I miss you all my best buddies. It's me Tuam. God bless and live your life to the fullest. What a great memory we had as KZ Band. Thanks for the memories.
One of the best hmong songs of all time by one of best hmong bands of all time. This song is timeless and tells a sad story that alot of people can relate to losing someone you love.
Ok, I Made A Mistake. Red Hot Chili Peppers Acutally Re-Sang That Song. The Original Singers Were "Dion and The Belmonts" The Song Came Out In The 50's
Is the Hmong Leng dialect really dead? Why do we have to resort to the past to find great songs in Hmong Leng? Where are the Hmong Leng bands and artists today? Or did all Hmong Leng become Hmoob Dlawb/white. No one wants to sing in Hmong Leng, no movies are in Hmong Leng, why? Let us all have a debate. Maybe we can start something in Moob Leeg.
Ulysses, why is the moob leeg dialect dead? Is that a good or bad thing? I want to understand why nothing is made in moob leeg anymore. Maybe you can explain? I'm gonna say that the dialect is not dead, because I hear moob leeg spoken left and right and behind me all the time at Fresno new year, and I was there for four days. It's a tragedy that moob leeg don't make anything in moob leeg anymore.
Hey Michael, do you know that this KZ band is made up of Moob Mua (Moua) brothers. So they could be your cousins or relatives. The "arts" is important to a culture; so we need Moob leng songs to represents our Moob leng culture, bro... The problem is that even some of the Moob leng singers only sing in the Moob dlawb dialect. And no one wants to sing in Moob leng. I don't understand that.
You know, I didn't know they were Moua's. If they were from CA, then I'm sure we're related somehow, because all of my extended family are concentrated there and France. And, I couldn't agree with you more about the lack of Moob Leeg contemporary music. It bothers me to no end too. Well, perhaps we should organize a Moob Leeg musical contest/festival to stoke the fire and encourage artists to produce more Moob Leeg mucic. Anyone is welcome to produce and showcase their best Moob Leeg work regardless of native dialect. Unfortunately, I have no musical talent whatsoever, so I wouldn't know where to start. However, I'd be more than happy to co-sponsor it and put up the grand prize....say $10,000. I've discussed this with my wife before since she's a classically trained pianist with a Masters in piano. She isn't Hmong and doesn't speak the language, so she doesn't feel comfortable organizing something of this magnitude either.... especially with young children in tow. If we could pull together a talented production team just as passionate about Moob Leeg music who are willing to volunteer their time to organize such an event, I'll put up the prize money and even arrange the venue at Harvard University where I'm currently working on grad school. Just food for thought.
Do you know why there is less of Moob Leeg songs out there now? Do not blame anyone but our Moob Leeg. Moob yeej tsis hlub Moob, Moob yeej tsis paab Moob. If you have 2 albums and one is Moob Leeg and the other is Moob dlawb. I bet you any amount of money that the Moob dlawb will sell more because our Moob Leeg don't support Moob Leeg. Its all about business. You need money to invest and if no ones support you then eventually you will no where. Now you know why.......

I love this song. Memory of the 80’s when we played at the Hmong New Year party.
Song like this is very "Beautiful". Those we're the days when Hmong Music was real and it hits us all in the Hearts ......
Brings back memories of the good old days. Young and carefree
I never know the meaning of these lyrics when I was younger even though I know all the words in memory until today. What a stannous....
I was a kid in the 80s and I saw them sometimes because we all lived in Santa Ana, Orange County, California. Not sure where they are now.
@SBUL Lis Your music knowledge is deeper than mine. You are right. This song does sound like Johnny Tilotson's.

Kz is one bad ass hmong band. I mean they create their own shit, and that's bad ass.
No, they did not create their own shit. They wrote the song but all of their music notes were copy cat...not one but all of it. Nothing original.
They straight up copy lol.. all they did was put a hmong green twist to it 😂

We prefer to go into science, education, and politics....fields that really matter.
