seriously, a man who gives one after another hit tv series is a great actor hollywood need to understand his talent and give him a good movie to make him a star that he deserve to be.
Timothy Olyphant is one of the most charismatic and genuinely funny men in Hollywood, i would love to meet him. Still one of the overlooked gems in acting.
I'm pretty sure there was some curse on all the actors in The Girl Next Door (2004). There was so many good looking/acting stars in that movie that didn't go as far as they should have.

The very best seen on justified was when that guy came to his motel with his wife there to kill both of them..an he gave Raylin a chance to grab a his gun on the table ..before he stabs him in the hand with a pic..an raylin pulls the table cloth making his gun slide over closer so he could grab it ..an he shot the dude... awesome

I've loved Olyphant since Scream2. He was pretty new back then, and I remember watching him in whatever he's done since then. Weird that this is the first time I've ever seen an interview with him. He is very likable, and funny without seeming to try at all.

Well he was hiding in plain sight. He took supporting roles and B movies to pay the bills and he kept plugging away, just like Kevin Bacon. He worked hard and bided his time and finally he gets to tell his jokes on Ellen and Conan, (in ratty blue jeans and a T shirt no less).
Everything I've ever heard or read about Olyphant suggests that he doesn't really want to be an A-list star that badly. He's talked about how much he enjoys getting to do fun/interesting jobs, without it dominating his life. If he was more deliberate about planning his roles and working the system, the way people like Will Smith and Tom Cruise are, he'd be much better known than he is.

And while I was really feeling bad that Elmore was gone along comes Peter Leonard writing in the same manner. I just finished a Justified binge and it's funny because I had a thought in my head that somewhere around s2-4 he really leaned into the character, especially the accent, noticeably. I'd have to watch it again to actually pick up where or if it's just in my head. But interesting to see him commenting on changing up accents, whether or not that's true.

This was one of the greatest series ever. I named our male pit bull Raylan. Me wife had not followed the series very close but when we bought a female pit pull I said let's name her Ava. My wife said we weren't going to name all the dogs after the characters on Justified. I said how about we call her Crowder? My wife liked that. A few days later my daughter ask what we had decided to call the dog. My wife said Crowder. My daughter said oh, like Ava Crowder. I laughed.
After watching these interviews numerous times over the years, I finally started watching Justified. And boy, it's good! And I dunno how but Tim looks much older in the show. He feels like it too. I never knew what a great actor he is.
