I enjoy organizing videos are yours are some of the best. Have to tell you, when you first started and you were pulling everything out of the closet, I was laughing. Your working away and it appeared as though everyone in your household had to be right there with you. When the dog started following you around, I lost it. That’s exactly how it goes around here. It was just funny.
Thank you so much 😊 yes that is a typical day in our household, everyone has to me where the action is 😂
I thought the same thing. Brought me joy!
Wow! I was exhausted for you!! Oh to be young again and have so much energy. This is looking so great. Love it!
Oh I paid for it the next day, but when I am on a mission it’s hard for me to stop 😆 Thanks so much, the end result was totally worth it!!
@@JessicaGraceDesigns Have you posted the part 2? I'm anxious to see how you changed your mind! LOL
It’s coming soon! 😁
I was overwhelmed for you! Huge job - good for you for taking it on and powering through. Having good systems already in place helps too. Can’t wait to see and hear more 👍.
Wow! You are a hard worker. Big job and you kept going! Love your energy. The room is spectacular......
Thank you 😊
I am just new to your channel and Im watching this and I am so overwhelmed just watching! And... You started off with a very organized space whereas most of us start off with a cluttered mess! Kudos to you! You might want to start a side business organizing craft rooms. You are so good!!
Thank you Kim. I do have a side hustle where I offer organization services. I appreciate the compliment 😊
You are a tornado!! So inspiring!! You kicked butt in your room!! Can't wait for part 2. I am changing my room again as well because I inherited an armoire from our master bedroom that my husband didn't want to get rid of.
Thank you 😊 a craft armoire is an awesome piece ! Have fun filling it up!!
I love it! The kid, the dog & even the husband...
Love it!
Just when I have my room where I want it......here comes more equipment and I rearrange yet again. Yours was a massive rearrange project. Looks good....cannot wait for part two🤗🤗🤗
I have a design studio ( I am a custom tailor) in one part of my home and my craft studio is in another area.......so two creative spaces to work with😊
Yup, those new toys and equipment always throw a wrens into our layouts, lol. Wow, two spaces, you have your work cut out for you!!
Wow hat a lot of work! I love doing stuff like that it's so satisfying. Then back to crafting!
I was so excited to find your craft room redo. I am in progress of redoing my craft studio which is in my bedroom. I am at the stage of pulling everything out, creating absolute chaos. I ordered a new L shaped desk to replace a small table, 4 sterilite drawers and 2 TV tray tables. As I empty the drawers, I am amazed at how much stuff I have that I don’t use or need......Time to donate, purge and reorganize. I am somewhere between excited, motivated and overwhelmed. My crafts are painting, quilting and sewing. I can’t wait to have a neat, organized, minimalist work space! I am looking forward to your Part 2 !
How exciting! It certainly can be overwhelming at times, but the end result is worth it 😊
OMG, all that unloading and reloading and then doing it all again! You must have been exhausted! Great job, though, in the end. It’s a lot of hard work. Well done. Thanks for sharing.
oh my word. your craft room is to die for..wished i lived near you as I'd sure love some of the things your tossing to good will. cant wait ti see it finished, excitedly following you.
Thank you 😊
Super love it! Can’t wait to see next video!
Your craft room is a dream come true. I loved it! 💖
It turned out so good!!
Thank you, I really love it 😊
Wow you did an amazing job I really get inspired when I see that kind of transformation. Excellent job 🤗
I soooooooooooooo needed this video - going through the same thing, and my motivation keeps dwindling... thanks for the kick in the butt LOL ;) xo Vicky PS It looks FANTASTIC - good for you!
Yay! You can do it!!
Nice job! Suggestion is to put your work table on risers if you plan to stand. A stool works nice as a tuck away seat.
I had a friend make some super sturdy shelves for my closet and they hold so much more that way.
Huge job for you but I think it’s already totally worth it.... Can’t wait for part 2 xx
I will be there. I have been trying to lay out my room in my mind.
Great space have a wonderful time crafting
Thank you 😊
I love these type of videos. I just did the same over two days and if felt amazing to get ride of old books etc. = thanks for sharing.
Wow, and I say WOW what an undertaking you did. My only concern is the wall with the baseboard heating element..do you turn that off if you do not need heat? I have now decided to change my room around and put a large work table in the middle of the room so I can use all sides of the table. Not looking forward to the mess, but looking forward to the necessary change. Thank you.
Thank you :) I do not use the baseboard heat down here, just a space heater if needed. The mess from rearranging can be overwhelming but focus on your end result and you will push through. 😊
This is so exciting! New subscriber here! I transformed my dining room into a craft room in November and I decided it’s too much space, so I’m making a craft “nook” I appreciate all your organization as I’m going to need that inspiration for Thursday, that’s the day we start the move! Thank you for sharing this video!
How exciting!! Thanks so much for subscribing. Enjoy the process 😊
Sometimes a new layout helps spark new creative ideas! Love the new layout. I’m all for rearranging videos these days because we reorganized our whole downstairs and I’m trying to bring most if not all my craft inventory downstairs instead of crammed in a closet upstairs.
I agree about rearranging sparking creativity 😊 enjoy your new space!!
It's so funny that I am doing exactly the same thing now all because I just bought a new Epson printer but didn't have a good spot for it lol. I'm rearranging my entire craft room and I felt the same way, that I must be crazy so I'm glad I'm not the only one lol.
Glad to know I am not alone either 😂
Jessica , I envy your energy . It’s looks very user friendly . Can you tell me where you got the shelves for the kallex. They look would in a H shape and makes you able to add 2 baskets. Thanks
Thank you Lisa! I got those from Walmart, link is in the description. They are perfect to add two baskets, I love them!
I love the folded fan gallery above your desk... Did you make that? Great use of space!
Thank you. Yes will premade fans from Target party section :)
Wonderful layout. I have a similar beautiful brown conference type table in my craft room. I don't want to paint it because if I ever need to sell it, I think it'll sell for more as is (perfect, no dings or scratches & I want to keep it that way).
I do have 1 recommendation though. It looked like there might've been mildew or mold toward the bottom of your closet wall when you moved things out. Al tho you painted over it, depending on the paint you used it could come back. 1 thing that might help is to move stuff away from the wall a few inches so you've got some air circulation. I'd also keep the curtains open as much as possible for air & close them just when you have company, etc.
I agree on the table, I actually changed that out and have a new table, you’ll see that in part 2. Appreciate the insight on the closet as well 😊
Have you ever considered a Create Room Dreambox? Mine completely changed my office/craft space. Cannot believe how much it stores. Pricey but so worth it.
I have not but have heard good things about them.
What size is your room? It's nice you have a big closet. My closets are only 3' wide and just deep enough for a hanger. Personally I would have just built shelves in the closet
It is a 10x16. Funny enough, this is the only room in our house with a big closet 😂
Love seeing how you reorganized your room! Thanks for sharing! 💓Jill
Wowww what an amazing space!!
Can I ask you what type of crafting you do ???
You have soo much inventory that is why I’m curious as to what you actually make.
Thank you 😊 I scrapbook mainly, dabble in other paper crafts on occasion.
Love it. Where did you get the shelf you put over your cameo? I so need that.
Thank you! It was a display shelf that I got from our local Sears store that closed last year
We moved in to our new home. My studio was over a 3 car car garage. Built ins. We love it here, but overwhelmed with what to purchases , especially to store my things in. Not bins
Sounds like a wonderful space! It has taken me a lot of trial and error to find a solution I was happy with, Good luck on finding yours 😊
I literally have four home offices and one in the boys room. Why? Whenever I started thinking of homeschooling and started buying items, I wasn’t aware of so much stuff I purchased until I started putting things together. You have really overwhelmed me because I feel your pain. Lord Help Us
Is that a drink holder at 3:43?? I need one!
It is. Made by Creative Memories, however I don’t think they make it any longer
@@JessicaGraceDesigns oh no!!! That's a big BOOOOO! Oh well I'll keep searching!
Where did you get the bok cases like look like the have 12 x 12 squares?
So I have Target cube units that are all 13x13 cubes. The book case with the cubes on bottom was from Big Lots and that only have 11x11 cubes.
Please tell us what you have your supplies organized. What do you have in the clear files with labels?
If you visit my channel, I have videos that share the details on how I organized my supplies 😊
I would use your longer table top and place over your cubes for your computer area. It would give you more depth for your machines
Jessica, I am a new subbie, and so inspired! I recently thought of relocating all my paper to another room, but they are in a built in cabinet now, so I'd need new storage to move it. So I need to know...does the Target cube shelving (like the IKEA Kallax) hold 12x12 albums and vertical paper holders? I have a ton of the vertical "magazine-style" plastic paper storage files and like them, so I need to know before I buy. Is the unit in your closet an IKEA and the smaller units...are they the Target ones? Thanks!!!! It's cold and rainy and Covid-y here, so may as well organize!!
PS- Can't wait to see Part 2...( YOU CHANGED YOUR MIND???!!! :0) lol
Welcome and thank you so much for subscribing! The Target cubes do fit 12x12 albums and paper :) they are a nice replacement when you don’t have a IKEA near by. Have fun organizing!!
Is that mold in the closet. I would leave the table it's natural color.
It is not. It was just the lighting and poor paint job by the previous owners.
How big is your room? Great job!
Thank you, it’s approx 10x16
Really need this video
Just wondering where you got that outlet cube?
You can find them on Amazon. I cannot find the exact one I have but here is a similar one: amzn.to/3rez0Qq
LOL I’d have put the printer in a different room, you did an awesome job
haha, Thank you! 😊
What's the blue thing hanging off the computer desk, please?
It’s a creative memories cup/phone holder that clamps to the desk
@@JessicaGraceDesigns Thank you. Sounds very handy.
Where did you get your cup holder on your desk?
It was made by Creative Memories, I got it about 4 years ago, I don’t think they make them anymore. Sorry 😞
I’m constantly organizing my room, there’s things I don’t like but.... my husband complains when I want to change major items
My husband hates when I move things around in the kitchen. He says he cannot find anything. One thing that helps me a lot is that I hang a lot of things with 3M hooks. If I want to move them, I can, without putting holes in the walls.
Me: organizing my craft room
Hubby: "Looks like you're making room for more stuff"
Me: I'm not! I'm organizing and cleaning!!!
Hubby: "Your Amazon package just came"
Me: oh. Uggg
I can 100% relate!! Vicious cycle 🤣
If I got something that didn’t fit the second I tried I would just start redoing everything right then and there lol.
We are a lot alike 😂
Love your videos and hope I can be as good as you one day!!!❤️
If you plan to stand while crafting, why waste the floor space under your table? You can put a storage unit under the table.
Was there ever a moment when you thought, I should have not started this?
Great question! There was a couple of times yes, the reason being I was unsure if I was going to like the new layout, but the desire to fit my new printer and purge some of my items kept me going. I am so glad I did!!
I just said that the other day. I should have never started scrapbooking!
I think on beginning of this film ...why you moving all layout around for one chunky printer 🙄 and then curtain go down and I get it .... this space need revamp or you will need learn to swim in pille of containers and paper .....aka not too happy space ..
Advice for any crafter ..use biggest space of wall for your cubbies as mixing tall and small will make space smaller
