hi Luca, I am interested in the course. I wanted to buy the methods. I have read that there is a referral code in the end of the index. Could you pass it?
Hello, Luca. First of all, thank you for free content. A question: as far as I understand you advocate for using your mother tounge in BTM. What do you think about using a foreign language instead? At the moment I'm learning Swedish and I find it more convenient to use English as the translation language. It's similar enough syntaxwise, but distinct enough to not be too much of a hint. Do you think it's a legit approach or am I missing on something? After I reach ~B1 in Swedish I plan to take up Lithuanian. Do you think using Swedish as the translation language will help me consolidate my skill-knowledge, or, on the contrary, it will hinder my progress? One benefit of using your mother tounge is preventing its deterioration. I don't mean only being unable to remember words from your L1 but also some syntactic distortions. Kind regards, Andrzej
I have a problem when I try to apply "The Bidirectional Translation Method" to my target languages. My native language is Turkish and structure is much more different than many European languages. (Verbs are at the end of the sentences etc.) So, I couldn't get my learning to a point. What's your opinions on that? I think same thing can we talk for Japanese who wants to learn an European Language such as English, Spanish, French, Italian, German ...
I’ve been studying Portuguese for over 8 years now and I’ve visited Brazil 18 times but I still can’t converse or read and I have to translate everything into English to understand. I’ve been practicing every day with my girlfriend for over 5 years now but I still can’t understand her. She only speaks Portuguese. The words don’t mean anything to me until I translate them. It’s very frustrating because I’ve never had problems learning before.

Excuse me for this harsh remark, stemming from my experience both as a langauge learner and teacher of 40/20 years: Translation sucks for most learners. They destroy an important, Id say indispensable step, described as "comprehensible input" by Krashen or, by others.

www.lucalampariello.com/services/
The french facial expressions though 😂👌🏻
Hello sir i am shanthi from india i try to learn hindi for 6 years but i not have a proper guide and speaking partner so i quite .i have spent lot of money and energy but all are waste.can u give me any idea to restart my language learning.
Hola Luca.
I already bought the course when it first launched on Linguacore but there is no way to access it anymore as your course has moved to another website. How can I get access to the course?
Hi Jennifer! Please write to me in private, you can do so by heading to www.lucalampariello.com/ and clicking on the "contact me" button at the bottom right of the page. Thanks and have a fantastic day! =)
Oh! This is lifetime course? I’m currently learning Italian but I can purchase this and use it later on a future language? 🤔
Indeed you can =) You can use it to learn any new language from scratch with this
@@LucaLampariello Grande!
"Tutte 'ste lingue" you're a legend!
Grazie
I asked myself why it didn't work...it was because it was far too slow. Everything is always too slow for those of us who have limited time available and need results fast.
Hi, can you write what he says in italian part?
Lol did you forget to disclose what this bidirectional translation method is
Did you ever get the impression that the more you learn the more you think that you will never learn a language? (Because the more you know the more things you see you have to learn)
I never had that impression
It has a name, the dunning kruger effect :) look it up
1:10 Ha-ha I really like the acting. So accurate. Don't speak these myself, but watched a lot of natives speak and say those things exactly the way Luca did. Intonations, gestures XD
Luca you need to add a payment plan!
Can this course be used for starting a language from ZERO?
This is EXACTLY what this course is about: how to start a language from ZERO =)
Good channel
Thanks Zanobia! =)
Can I learn a language for 4 hours a day so like learning different topics in the language and then watching tv shows/movies in the language for a break?
If you have the time and energy to do so, why not?
@@LucaLampariello thank you for replying !! :)
I've noticed that you're no longer trying to make yourself sound too much American compared to a few years ago. I think it would be interesting if you expanded a little bit more on that in one of your videos one day.
Not sure what you mean Laura ;-)
@@LucaLampariello what made you realize that the old accent wasn't suitable anymore, supposing that that's what happened? Your pronunciation changed slightly. I just think it's interesting how after so many years of you speaking the language and being fluent in it you're still finding ways to improve.
@@LucaLampariello you sound like it’s something in your mouth
the German is iffy
