The Fastest Cobblestone Generator?! A Minecraft Create Mod Tutorial
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 26 сен 2024
- This is the fastest cobblestone generator I've ever seen for Minecraft Survival. It generates 5760 cobblestone (90 full stacks) EVERY SINGLE MINUTE, or nearly 350,000 cobblestone per hour! It's crazy fast, it does not lag your server, and it's not difficult to build with the Minecraft Create Mod.

Ok. Holy WOW. This legit lagged me out in 5 seconds. Had no storage and cobble everywhere. Sweet build. Connect a BIG Storage first. Then turn it on. Like the build for sure thanks.
Oh yikes, that’s crazy. Yeah I could imagine how much of a mess this would make without storage to catch the cobblestone, even after just a few seconds! Personally I like to use a huge item vault, the chests do work but they fill up quick. Thanks so much for watching the video, glad you liked it!
@@TutorialsByLarry You don't mind if I'm gonna use this design in a farm I'm making? (I will be posting it on my channel) Gonna be a sweet farm when I'm done.
@@Notsporebat111 that’s very honorable of you to ask! I don’t mind at all! It would awesome if you could give me a shout-out in your video or description if you don’t mind. I feel like I’m definitely struggling to grow my audience too so any extra exposure is always good. I’d love to see your video when you’re done, I’m excited to see where you take this design.
Now i can have sooo much cobble for my one block world thanks keep it up
You bet! I always appreciate you watching, hope the tutorial helps out.
Ok, now that’s an INSANE amount of cobble! Thanks for making this tutorial, I’ll definitely be making one of these bad boys!
You’re very welcome, hope it helps out!
If u find a problem in the lava just use the dripstone and cauldron method
This is a really great suggestion. In most cases you definitely wouldn’t need this but if you go this route, I’ve found that a cauldron array of 7x7, with a good sized lava tank as the buffer, acts just like an infinite lava supply. I use this method for my steam engines.
finally something that wasnt made with trapdoor lol
😁
Tysm, now i can have a cobble factory!
You’re very welcome! I appreciate you watching, and good luck with your cobble factory!
I'm probably doing something wrong, but every time I give power to the mechanical pumps it switches the direction in a checkerboard pattern. Do you know how to stop this?
Yeah I’ve had this problem before. And actually it seems to be a bug with older versions of the create mod. They seemed to have fixed this with the latest 0.5.1f version. If updating your mod isn’t an option, I had a viewer that had an awesome tip. Instead of using pumps at every location just use pipes going up into the contraption. And then use a single pump to push lava into all of the pipes. Then if the power flips the orientation of your single pump just right click it with your wrench to flip the direction it’s pumping.
@@TutorialsByLarry thanks for the quick reply, and yes the alternate build idea worked great.
when i connect mechanical pump the whole thing get overstressed.why?
That could honestly just be a case of not having enough power. A large windmill should be more than enough to run this setup. Also, you could try to remove the speed controller and just bring regular power to your pumps. Or turn down the speed of your speed controller to 32 or something.
I have now rebuilt everything one-to-one exactly like in the video (I wanted to do it in Survival but it didn't work there, so I built the same thing again and also used the windmill function, unfortunately neither worked. Which version did you play? ?
Same issue
I’m currently using Create Mod 0.5.1f and Minecraft Survival 1.20.1. And Fabric for my launcher. What sort of issues are you guys seeing, maybe I can offer some suggestions?
@@TutorialsByLarry The machine itself works, but no cooblestones come out
@@violetyuki2801 ok I gotcha. Are you 100% sure the pumps are all facing upward? That’s messed me up multiple times in the past. The other thing to check is that the pumps are actually spinning. And also, is your lava source emptying out or staying full? A quick test you can do is to build that hand-crank version that I made at the beginning of my video, just to make sure the mechanic of creating the cobblestone is actually working on your server.
@@TutorialsByLarry I did it with your first machine and it doesn't even seem to produce stone. How can I possibly set this up so that this is possible, because I normally play on my own private server
I just made one that is only two rows wide, and I had to shut it off within about three minutes, because I couldn't store enough cobble!
That’s so awesome! I appreciate the feedback too, this isn’t a really big farm overall, but it’s nice to know you can shrink it and still get plenty of output.
Nice machine solves my problem effciently
Awesome I’m glad it helped out, thanks for watching!
Thank you, this combined with mekanism makes amazing things
You’re very welcome! Thanks for watching!
thank you Larry! very cool design
You’re very welcome, thanks so much for watching.
Schematic?
Yes, definitely! Sorry I haven’t had a chance to do this yet but I’m going to setup a Git page or something similar. I’ll post a notification to the channel when it’s all ready to go.
@@TutorialsByLarry make a mediafire link or smth its much easier to set up
mine for some reason the lava runs out it produces like 3 stacks of cobble and the lava disapears did i do something wrong?
I’ve seen this happen to a couple of viewers. One person pointed out that this was a Create Mod version issue, so I definitely recommend you’re using the latest version, which is 0.5.1f I believe. Also, you could try to pull lava from multiple locations at the same time. Since you have so many pumps connected it would be easy to make a few lava sources underneath the contraption. You could also try slowing down your speed controller that’s connected to your pumps. Hope something here helps, good luck to you.
what versions of create does this work on?
I’m currently running 0.5.1f but I’ve used it on previous versions and it worked well. Some people have had trouble with earlier versions running out of lava though so you may want to be current. Also, running Minecraft 1.20.1 on my SMP.
Its a cool design but its definitely not the fastest out there ive seen some designs similiar to this that are alot faster
Thanks for checking it out! And yeah, I’m not sure how this compares to the really crazy inventions out there, but this will scale up really well too. It would be really easy to make this a lot wider than 6 blocks and still get two passes per second. I haven’t tested the threshold of how wide you can go but I’m sure it’s a lot bigger than what I built here.
Hahaha nope! My next tutorial is going to show you how to use a lot of this, but this design honestly makes much more cobble than you need. You could probably cut this design in half and that would still be enough.
@higgsbonbon I’ve been thinking about a tutorial for a silverfish farm actually! It’s definitely one of the more unique contraptions you can make with the Create Mod.
@@TutorialsByLarry I'm planning to use it as the first step for all the other farms I plan to make, since generating building blocks or materials typically starts with cobblestone.
@@firelordsozin8308 Absolutely! I honestly think cobblestone is the most useful block when it comes to building factories with the Create Mod.
genuine question, in term of ressources, isn't it better to get like one mechanical pump pouring all the lava into a set of pipes, pipes that are then directed to the top (the pipes pour the lava on the water, and not the pumps pouring lava on the water) ?
I've tested it in creative and it works at least, (just use the wrench on a pipe to avoid them to connect together), but i don't know about the producitvity part... does using pump instead of pipes is better for a better ratio of stone/hour ?
I think this is a brilliant suggestion. I’ve always used pumps because that’s how I originally prototyped it and it worked. But only having to send power to a single pump, and not having to make a LOT of pumps might be more energy and resource efficient. I’ve not tested this but it sounds promising if you got it to work on Creative. I’ll have to try this out the next time I build a cobblestone farm on my server!
@@TutorialsByLarry Yup it's definitly working ! btw quick question, why 64 rpm and reapater on a tick speed of 3 ? is there any technical thing related to this ?
Oh and great farm btw thank you !
@@uninconue4513 I use a tick speed of three just to help prevent lag on my server. The speed I set on my speed controller seemed to be a good value for controlling the lava flow but it’s not really scientific, honestly you could probably remove the speed controller from the mix and still be able to get enough power to pump the lava.
So Im asking this because this is the most recent video but I have a different version of the farm that works with the create mod minecart contraptions which does the same thing that this farm does so it doesnt matter but how do I make sure the pumps dont exhaust the lava? every time i turn my farm on the lava runs out and I have it in a fluid tank for easy access but it will slowly run out over time and I cant fix the issue
Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this! So I’ve seen some people that have this issue and one suggestion was that this was a bug in a specific version of the Create Mod. And if you update to the latest version.0.5f version you should be ok. Also, something else you can try is don’t connect the speed controller to the pumps, or turn it way down. Another suggestion that works for some people is to create multiple lava sources getting pumped into your pipes.
The lava runs out very quickly for me and doesn't stay. Can someone help me or is this normal?
Unfortunately I’ve seen a couple of viewers with this same problem. It *seems* to be related to a specific version of the Create Mod actually. First thing, I recommend upgrading to version 0.5.1f. Next, you could always try to pull lava from multiple sources. This is actually pretty easy since you’ve got so many pumps underneath your contraption. Another idea is to slow down the speed controller you have connected to your pumps.
Given your comment is from after the release of 1.21, and this video come frome before, I believe it could be the 1.21 version
Absolutely a great theory. But even though Minecraft keeps updating the version of the current build, typically when you’re using the Create Mod you lock your Minecraft version with the Fabric Launcher. I’m currently locked into version 1.20.1 for instance. And the create mod would also be locked into that version. So in theory the new Minecraft version will have absolutely no effect on the create mod at all. I strongly recommend checking your create mod version and also recommend using the 0.5.1f version of Create.
i dont think it works anymore, lava gets pumped away
Is your lava supply drying up? A couple of other viewers have reported this same problem. It seems like this could actually be related to a specific version of the Create Mod. Have you tried updating to version 0.5.1f?
YOU ARE CLEVER MAN !!
I really appreciate that! Thanks so much for checking out the video.
Heyo! The only thing i have issue with is the lava source pack being used up, i tried make it 2x2 and all but it still uses the source block up :/
I’m wondering, if you have a speed controller connected to your pumps, try taking it out and see if that’s enough power to pump the lava. Or maybe turning down the speed controller? You could technically also create multiple source blocks of lava with multiple feed lines into your pumps. I’ve seen this happen before and I’m just not 100% sure why. One other thing to check is the version of the Create Mod you’re using. The latest is 0.5.1f and I’ve had no issues like this.
too op, gonna build the "perfect mob farm" that only needs 189 stacks of slabs and 26 st of cobbleXD
Totally agree, this is more cobblestone than anyone would ever need! But, if you’re going all-out with the Create Mod you can actually use this much cobblestone for building iron farms, gold farms, and others.
@@TutorialsByLarry yea gonna have so much fun
@@TutorialsByLarry totally forgot to mention that i have 6m cobble
Wow! That’s like 100k stacks. Sounds like a good plan to build a mega base or something.
it broke XD
My lava goes away if I turn it on once. Why? But it is a crazy farm
I appreciate you checking out the video! For grins, make your lava source a little bigger. Maybe try 4 buckets of lava in a 2x2 square. And remember, the lava has to be “standing” versus “flowing”.
I copied that setup, but the cobblestone doesn't generate. Is it possibly an issue with my settings?
Honestly your Minecraft settings *shouldn’t* affect this. First question, are you using Java or Bedrock edition? I’ve never tried Bedrock Create Mod so maybe the behavior is a little different? Second, are you sure all of your mechanical pumps are facing upward? I’ve actually seen them flip orientation when you connect power to them. Last thing to check, is everything properly moving back and forth with your mechanical piston?
@TutorialsByLarry I'm using Java edition, the pumps are facing up, and the floor shifts over like it's supposed to. I have the rotation speed at 64 and have tried the pump speed at 8 and 16rpm. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but any suggestions would be great appreciated.
Hmmm, this is definitely a puzzler. Are you playing on a server? That *shouldn't* matter, I run this on a server all the time, but maybe there's a setting on your server that's tripping this up? Or, if you're playing on a local map, have you adjusted the tick speed or anything to do with time? Or, are you using any additional mods that could interfere, like some other variant of the Create Mod? Another thing to check, is your lava source getting emptied out or staying full? You could build multiple lava blocks with feed pipes into the cobble generator and that might help the lava flow. One last thing, the water source you have above the lava, is it running water or still water blocks? You'll definitely want running water and i recommend one water stream per row (6 total if you followerd the tutorial).@@benromero6261
I'm running into the same issue myself. Currently trying to troubleshoot what's going on. I have most of the Create extra mods installed as well, so I'm unsure what is causing the issue. Did you ever figure out what was going on with yours?
I just found posts talking about the issue. Apparently in 1.20.1-0.5.1.e, gantry style cobbelstone generator farms were broken. If anyone has this issue, I just confirmed that everything works great in the current newest version 1.20.1-0.5.1.f
does it still works?
Absolutely! This design works great on the Create Mod 0.5.0 and 0.5.1. And it also works great on a multiplayer server, doesn’t seem to cause any lag.
Why does this work with only one source block of lava? If anyone knows, I'm just curious. If there is some kind of logic to it i want to find out where else that logic could apply.
I think we would have to ask the developers of Create to be 100% sure, but my theory is that: for this type of farm you’re not actually consuming that lava entirely between ticks of the machine. Oddly enough, I’ve seen a couple of cases where you actually do require more source blocks of lava to make this work so maybe it’s also an issue of how quickly your tick speed is set on the redstone clock, server lag, etc.
If your doing it in creative you could also use the creative fluid tank
I am having an issue where my piston won't move chassis- not even one chassis. Version 1.20.1. Have you seen this happen?
Some things to check… make sure you have at least one piston extension pole attached. Also make sure you have power going into the piston and make sure that it’s not over stressed. Is the piston also getting Redstone power?
@@TutorialsByLarry All of the above was good, piston worked without a block in front of it. I found even having one singular chassis in front of it wouldn't move. I am wondering if its a limitation placed on the server I am in
When i place the pump the sistem block because its "sovracharged" what i had to do?
You may just need some more power. Maybe a larger windmill, or even some steam power. This whole thing should run fine on a decent sized windmill. Another thing you can try is to turn down the speed on your speed controller.
I faucking wasted 20min making this farm and it dosent work
I 100% guarantee it does work. I use it on my SMP every day and so do a lot of my viewers. Maybe you’ve got something connected wrong? What’s happening when you turn on the farm?
@@TutorialsByLarry ye he i think there is somthing wrong whit the lave bc that lava tube is not sucking up the lava from the lava sorce block
@@TutorialsByLarry and when i turn on the farm nothing happends
Fake dosent work
Check out my last response - what’s going on when you turn on the farm? What’s not working for you?
I got 345K per hour. Ty great video.
That’s awesome, thanks for checking out the video!
its working perfectly but it doesn"t breaks cobblestone can uhelp me?
So everything is moving back and forth but no cobblestone is coming out? Is your lava getting pumped up into the blocks below the water ok? That would usually cause this problem. You just need to make sure all of your pumps are pointed up.
@@TutorialsByLarry i checked that and every pump is pointed up its makes cobblestone but it lefts it without breaking it
