    Just took October DSAT. Wow, I just want to thank you Mike for helping me with the English section. I drank coffee before the test (never have done that) and through analyzing strong words and key phrases I somehow managed to finish m1 and m2 without having to guess for 5 unanswered questions at the end of modules! On math, I did not do as good as I liked cuz it felt really hard but after talking to some students I know I at least made the hard module. I’m feeling really conflicted right now and I just hope that I got a good score and all my studying wasn’t for nothing 😅

    • @SetteleTutoring
      @SetteleTutoring  27 дней назад

      Thanks for the feedback! I’m so glad I could help with all of it. Any recommendations for math questions I should be making for the next group of testers? I feel like the math is always hard because the end is unpredictable. We know the topics are consistent, but there are infinite ways they can put them together, so we’re always trying to untwist what we get. I’m sure you did great, though! Harder modules means we can get more wrong and not lose as many points.

      No. “Such as” leads into a clause with examples. It would make no sense to remove it entirely from the sentence but leave the list it’s introducing.

    How to review questions more effectively and faster ? I have watched your strategy playlist and done many practice questions from bluebook and Question bank but I don’t find myself improving much. When I watch u explain, it seems easy. But when I do it on my own, I still get lost in what I’m reading and fall for re-reading ( just in some few cases dumb summary / connotation help). It wastes my time and my energy. The more I read, I more discouraged I become.
    I don’t know what I should do now? My exam is in October , im kinda panicking. My score is 600-650, is it possible for me to get 700+ in English section?

    • @SetteleTutoring
      @SetteleTutoring  2 месяца назад

      Yes, 700+ is possible. You need to just keep chipping away, question by question. Improving the Reading score can be frustrating and slow. It takes a very conscious effort to try actually reading differently. Every vocabulary word you don’t know is another potential loss of points, so you can work to minimize that by memorizing new words. The passages are tough because there are so many words, and the sentences on the hard ones can be long and confusing, but I make it look easy because I have learned when to pay attention to the passages. I can read in such a way that only the very important Strong Words jump out. Most of what I read is going in one ear and out the other, but when I see a phrase that matters, it jumps off the page for me. Dumb Summaries force us to trim out details and think about the words that truly matter. When that fails, the choices have their own Strong Words that you can train yourself to notice. Just keep practicing with that goal in mind.

    Dear settele your youtube channel is the best but i think the only problem is there are so many videos there. if you delete videos of old format and use its contents in new format for your new videos it will be good for everybody.
    pleasssse think about it.

    • @SetteleTutoring
      @SetteleTutoring  2 месяца назад

      Yeah, this is a good idea. I don’t want to delete them because some of the old test questions are helpful if you run out of digital SAT practice tests, but I can make them unlisted, I think. Where are you running into the old questions? Do they show up as recommended?

    • @AhmadMustafa-l2i
      @AhmadMustafa-l2i 2 месяца назад

      @@SetteleTutoring no my dear. they don't show up as recommended but there are two reasons which i think you should delete them first you could refine their content and use their content in new videos for digital sat and second when first time someone visit your channel and see there are tons of videos they don't want to use your channel cause they think they couldn't find their way through as i thought first and just leave your channel. that is also i think the reason that you don't have lots of subscribers though you are the best while some other channels have more subscribers cause they just look good. thanks

    can you tell me the logic of the equation and how we can find it without testing the equations
    question 16:08

    • @OverclockingCowboy
      @OverclockingCowboy 2 месяца назад +1

      120 + 70 (x - 3)
      120 + 70x - 210
      70x - 90

    • @SetteleTutoring
      @SetteleTutoring  2 месяца назад +2

      You really don’t find the equation without testing. That’s the point! Your logic is likely to be wrong, so it’s best to never go down that path. If the equation fits the points, that’s all that matters. There is no deeper logic beyond that.

      You’re over-thinking it. Plug the point (3, 120) into the equation. It produces an invalid result: 120=330. You’re getting tricked into thinking that 120 is a y-intercept. It’s not. Y-intercepts are where x=0, but that’s not the case with that point.
