Took it out and gave it a quick clean today. Bit of corrosion in mine on one of the pins but the doors are unlocking now so at least thats something. They still wont lock but I'll give it another go tomorrow and see if i can get it locking too. Thanks for the tips 👍
If the switches for both central locking and mirrors are not working from centre, the wires at drivers door hinge will have broke, accessible from open door and remove speaker to get hand in to push loom out to repair after unplugging door loom from socket👍
Because your locks are full of dirt thats the problem i have the same u need to clean them first and then pop up with wd 40 ruclips.net/video/qWYkjlcR1Ws/видео.html
@@slivonovaa i watched your video, great quick-fix, but i dont believe its a sustainable fix and probably not the same problem as the switch fix.. how to check if its the switch is to check if the car opens the locks using the key lock button, if it does open then no drilling is required, just the switch clean or replacement switch.
@@gman3474 Its only a fix for Cars like my Altea those lock are just too lazy u know those mechanisms cant push the lock cause of dirt after 200 000 km there is some in there so i need to click maybe 3 times to open my doors with central key :)
Mine keeps on locking / unlocking and radio going off and on at same time, I came across something about the wires in the door hinge before but can't remember what it was, do you know how I get in there? My locking switch has never worked also although it does unlock@@rickbeattie7038

I would order a new or replacement switch... they are very easy to get at your local car breakers yard or on ebay

Use a flat screw driver or a butter knife or something to pop it out...
