Louise Penny writes the Inspector Gamache books set in Quebec. They are very good, would recommend 😊 In the opening titles it does say they are based on the Alberg series by L.R Wright. They do go by quickly!

It’s a good show but there is lots of horror and darkness and psychotic stuff.

@ yes that much is pretty obvious to most folks watching it. As I said it is enjoyable. But a bit on a dark side. Perhaps ot is the lighting.
