Very Nice!...I recall last spring dropping a similar experimental red butt purple/blue rib chironomid in 43 ft water & rewarded with instant success, so after destroying the few patterns I had & a great day , I was sure to tie up a few at Base Camp . Of course fish turned right off the following day with some unstable weather, but "Thats Fishin" I now add a coat of Sally Hansons over my Blue Light Cure.
Great looking pattern Phil. I have become accustomed to blending thread bodies, but I've never thought to use the wrap to blend. Great idea! Thanks so much for sharing!
