Thank you very much! I just bought the slim one, brand new for 20$ for a Dell Venue Pro 11 with 3G. refurbished (150$).. but then again, the tablet was released a couple of years ago.. Keep up the good work!

Excellent review, LIsa! At your convenience, could you please tell me where from did you purchase your polycarbonate case? There are rumors on the Internet that the ports are not cut correctly, and indeed, all vendor's pictures show wrong cuts... except yours in the video! YOUR case would perfectly match my Dell Venue 11 Pro. What model is it and where can I get it from? THANK YOU!!
if you would have used the slim case with the "origami" 1" top part folded up, it actually magnetically sticks to the back of the venue 11. You had it folded down, that is why it didn't want to stand up right without balancing it in the perfect position
+EVMANVSGAS the connection of slim is bad yoi have to fight to get cursor. unless the whole thing lays flat and then hard to see. also the thing loses commection fast
There are two different slim cases. This one, and the origami. I have this one and it doesn't have the creases on the rear panel which allow the origami fold. I can definitely assure you that no matter what you do, the non-origami design just collapses all the time. The keyboard also tends to self-destruct since it is too flexible. The folio keyboard on the Latitude 11 is the king in terms of stability and sufficient stiffness of the keyboard (and it has backlighting!). But a Latitude 11 with its slim folio keyboard if fatter and heavier than the Venue 11 Pro, and Venue 11 Pros are very cheap on eBay right now.

Any Bluetooth keyboard will work with the ThinkPad 2.
Would you recommend this tablet over the Surface Pro 2?
I personally would choose the Surface Pro 2 if you need a fairly powerful tablet with an Intel Core CPU. On the other hand, if you want a budget Windows tablet, the Atom version of the Venue 11 Pro is great.

Lisa, I've been reading bad reviews of customers about the Dell Venue 11 (I'm interested in the Intel Core ones): crashes, lack of drivers and so on. This is the only tablet that could beat my intention in bying the Surface Pro 2. I watched your video of the Venue Pro 11 Bay Trail. Did you have a chance to test any of the Venue Pro 11 Intel Core's model? Do you know if it is a reliable machine (from what I know, Surface Pro 2 definitely is).

I had the same issue. I read that you need to update drivers. I got one for my dad so I haven't had a chance to try it out but that is what I read to do. update the chipset drivers and it is supposed to work again after the Windows 10 upgrade.

Great review, poor pricing on the slim keyboard. My first gen Surface Pro Type Cover cost the same and is much better. However, the battery keyboard is pretty nice...any plans to review the Lenovo Miix 2 10? It's the premium reason why ARM tablets are rip-offs; same price and quality as a toyPad, quadruple more value.

The thicker, more expensive keyboard makes it look/seem like a Vostro.
Just got mine lol. I need to replace the battery.
drawback is curser when using slim keyboard. No option when i got mine. angle is bad overal for slim keyboard. casnt open the micro slot

I have the slim Keyboard and it keeps dropping out! Physically still joined but the Venue 11 pro just won't acknowledge the key pad is there?

Bad review, the 7140 and most of the other models have rampant powering up issues which are similar, a manufacturing defect and not a software patch that will resolve it. Extremely bad video to base your buying decision on.
