So tyris Flare is the main leading character of golden axe. Meanwhile ax and gilius are supporting characters, but those 2 have their own reasons to kill Death Ander. They should do a PS5 remake of the original golden axe.
In this PC Engine CD version they don't allow two players but depending on which character you choose it features a story that only has that one character. Its basically three alternate stories and they don't seem to interact with each other.
That's weird, the text is in English, yet the cutscenes are all in Japanese (not even any subtitles). Also, I think at least one of the two knights in the semi-last stage was the one who killed Tyris' mother.
Her Kingdom was conquered by Death Adder and his men had killed her family... He took her whole world. Ax Battler lost his Mother to the bastard. Gillius lost his Brother...all 3 go after him for personal reasons.

Pc engine's graphical prowess is between the NES and the Genesis.
