This technique is my go-to. When I do invisible twists, it pulled too much at my hair and damages it. Rubber bands damage my hair too since I always have my hair pulled up in a bun. With the braid then crochet method, the added hair doesn't pull at your natural hair as much and I can do it much faster than all those others. Yours came out nice Sis. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

So cute, I did the exact same style this weekend for the first time. Love this way because there isn’t as much tension on your hair when done this way.

Didn’t know it was different sizes for crochet hook and I’ve been doing crochets since crochet braids were out back in the early 90s. Your twist looks amazing. I will have to give this productive style.

Thank you for taking the time to see howbeautiful theycan be. My friend does my box braids of 127 braids every 3 months. Takes 7 hours to do it and it will itch sometimes but we are going to try this soon.
I just came from another video...the “braid up” method is the GOAT! I do mine with Marley hair and i braid the base with the Marley hair and then separate my hair into each section and twist. Love love, mine have been in two months and i just redo when needed.

Great job! This is my first time seeing your hair tutorial. Your natural hair is pretty the way it is already. My hair wasn’t quite your length after 4 years of being natural I just slapped a perm on it. Because the dandruff have returned I never could do braids, weaves or extensions.
