Ou took the last step back on the mat to avoid any unnecessary deduction for extra steps. Komova would have taken a few extra steps to make herself comfortable next to the mat 😭
Most beautiful, light and airy front handspring front I have ever seen, done perfectly, spot on, no hesitation. Just gorgeous. Really nice jumps too. Coaches really worked the code here to create her routine.
I feel like even with that dismount, her E score is just way too low. Beam is kind of becoming infuriating to watch with how they are judging them. Her execution on pretty much every move is flawless.
She actually has more errors than most Chinese girls, her rings are not as strong and has some short splits like the switch half and also some bent knees here and there, but she proved to be easily the most consistent Chinese gymnast on beam. Yes one fall but everyone falls sometimes.
@@dimestorepoet Definitely there was a leak but I haven't heard a single gymnast claim that it actually caused their fall.... But send a link if you've seen that, cuz it would certainly be an interesting plot twist!
@@_padfoot I could be incredibly wrong but I know that the Chinese reported it after they had so many falls. I assume that's what the problem was but I could be totally off.
@@dimestorepoet they actually reported it before the rotation but well nothing was done and people didn't care about it...probably what caused tang To be even more stressed since she was the first to point that out too
In my opinion all the world-class beam workers except Saraiva, McClain, and Ashikawa come from China. Well perhaps Listunova and Wevers but they aren’t here this year.
This is a phenomenal routine those skills are incredibly difficult that she did on the beam I felt bad about the dismount though But other than that she's awesome
Nice routine..but now all routines are all leaps and jumps. The Chinese really milked this CoP we rarely see exciting skills and routines as we did before, once I see a Chinese gymnast or even almost any gymnast I know what to expect, welp I don’t blame them guess blame it on this current CoP
True, but if they are performing these leaps and jumps as beautiful as Ou and in connection like her than I believe that this makes a truly beautiful routine, plus she does have one of the most difficult acrobatic combos in the field.
Crazy how even with the Komova on the dismount she outscored the entire competition by almost half a point
Hahahahahah you call that a Komova. I'm dead :')

@@nathan10120 yeah I got that 😂
NOT THE KOMOVA HAHA
I hope she can keep doing well in the AA and the beam final! She’s looking great!

I literally said wow out loud after she did it!!!
I am INFATUATED with her beam work!
Siempre a sido una gimnasta de bajo perfil en las competencias de su país, ya le toca brillar, espero de lo mejor en el AA y la final de viga

If only the other teams could learn to construct a routine.
I read it was raining on the beam during this exercise?
It was. They had to keep wiping the equipment down sometimes between routines. That's why everyone fell. :/

0:09 Was this intentional? She looks like she was in pain?
I think she was a little too far forward and started leaning. It looked like a balance check
It was probably a balance check but since she was following like a 6 fall rotation I wouldn't blame her if it was out of frustration
Beautiful. Just beautiful.
she is perfection. Chinese have the most difficulty and precision on beam. very light on their feet and technically unbeatable.

@@Plaspos lmao listunova a world class beam worker? That’s a joke
@@Bxyxox have you seen Listunova's switch ring? And her front series? Those skills are on par with the best Chinese gymnasts in their execution
Next year I hope she can add a split jump after the front tuck like in 2021 so then her SV would be 6.7, which would be unchallengable
Beautiful 😍
What is spectacular here is ... listening at gymnastics commentators in swedish 😂
What was her total score?
14.266 i think

The Chinese team looked so scared to compete, their faces spells fear
Or!! WATER ON THE BEAM!!!
ofc she falls on the finals whats new? disappointing.
Chinese girls still look best on the beam
If they can ever stay on anymore
