@@kushalpsv the character involved in the song has same VA as nahida (similar traits as well, short but old), but basically in the event story players tried saving her from being assassinated by going back in time multiple times but fails miserably every single time, this song was like the ED of the event
@@ohhimark9974 the problem is that they save her in the end (like in Steins;Gate btw). Idk why everyone feel sad from this, the story has a sort of happy ending.
I JUST REALIZED in the lyrics, when theresa sang "wasurete boku no koto wo" at the scene when nahida kneeled to the ground and cried after erasing rukkhadevata, really hits me it was right after the moment rukkhadevata was erased, and "wasurete boku no koto wo" means "please forget about me". Rukkhadevata's wish is to be forgotten by the world. bro-😭 edit: MOM I'M FAMOUS
Also, the scene that Rukkhadevata hug Nahida and Irminsul's light shine in front of Nahida, same time as the lyrics "Hikari ga Tsuyo sugi kara....." That's very big hit!!
This was the first time I was really emotional in Genshin. Ei saying "Goodbye Makoto" moved me. Many of the events (especially Lantern Rite) where beautiful. But this was the first time I really became emotional and felt my eyes wetting.
My first time being in actual tears over Genshin was when the looped Subzeruz was fully revealed and even the traveler was ready to punch some faces. Couldnt hit any of the emerites with ganyu because my sight was blurry as heck XD But this scene... dear god. This one hit hard.
The saddest thing is that only the Traveler remembers Rukhadevata. It actually made me cry silently. Farewell Rukhadevata, your deeds shall remain in my memory.
"May the people of sumeru dream the sweetest of dreams" These were the last words of GREATER LORD RUKKHADEVATA. T_T RIP you will be forever in our memories.
It was actually from Honkai Gakuen 2. It's Theresa's theme and describes her sadness after the death of Cecilia. Later, MiHoYo reused it for "The Day You Vanished with the Stars" event.
Nah. Kukkhadevata's touching final speech and the soundtrack "For Riddles, For Wonders" that really marked the scene was replaced by a random song that who knows where it came from. It just feels disconnected.

The song was already playing in my head before I clicked the video. I knew it, and it still made me tear up. dammit. I love the parallels on how they had to erase themselves from their world to save the ones they love.

I always thought there was something more than what we witness (same goes for Kevin, I'm pretty sure he's more complex than what we thought, after living 50k years). So, when Otto fell, I fell as well. The only time I grieved even more when playing both Honkai and Genshin, is when we said farewell to the flamechasers. "Because of you" hit me really hard. At least you save Kongming, and Otto didn't go out without accomplishing his goal. Su passed relatively calm, Hua and Kevin are still there, but Sakura? Pardo? Eden? Aponia? Kalpas? Kosma? Vill-V? Ely-freaking-sia? Details like those are the ones that make these soundtracks hit even more.

This scene makes me a little sad when I first saw it, and a moment later I though "well, Genshin is starting to show another face Buuuut, Honkai is the best when comes to touching scenes". In HI3, it was used in one of the most saddest and most loved events in the game which is "The Day you Vanished with the Stars" - In the event, the character that was highlighted was Zhuge Kongming whose character is based off Theresa Apocalypse. And since Nahida is also based off Theresa...... well you get the point. (The similarities doesn't end there. VA, color schemes, and even their personality is pretty much the same, hence the joke)
