Just to warm up the tires. Warm tires are safer in wet conditions!

It’s not the best product in the world and there are reports of it not lasting long. My car would still skid like that without the diff, so it’s a bit misleading. With the insert fitted, you still don’t get consistency from the axel loading, which can be a little dangerous at times. Because of this I would recommend you either weld your diff (not advised for road cars), get a plated diff like gripper, Drexler, OS giken etc (not Quaife or wavetrac), or not to bother at all.

How is this diff conversion holding up... Would you say its as good as a blackline or quaffe

That’s a resounding no! It’s only an enhancement in traction at this price point. It will never replicate an ATB or proper plated diff.

@@E12m535i Hey mate can you explain to me something about Lsd Diff does it make the car more controlled on high speeds and wet roads on high speeds especially when u are cornering does it make a rwd car safer like an awd...? Or its just a sport upgrade which doesn't help you in daily driving

    • @E12m535i

@@erikerik9613 This is not a straight forward question, as LSD's can be specced to work in several different scenarios with varying aggression. I am no diff guru, but here is my 2 pence worth.
Firstly, a proper LSD and these 'insert' types are not in the same ball park - I will base my reply on this insert type - seeing as that's why you are here.
The car will act like it does today in all but the most aggressive inputs. By that, I mean driving out of a junction normally you will not notice any improvement. It will even still spin 1 wheel in the wet. But with hard acceleration the diff will *try* to lock and give you more traction. It's actually safer to have an open diff in normal driving scenarios as the axel has no preload or tendency to try and lock, and therefore skid.
It would give some benefits to daily driving, and I would go as far to say that this is the only place this insert useful. But overall I wouldn't say it's worth the effort unless you can do the entire upgrade for sub £300.
