Ah yes, the Desert Phantom! Very light, very torquey and super easy to ride fast. You could go out on a day when you're not really feeling it and this bike would work with you to get you up to speed and riding fast in a few minutes. Amazing torque for a piston port engine. Pity the gearbox was made of mush! I did win a muddy 100 mile hare scrambles at Ft AP HIll in VA a long time ago with 2nd gear unusable. Just shift from 1st to 3rd every time and the torque would make up the difference!
Brings back great memories of riding Ossa's back in the 1970's.😊
