I see your method: it is to pick out the most unique and striking items, and to sell those individually, obviously with a full description. And to take the slightly less unique/valuable items, and to sell them in lots. This is obviously a good method: and I will do likewise!! 🙂👍
I would happily watch a 5 hour video of you just showing all your jewelry. I love shiny colorful things, I think I was a squirrel in a passed life or a bird lol
I steer away from those nicely staged lots. I prefer the chaos of the "pile". Seeing what you're getting all laid out leaves no room for that "OMG! Look what is in this mess"!😊
Hi Margaret, I am fairly new to your channel and have been binge watching. I love your style and humor! I have learned a lot and have started listing things instead of just reselling in a lot what I don't use in my own jewelry making. Thanks so much for the inspiration!!
I would be happy to get the necklace at 23:08 in a 10 piece lot if it was intact (couldn't tell). Check the earrings at 30:54 for a mark. They look like they could be vintage Hollycraft (not sure I'm remembering the name right, but one of my fav vintage manufacturers--especially with multi colored rhinestones. The gold looks a bit bright, but I'd check anyway. Great video, as always!
Check the large flower necklace at 35:43. It looks like a Kate Spade necklace. I’ve sold 2, for a very good price. She was known for her coral and red, large flower, metal necklaces. Thanks for the great tips! Always love your videos. 😊
I found this video extremely helpful. I am getting closer every day to getting up the nerve to start selling. And i feel like i owe you many, many thanks for so generously sharing so much of your hard earned knowledge. Just know that you have helped me along tremendously! Finding your channel has truly been a blessing. So thank you Margaret! May you be repaid 10 fold for your kind generosity💕
thank you so very very much for sharing how you sort through your jewelry. I often wondered how some of you sellers store and keep track of your products. I actually have a ton of jewels and junk and am so overwhelmed with what I have amast? spell check needed here. You are awfully generous in sharing your process. I wish you much prosperity and huge success for you and your family. BTW, I sure love Daniel
Awww Ms Vivian, I. Totally understand my craft room and desk top looks like chaos too, but I know where my things are. When. My family comes and help they want to organize my things...then I get totally lost, lol, so they know not to move things in there.....because when great auntie and auntie gets upset. No one is happy take have a blessed day my friend
Please DON’T EVER think you have to explain how your work room looks like. It’s a WORK ROOM not a show room. Only people who have too much time on their hands ( NO LIFE) have spotlessly clean rooms. Don’t listen to trolls who harp on about mess. Like you say, it’s organized lots. Love 💕 you’re videos, I can watch you for hours. Keep up the fantastic work and stay safe. ❤️
Yes, I agree with this. No one should ever feel like they have to explain why they have their own place the way they have it. What works for one person might not work for another and so on. She knows where things are and that's what matters. Everything doesn't have to be stacked or in place like a military home, its completely organized for how she feels works for her.
I love piled jewelry since I have chosen to repair items and keep them out of the landfills. The 10 item lot I purchased from you is beautiful and already tagged for resale.
Listen Margaret, if you could only see my little apartment and the mess I'm in with my "stuff" for resale, you would be proud of yourself that your area is in great shape compared to mine! Lol oh my!
Think the black stone in silver bracelet is made in India and listed as ethic sterling silver or plated sometimes, necklaces and bracelets etc sold on E bay from India are nice pieces - crafted by small artisan businesses- inexpensive to purchase from India and good quality that I’ve resold for $79 a few months back for a statement necklace:-) love from Cali..recently since covid I see they aren’t shipping to US right now or I was going to find more:-). Ok have a great weekend ms Margaret 🤗🥰
Ohhhhhh, I did enjoy your video very much! I def subscribed. Can we see all of the items that are in each 10 item lot? I am like you, I have boxes of jewelry. I would love to put them on eBay, but the taxes seem so hard to itemize. I don't even remember what I paid for most of them, and if I'm just trying to get rid of things, I would definitely take a huge loss. I'm on Social Security, and don't want to mess anything up. Would you please share how you deal with this issue? I actually watched the entire video while I was cleaning, and even let most add roll. I love what you're doing and I wish you all the best ♥
your process for selling makes sense lol it looks like most of that was filed like mine, put this here until later but then i get stuck because ehh later hasn't come yet. it seems like most every unbagging i've seen where there's been a belt about 8 out of 10 have acted like or said belts aren't jewelry. why not save them and do a belt lot, a lot of folks like metal /chain belts. i haven't gotten one yet in a lot, i'd probably only be annoyed if say my 5lb box had a heavy belt that was too trashed to sell., if it will make money why be mad? my gf got this signed belt in a shopgoodwill lot that had elephants, sold for 275.00. stay well
Does your sister sell her crafts, specifically her wind chimes she makes with glass? I’d be very interested see her work especially since I love everything you set aside to send to her.
Margaret, do you have any loose .925 silver beads or long tear drop shape dangles? I'm trying to find parts to make a match for a single earring which was lost. Thank you, I enjoy your videos.
Stumbled across your video and now I’m hooked 😊 so I have a question about your craft lots. I saw your box where you had a bunch or pieces and parts in there. Do you take the jewelry piece apart and separate them or do you just put everything in a bag and let your buyers take them apart? Also, I’m kicking myself right now because I had a ton of single earrings from a lot I bought and I just threw them away. I didn’t think they would sell and didn’t even think about crafts! 🤦🏼♀️🥴
The heart necklace looks like Terra Cotta color on my screen. Do you ever make a no sale pile? Like I'm thinking you must find things that are too beat up even for a craft lot or seem super super cheap?
@@TexasGalTreasures AWESOME thanks for the info. Love your videos. Can't wait for the next one. I hope you get to go to some yardsales soon. We had a great weekend in Tennessee. Many yardsales.
Those yellow trays - if people are responding to videos and asking for items from those videos, why not keep everything together from the same video, with the tray labelled with the date, for 1-2weeks ?? And then split them into categories like brooches etc
Some of that stuff you have already decided if you are going to sell or not - they have been in jewellery jars etc? Which means you are doing things twice - I did think you had a silver box as you always say you are going to put something in your silver pile? If you tried to stick to the "touch it once" philosophy you would find you could keep things tidier and more "findable". You are so busy that not repeating yourself would hopefully make your life easier!
Why 10 Items lot??? Why not just 3 items! Or 5 Items lot!!! You can make your bracelets and your necklaces in to many peaces, and make charms ,with them !And more earrings too! Sell more And make more funds I Beleave! Your Great at Takeing your time to e xplaine and share your Information!!! Smart ,charming ,funny at times too! Personalaty, too!! Keep sealing! You should see my eBay room🥴! I need a bigger space. You never have to explain your world💖! You ROCK and Thanks for sharing!
I would happily watch a 5 hour video of you just showing all your jewelry. I love shiny colorful things, I think I was a squirrel in a passed life or a bird lol
Margaret, you don't have to apologize for your house keeping. You do you and you're terrific!
I steer away from those nicely staged lots. I prefer the chaos of the "pile". Seeing what you're getting all laid out leaves no room for that "OMG! Look what is in this mess"!😊
I got my beautiful earrings today! I love them 😍
Organized Chaos = Life 🤷♀️ 😉 Yet again, you entertain, educate all with laughter and joy. You are a true treasure. TY

The cross is a paper weight / page holder. Think convent or rectory. Make sure you test for silver along with those huge bracelets.
Love your videos, your humor and your style! 😍 Every time you say "Mix Lot", I keep thinking, "Sir Mix-A-Lot" 🤣

The porcelain rose earrings @ 17:48 may be Haskell - I sold a pair for about $40.
Thank you so much for teaching us how to sort the jewelry!
Enjoyed watching this video good learning experience thanks

Thank you!!! That was a awesome video. I really appreciate you sharing your ways of doing things. Your awesome as always!!!
The hinged golden bracelet with sodalite is by Madewell :)
Your yellow bins from the bins are Akro bins, they have wall mounts. so you can store easily.
So very helpful Margaret! Thank you :-)
Great to see your process and good to know you also go back and forth on items! 😂😂😂😂 Some of my pieces are constantly going backwards and forwards!
So helpful, thank you!

I am new to your channel love your videos
GREAT EPISODE!!! VERY INTERESTING!!
I totally need those prisms. The cat got mine off my lamp and when I moved I never found them.
I am a coin jewelry lover also

Also, do you take them off the cards that they originally come on, or do you take them off?
If the cards detract from the piece, I take them off
Does your sister sell her crafts, specifically her wind chimes she makes with glass? I’d be very interested see her work especially since I love everything you set aside to send to her.
She hasn't yet...
P.s. your 10 item lot items look amazing!

So when you do your 10 item lots are they all the same thing like 10 bracelets etc ?
It's a mix
