Quality Guide TBH. Well done. Something i wanna note that you did was the pop ups for what the druid was doing that something watch can't really see is great. It really shows how everything is working together and helps anyone in any role. Nice job.
A short bullet point recap might be handy at the end, I know a lot of people I used to play with couldn't actually learn very easily from long explanations no matter how well articulated they were. But this was comprehensive. Oh and personally I've always wanted this sort of video for all the roles, as a dps player you can often ignore all sorts of mechanics but it'd be nice to know more about what the druid is doing or whatever else, like when the tides and entangle icons were shown for seekers. I know, asking a lot lol.
Awesome explanations, saying whats supposed to happen but also what you could do instead. Giving people a range of skills to try too Bit weird on the split phase that green circles is on blue and teleport is on green. you would think they match the colours to the mechanics
Don't chrono is nearly fallen completely out of meta.. druid is. Okay to be fair when you have a boss like here which doesn't run much and you doesn't need to doge a lot it is still fine.
I only ever done one raid in this game, and it was with my guild that's not a raid guild so only two or three people knew what to do. It was interesting, but I was playing power reaper necro. Not that good according to snow crows. Actually it seems like necro in general isn't good for raids. Now I'm working on a condi renegade revenant. It fits my play style so it's fun and I hope to get better chances at finding a team to raid. Need to get ascended gear all over again through.
necro is fine for raids, both power reaper and condi scourge. You will prob not be top dps, but you will also not be far behind. Look at teapots vids, he got a serie where he kills every boss as a power reaper (in pugs) and that was before the latest 2 or 3 buffs to power reaper.
Power reaper is pretty bad on vg tho, you lose life force if you are doing overheal from greens exploding, but on most bosses its fine, especially if your supports are bad,you have might and quickness by yourself.
You have to understand that if they buff reaper it would be broken in other PvE modes since it's already super tanky due to shroud. So if they buff its DPS even more it would be possible to solo champs in HoT without any skill
Great guid, even if I have killed him a lot of times in several classes this guid helped me a lot, because at the moment I am tying to get into chrono tank. Thank you to show how to tank it!
As a returning player Im struggling with newer bosses. I have 500 LI without a single Dhuum kill because nobody has love for me :D Guides for the more difficult bosses would be gud.
That's awesome guide man, thank you a lot! I really hope you will find some time for some other bosses or wings, that would be so much helpful for such beginner like me :)
Thx for this guide Mighty T! Don't ask me how but at 5min30 the splitfase, I was first time condi and ended up on the blue side.. but I did go to the red and had like not much trouble staying alive (Or we might have got a great druid xD)
it really sad that new players cant try raids because everyone only add "experienced" players. as a casual gw2 player since launch, everyone kicks me out as soon as i say its my firstime in raid. not to mention how rude raiders can get.
amazing thanks ! hope to see more guides :) what stats are u using to tank btw ? i use minstrel but im not sure if its still the best (i go diviner when i'm support, minstrel when im tank) thanks !
If I may ask how you get all the graphic effect to look so clean? I'm just getting into raiding and other then not knowing the fights is I can't pick up on the visual mechanics well as I am color blind. On you video I can see what is what so clear, is your GPU just that good or add on mod or anything other then the naive settings? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work and thank you.
@@MightyTeapot it helped a little still not as clean as yours but still it's better. No clue on how your rig is built but safe money says mine is not even close to yours. Thank you for the advice!
Thank you for this, would love to see a guide for each boss in Raids. Super helpful!
very approachable and down to earth guide that is also comprehensive for teaching the newbies how the boss works, not just how they should behave

Really nice use of icons / graphics. Simplified birds eye of view of the scene without the visual effects cluttering the screen
we are just starting a raiding noob group so this has been very helpfull to prepair for that. thanks
Same here!! GG :D
Prepare :3
Make sure to communicate alot! Hope you are having a blast like my group did when we got into raids
The editing on this one is really cool !!

I've been wanting to get into Support chrono but as I don't have muhc experience with higher end PVE, an updated guide would be awesome :D

Stop forcing yourself into exp/requirement/kp groups with no xp/kp/knowledge of mechs, comps, builds brainlet
Thanks
