This may sound cheesy but I’ve been a big monster high collector since 2010. I ended up having to give away my dolls because my parents said I’m too old for them back when I was a teenager. (I have strict Caribbean parents 😅) Anyways now I’m about to be 25 and I’ve been watching your videos for almost a year now. You made me realize that it’s okay to still be a doll collector and adults can still like dolls. So now I have a little collection again and I feel validated. So thank you and your videos always brighten up my day! 🖤
It's not cheesy, my folks tried to get me to get rid of mine too, I had a bunch of rare Barbies when I was a kid. I found MH when they first came out tho and never stopped collecting. I'm glad that you found the hobby again in adulthood ❤
Am I the only one who likes all three of them, I’ve already seen so much hate for them😭 I think their designs are really strong even with the skintight mini dresses that are often overused (drac is my fav so gorgeous)💕
I think this is my favourite line, usually I only get Draculaura but I am here for all three. I think the SS3 Neon Frights did Twyla compared to her G3 core doll. But I want all three SS5 leaked so far.
I think a middle ground for Venus’ hair would be to maybe make it shorter to save on the material being used but still give her the braids we all love. I think she could work short hair too.
They ate this line up but very quick to give venus straight hair i know it looks more like g1 but if shes confirmed black i expected to see like and afro or godess braids or just natural texture
I’m with you I need to see them in ppl’s hands to make an honest opinion. Every single SS line the stock photos I was like I want all of them! Then I see them when ppl get them and I’m like eh… plus that their hair is poly plus the bulky cases, and they never go on a good enough sale where I’m like ok I can’t justify even though some of the accessories I really wanted. This has the potential to be my favorite SS line so I hope they aren’t ugos in person but look like their stock images. They already got poly hair against them. If so I’ll probably complete this line. I usually get one in past lines. Cept the first who mostly had Saran hair though I did get Clawdeen in that line with poly cause I just loved her
Hi! My girls (3 & 5) and I absolutely love the casket that comes with these doll lines. It's amazing for organizing and storing the accessories and clothes. The quality of the monster high dolls are also improving with each gen that comes out whereas the quality for barbies seems to be digressing. Also we love watching your videos! Thank you! 💕
I’m not crazy about Twyla, something about her hair just isn’t it for me, I think I don’t like the side swept bangs on her because if feels like she has a big forehead
I hope to see Venus in another release that isn't SS. I'm so tired of those bigass plastic lockers. I just know those things are taking budget away from the actual dolls.
All 3 look good however I'm stalking the stores for Twyla cuz shes absolutely darling 🥰 Imma skip SS4 Drac and get this one instead. I'm not tryna do too much cuz I still want Spectra, fearbook Twyla, SS4 Cleo, and SS5 Venus. Thats 6 dolls right there 🤧 I recently got 2 Cattys, NF Toralei, CR Cleo, MF Frankie, SS4 Abbey and I'm not a completionist. I'm not tryna have my room overtaken 🤧
I’m glad everyone is positive about this release but I honestly don’t like any of them. They just seem kinda meh, especially for $30. They’re definitely worth that price but they just don’t appeal to me.
i just dont like twylas hair!! shes my fav so im so upset i probably wont get her unless irl pics are better :(( I'm thinking if i can fix the side part i might get her, i just dont like that its giving very much g2
i do believe Venus is also the only one with no reuse at all from former mh dolls be they g1-2-or 3. She at the very least got her style back, why does G3n 3 have so much boho influence in terms of styling? Especially when they were all at the very least glitter goth and or punk??? I am very glad, though, that Venus looks fierce and not boho chic since i felt even her first wave and g3n 3 signature doll had. I pray their hair is not poly, use kanekalon hair or even nylon if you cannot afford (which is crazy saying a company no TOP FORTUNE 500 CORPORATIONS ON THE PLANET ACTUALLY, THEY ARE ALL about PROFIT rather than pleasing their fans, even the skullector dolls were extremely flawed and the boo-riginal, creep-production, dolls variate more than the cheap 3025 reboot or rereleases back in production wouldn't Mattel plays like they do not have real money to seriously work with a budget and nail these dolls closed I am also outright tired of not being able (esp with MH and al the flaws not just related to hair or wonk eye either, Mattel needs to show the doll to reassure and give us the benefit of choice between hair, face-up, body, etc. to compre while shopping.
