Glad you finally played vitals, this is unarguably one of the best mods for creating an atmosphere and the sounds are pretty good. and there is also a seperate project called Vitals All Polos by llama_in_brown, in the project there is every polo's lore and statuses which is pretty cool.

So it means something about the esper enterprises, or the lore of this mod that esper enterprises is a place or hospital, that works on victim's or patients, and makes them into something "new", and is behind something evil. Who knows.
Orin Ayo and Optophobia are both other horror/spooky themed mods. I’d say Orin Ayo is probably the creepiest/most disturbing compared to Vitals and Optophobia.

I've made some lore to this mod: Effect 1 is a mad surgeon with a twisted interpretation of art who disguises as a regular surgeon but rather than fix his patients (which would be every other effect, vocal, beat, or melody) he brutally mutilates them and performs inhumane experiments on them. He has also been known to experiment on other medical staff, turning them into his "assistants" if they would get suspicious of his behaviour and investigate... He has previously during the beginning of his career experimented with bringing the dead back to an optimal state and currently brings his dead patients back to life as unwilling slaves in constant pain.
