This is worse, she *wasn't* even a member of the HOA board since *none* of them *apparently* knew who she was. She was just some random power tripping nobody throwing her weight around.
generally, the idea is that the smaller the group, the more strict the rules can be. Let's say that You've got five options, 1-5. If federal only bans 1, state can ban 2-5, but 1 is still banned under federal. There are exceptions, such as when fed SPECIFICALLY states that something is allowed (such as the 2nd amendment).
The police aren't there to enforce HOA rules or act as bullies for entitled people that don't get their way. They are there to enforce the law. The law the HOA was breaking by calling the police and filing a false report.
It's weird how HOA Karens and Darrens don't know how property values work, and they are usually the reason why neighborhood values go down do to being the "village idiot".

I can understand the Karen in the first one packing up and moving - when you're trying to enforce things and you're not even on the HOA board? The board would very carefully inform her that they can prove she's not on the Board and that any lawsuits she gets will be hers alone to deal with, and that she seemed to be aiming for millions in damages with all the people she was harassing, she might want to think if she could afford to pay all that, since the HOA wouldn't have any reason to be involved, except on the side of those suing HER.

HOAs are like anchovies on your pizza. Very few people want them and most are avoided.
Just so we're clear: serial killers don't typically hunt in their 'home territory', so definitely a Karen next door is worse.
