Hold off the rival gang who want their Gatling Gun back.
Challenges for 100% sync:
Do not take any damage.

This mission reminds me of the tank mission in Brotherhood in regards to the hell of taking no damage doing something intense
Isn't there an easy method in the last part where you can shoot stuff from outside the synchronization barrier? Apparently you won't desynchronize if you stay close to the edge.
Thank you, this is the assassin's creed game I was going to end with no matter what, but I didn't want to end it under 100% completion. I was pulling my hair out, but you saved me, and I love the channel. You're extremely good at explaining exactly what you need to do, and you have a way of speaking in a reassuring tone while doing it, which is needed if someone is looking on RUclips for advice. Thanks again.
This is a terrible mission if you're trying for the 100% completion. It's all down to luck as far as I can see. It's like Revelations' Den Defense all over again, only more frustrating and with far longer reload times.

+Ian C not really all you have to do is wait until you hear the bullet hitting some metal then look at your target beihind cover then get out over cover shoot then repeat
TheProGamer That only works if you have only one enemy shooting at you. If you have two or more, they don't shoot with any sort of routine that you can calculate. If you get three people shooting at you, you may as well give up.
the worst mission! i can not get 100% on it no matter how many tries i try....im totally over it, im useless at it. tge reload time on top of it is way too long also!

I know my comment comes like a year after the game has been out but I only started playing this game recently so sorry for the late post. Anyhow, Hullo Mr Gatling 100% was hard enough that I ended up here looking for advise. After completing this mission I realized its not so bad if you do what everyone says. Another thing that you need to know: There are a few auto saves you can reload to make the mission alot easier. The hardest part is the beginning where you cant take any damage. If you make it to where the train starts moving without taking damage you will have completed the objective and you will have access to the first auto save. The next objective and the rest of the mission is relatively easy. Goodluck :)

So, while watching the video, I finally noticed the cover option (like what saved you from damage from the planes while behind the Gatling gun in Unity during the Rift missions). It's good to exploit; when you get overwhelmed, just go into cover, place the enemy you wanna kill next in the middle of the screen, then pop out once or twice to get them to fire & make sure your cross-hairs are on them, then pop out again to finish them off. When they all pile on the screen at the end, just go into cover until the bonus objective pops ^^ I got it on the first try after watching this video and putting two & two together on that one :)

Play it on PC. Aiming with mouse was the easiest way to win this mission. The enemies didn't even get a chance to fire a single bullet at you as your aiming would be godlike precision. Aiming with gamepad just simply shite.
Its i think the hardest one, but it is possible to do, use the crates and take headshots.
After 6 times u know where theye are coming from 😁

I got this on my third try best way is to get cover and aim camera at the enemy so when you back to shooting your aim is already at the enemy

How do you aim?
+TheGaming Husky well while you in cover you can move camera near the enemy so when you back at the gun you just shoot depends how good you will estimate it because the crosshair doesn't show up while you in cover.

Red Dead Redemption 1 & 2 already did this. I want to see this in an Old Western AC game. People say it wouldn't work but AC Syndicate is still a thing.

Thank God I finally did it. This take no damage was stupid. They’d keep shooting non stop. Like 0 time to pop up aim and shoot or at least aim then take cover then pop up to shoot. Like as soon as I’d stay popping up I’d get shot.

Alex,is ACS have something like Cub Competition like ACU....? I saw some Ubisoft club from your video.... I mean,is there locked stuf...do players need to be online to unlock some gears etc??? Thank you very much... sorry for bad english,i hope that you got the point

I am on - no joke - my 20th mother fucking try for this god forsaken mission! I am not the best gamer so yeah, I know that it's a little bit my own fault - but seriously! This mission is fucked up! How is it ever acceptable for someone to have to try over 20 fucking times to complete a mission at 100%?! How is that okay?! This is the first AC game I've ever played, and yeah, I've completed it - not at 100%, but it's done. If this is the way that all the AC games are...well I'm glad I never bought any of the other ones.
The load time for this game, and for this bit in particular, is toooooooo fucking long.
Late comer to this game and by chist is it shit. Optional objectives completely ruin the immersion.
