It's a bit of a pity because I believe that she could have left the name out and Greg would have guessed it because of the Wang. Considering both Phil's surname and his costume in the series.
I think she tried to be too clever, first bending the rules with the instrument of choice, then by writing out the name. The taskmaster doesn't like that.

I think it's just because Paul is known as a trivia master and Alex thought it amusing to demonstrate that he would give the answers without even being distracted
I was at the filming for the episode, and Alex mentioned that Paul was very quiet so he was trying to get him to talk a bit more. This was followed by Alex revealing a secret task just for Paul involving talking, and finding out that only he had to do it left Paul most annoyed. I can give details on the task if you want.

Lou is so god damn competitive on this show, on one hand it's quite fun to see her try to beat the system (as she did in this case) but in another sense it's a bit cringy when she gets all upset for not getting the points she wants because yeah she "drew" the word PHIL and a dick.
Lou's loophole and subsequent drawing was one of her better moments, but then acting like she deserved more points for obviously not doing a very good portrait? That's where she lost me.
Greg looked genuinely shocked at her reaction. Can't help contrasting it with how he responded to James' "open the box", taking a half second to put on an expression of obviously playful puzzlement/annoyance. No sweet/fun improv moment was going to happen here.
