You're welcome . . 😎 😎 😎
What a darling idea!!! Thanks so much for sharing
These are awesome! I'd use the clear and leave them on the wax paper! It's so cool looking! I know they'd come off the craft mat more easily but I wonder about deli paper or parchment paper. Thanks so much for sharing!!
Cool idea Poodle Mama ;) thanks for sharing ! xoxo
love this idea Stacy, brilliant! x
Thank you Stacy I will have to try this. I love to experiment
Could you use the thin ones made from homemade paste as a substitute for egg shells in a mosaic?
Yes! I think you absolutely can! What a great idea! :)
What about using a layer of matte mod podge first? Then you could use the smaller stencils and it would peel up as a sheet instead of tiny bits.
The paste would stick to the mod podge. But if you have a craft mat, you can just do it on there :)
Great idea!! Thanks for sharing!♡
Great idea!!! You can make roses and other flowers from the flat texture pieces.
Awesome idea! Love ur videos! :)
Thank you for this idea! Looks fun to do! Tfs
Wow, awesome idea Stacy!!!
Waaaaay cool Stacy!!! Definitely gonna try this one!!! Tfs!
Hugs Marsha
I have never played with texture paste, but your videos are making me want to go out and buy some.
Great Stacy! Going to be trying this!
I will have to start getting me some more stencils. And thanks for all the great tips. GIVE trigger a hug for me.
Cool idea Stacy!!
Awesome idea
Love that idea..
Hello Stacy :) Looks like some fun :) You could try parchment paper, that may release better than the wax paper :) tfs, and I hope you have an Outstanding Day :) amy
Do you think you could color Plaster of Paris and use it with a stencil directly on a journal cover?
That's great I use everything & try to throw away nothing.
Could you do the clear ones on a glass mat?
Great idea! Btw, the 3D gel got stuck b/c it’s a glue not a texture paste. Try Rangers’s transparent gloss texture paste. And again, thanks for this vid!
Actually it is a texture paste, its meant to use as either.... it gives a nice matte transparent texture through a stencil which is why they have it in gloss and in matte. If you look up how its used from the company you will see it is actually both a glue and a texture paste :) The fact that it didnt stick is because it doesnt have the tooth of other tex pastes and the tooth from other tex pastes make it better for adhering to things, even wax or parchment papers and because its not as porous and more smooth than others, it comes off easier.
its also awesome for doing 3d resist techniques. put it through a stencil on the background and then add other sprays and inks over it and it resists awesome leaving behind a clear yet 3d texture :)
Where did you get your stencils?
Honestly, I dont remember... I got a lot of mine from the creative reuse and some are decoArt. But Ive also gotten some from walmart and I think the ones Im using in this video are walmart stencils :)
Cool!
