- Plateup is if overcooked and cooking mama meshed together and made a roguelike, you create a restaurant as a group and have to survive to your 15th day. If a single customer is un happy, the whole restaurant closes down.
This was recorded during one of my recent livestreams over at / skoottie

Gavin: * experiencing breakfast-induced psychosis *
Skoottie in the back: "Yes I do the cooking, yes I do the cleaning"
Eggs with barbecue sauce would make more sense if you ate it with rice, and went for an Asian savory route (like omurice),
Paired with a sweet breakfast like pancakes or waffles, I think barbecue sauce is a pretty weird addition.
eggs w/ bbq goes hard at anytime 💯
Crying laughing at the Mimi & Pepe discussion
Talking about grandparents here’s my names for my grandparents
Oma (German grandma) and Poppie
Milana and Pops
GG (Grandma Gail) and Grandpa
Grandma and Grandpa Clay
And lastly Jim and whatever his gf name is at the time.
Someone tell gng that there is an antique store called "Mema had one" in Georgia.
Nice serve!
I agree that PlateUp can get easier with time, but OT20 is pretty early to call it! It does consume a hell of a lot of time to build up to higher OTs, but fully automated kitchens in OT50+ are very interesting monsters. The game becomes a weird mix of manual details and fine-tuning serve throughput.
Always fun to see you two play!
As a Floridian I’m putting my money that Skootie is from FL. Fan of Waffle House, from the South but no Southern accent. I see you bro 😉
He's from one of the Carolinas, can't remember which one.
@@kobold_sushi_executive_chef I think I remember him saying that at some point.
NC/FL what’s the difference?
i feel like he has like the slightest slightest southern accent
@@XeonAlpha Florida has barely any Americans, at least the southern area.
@@XeonAlpha it’s mainly Hispanics
Always love y’all playing plate up! Super cool setups and fun commentary!
And as a former waitress: we don’t want people all-you-can-eating pasta because it means a slower table turn and therefore less money - unless they’re tipping like crazy (which probably not if they’re having all-you-can-eat pasta 😂)
First name sweet baby ray, last name barbecue sauce
Also, this video was absolutely pogged from start to finish. What an ending!
42:00 You made it too hectic, so you never did anything with the cabinets.
imagine if Gavin still went "sloppy greased up ankle-high with earth apple" by OT20
No way, dude! I thought you were gonna make it! That made me so excited at the end
I dont think that last serve was possible but he made it look possible anyway
I say granny or Grannyma because I thought it was cute im not sure if my granny likes Grannyma 😅 I’ll have to ask her
Gng moving stuff around while Skoottie is trying to set something up stresses me out to no end
He's obviously a nice guy but that would tilt me so much it'd fracture any relationship I had with him tbh 😂
alright, I'm from a very small town in Arkansas. I'd say South Arkansas, near Texas, is very "Yeehaw." I've heard Grandmama, Grandma, Mimi, Mem-maw, me-maw, Maw-maw, Naw-nuh, Grannie, Nannie, Grandpapa, Grandpa, Papa, Paw-Paw, Pe-paw, Paw-pul, and even some Spanish variants. I can't recall the specific Mexican names I've heard, but there are a few.
My dad's parents were "Grandpapa and Grandmama". My mom's parents were "Mem-maw" and "Sam" (he's a step-grandpa), and mom's grandma was alive for a long time, so we called her "Maw-maw". My Nieces and Nephews call my mom "Naw-nuh", my dad was "Paw-Pul" (their step-grandpa), and my siblings' dad was called "Papa." Also, my nieces and nephews called my brother, "Booba", and I'm "Auntie". Usually, when they call for me using auntie, I'll respond with "Whatie?" lol
I’m a little sad that this run was over. However, all good things must come to an end sometime. Good run
My mother-in-law mandated that we call her memaw around our kids. My father-in-law is Pepaw. While my parents are Grandmama and Grandaddy.
Wow shout out to me 😂 I caught the stream but I think I’d had to get off at this point so I definitely didn’t order!
I always die some time between OT day 5 and day 10. Usually that's when I just manage to get some things automated, but it's still too late for the number of customers I'm getting.
grandparent talk:
including names for all extended family we have
grandmothers: grandma, nana, gram-gram, mamo, mamina, grama
grandfathers: grandpa, pop-pop, papa [name], papo
1:03:08 teleporters work both ways, just send it back through #2
Christmas maps had fast conveyors, should be able to mod those in easy.
Not by me, but like Skootie said, just change one number!
Already in a mod called Automation Plus :)
those ones are able to be spawned in, once you place them they become immovable
39:30 talking about homophobic Chinese people and I'm reading Novelupdates BL 😅
skootie talking about eggs with bbq sauce and i literally did that this morning for the first time
Yoo this is the earliest I’ve been in a while
the gongong popo and yeye mama total canto represent lolll
Noooooooo the run is over
So here's the funny thing my son calls one of his grandma Mema & his grandpa is Yeye so now the rest of the kids call them that too now lol
Am I the only one that calls my aunt Nene and then her first name
Also I call my grandma gee (it's Welsh for grandma) (I am not Welsh)
metal tables
Kool. A hokkien speaker.
where can i find this mod?
For me it's gran and grandma, it just makes life easier having two different names
first
Most wholesome southern linguistic to pick up is y'all, because Y'ALL MEANS ALL
My northern mother refused to let me use y'all but I still picked it up basically as soon as I left the nest because it's just so much more inclusive that addressing a group as "GUYS", and wonderful for addressing people whose gender I wasn't sure of because I know several agender folks who don't like using singular they because it makes those individuals feel icky.
I can't go "hey dude" cuz not a dude
I can't go "hey girl" cuz not a girl
"Hey y'all" is great for everyone
I call one of my grandmothers Nanny and the other Gramma
Maybe they get the leftover pasta at the end of the day
When will we see more Pokémon encryption because that and A to Z is the best series lately
He's likely done with Pokémon Inscryption since he beat the Elite 4 & Champion; I don't think there's exactly a post game or goal after that point
@@nick_reznee_shorts im late, but Skoottie could do something like grass type only
Maybe! But I don't think it meaningfully influences gameplay, since types didn't impact play style much.
It'd be more likely for him to try out some speedruns or something similar for a challenge
@@nick_reznee_shorts even that would be another video
I've said since day 1, that this game is too easy
Bei trymacs viel geiler😅
Noti gang
The Gavin guy, rearranging every day and trying to micro manage but just making it all painful and harder and skoottie shutting him down like a dad to his child, everytime.
wait what is the difference between scrambled egg with cheese and omelette? i thought they were the same thing
how its prepared. an omelette normally has the extra ingredients (like chesse or w/e) mixed in with the egg and cooked into one solid mass. scrambled eggs are normally egg cooked while being stirred so its a bunch of pieces and the extra stuff added to that on top
Scrambled you mix the ingredients in, but in an omelette the ingredients are put in the center and the whole thing is folded in half. I personally like scrambled eggs, so omelettes are inferior in my books, but some people prefer them.
Wouldn't the portioner work off the danger hob? Like leave the wok and eggs on there and portion off it and it will automatically refill and cook when empty.
I believe the worry was that it would burn and set the entire restaurant on fire.
@@Blueeyesthewarrior I forgot about that. So the setup, might be the same as soup then.
