Well, I will say that when there is any situation involving a Tier 1 team, like Green Beret, Seal Team 6, Delta, 75th Rangers, or any high level Special Forces teams they have to be quiet about it since they are groups that operate on secretive missions.
The scary thing is even the Bible has mentions of giants in it. Goliath being the most known one but there are others. There are also people that have the birth defect of growing a 6th finger, but I can’t remember what the medical term for it is.
