I'm 31 years old. I've finally learned how to make a budget and eliminate my debt shortly, it took a failed(thank god) suicidal attempt for myself to learn more about mental health, I still know jack shit about investing, I always feel like i'm behind and confused when it comes to politics and the implications, I'm still learning about nutrition and how to properly take care of my body... BUT THANK GOD I KNOW HOW TO RECITE THE ENTIRE PERIODIC TABLE! Thank you school...
@@CookiePire Let me give you a nice tip. Get a solid education that enables you to jump into 9 to 5 whenever you need to. Build safety capital (2 years expenses at least). Start enterpreneurship. In this order.
Finally you’re getting the momentum you truly deserve, your content here on RUclips is brilliant and I love watching it. Congrats on 100k, and here’s to the next 100k 🥂 ❤️ ya Krispy.
LOVE THIS!!!! You make it so easy to understand. I set up an account and invested after your first video. Still trying to understand it but getting there. It’s like a different language!
Im a registered rep with 20 yrs exp in financial services. Well done. Only asset class you didnt hit on was the bond market, but your audience is young AF, so I get it. no need. Props Krispy.
Great video man. I am really liking how you are turning the stock market and investing into a more digestible and less threatening topic. Could you discuss taxes when it comes to lets say TD-Ameritrade and having to file them and what to do/how to do it? Thanks.
I really liked this video. Please make more. Also i believe you should suggest IPOs to people because they can be very good for short term investment but are also risky, people shouldnt invest in amazon and apple because they dont make you much money. Also apples stock is pretty overpriced because they are not worth as much imo..
I should really take stock in everything you're saying! :). Haha no but quick question what do you think about apps that connect to your bank and round up your purchases to the nearest dollar and use that money to invest for you? (Apps like acorns). Is it better to use a different service than these. I like it because it takes very little effort and does all the work for you but not sure if it's the best allocation of my funds for long term (I've been using acorns for around 2 years now). Edit #2: another question what about investing in real estate over stocks - better investment? depends on the area? just curious to know your opinion since you mentioned people buying houses and them being more valuable over time in the video.
i personally only look at my portfolio once in a month and that is when i buy. i buy every month once i receive my paycheck. never been too bothered by the fluctuating prices, i just put faith in my portfolio and keep adding more✌️
I don’t think compound interest is the best term to use when talking about stocks, it’s used mostly when talking about loans or savings accounts that have constant rates, unlike stocks.
When you are kid you have your Parents, when you are an adult you have Krispyshorts, he explains you everything: how to stay safe from Coronavirus, explains the stockmarkets!etc thank you
I swing trade in td ameritrade, tech stocks under $50, a few that are low market cap, but most are fortune 500 companies who just bounce between a low and high every couple months. I go with fundamental direction (things that keep going up slowly) and also buy for corrections, if dell gets slapped by 8% because they lowered their earnings forecast, it'll probably correct by at least 5% in the next 1.5 months. Krispy is right btw, day trading will kill you, it's so unbelievably hard, even if you're winning on a day trade, some Saudi Arabian oil exec will tweet something to his twitter of 10k followers and it'll pile drive half the stocks that have any connection at all to oil (way more stocks that your think are directly connected to things like oil, natural gas, the Chinese economy) and your day trade turns into -2.3%
That was so interesting and helpful. I have no idea about the stock market, only got 12 more years until retirement when the New Zealand government gives me a pension which is not asset tested at 65 years old regardless of whether I still work or not. 👍😊. My 2020 goal is to buy stocks so we can achieve a passive income through dividends in retirement. I have no idea where to start, should we use a broker and how do I pick a good one?
you got this girl! brokers will charge you but its not a bad place to start just make sure they dont rip you off. understand his fees and how he makes money
incredible, incredible video. honest to god i learned more from you than in my college economics class. your sense of humor is iconic, and slipping in that "thats what she said" line..... god i love you, krispy.
Loved every second of the video! I made an Excel sheet to track stock prices of public companies that I think are promising. I learned a lot without having to invest money. I’ve been learning a lot on my own since you made the first video. I’m going to start investing my money very soon :)

How much do you recommend putting in?
I don’t think compound interest is the best term to use when talking about stocks, it’s used mostly when talking about loans or savings accounts that have constant rates, unlike stocks.
It’s a great term to use and applies to the market just the same. Stocks will always have good returns, you just gotta be patient.
Should someone find someone to help them invest or just go it alone?
