The title "사랑 하자" is actually EXO's group slogan, and Suho choosing it to be the name of his first ever solo title track just gives a little insight to his loyalty to EXO and EXO-Ls
"Let's Love" is Exo's slogan? I wasn't even aware that they had one. What you typed in Hangul also means "Let's Love"?
@@aunjanuegillis4653 maybe slogan isn't the right word - but the way other groups say "fighting", EXO says "saranghaja" which was decided by the team to use a term w love behind it

I'm happy you found your way to liking SM's music. I feel like SM has a certain reputation when it comes to their title tracks. SM loves making weird title tracks. The songs are hard to digest sometimes but the thing is when you finally get used to it one suddenly realizes how good SM's music actually is. You suddenly hear all the small details they put in a song and its stimulating and it sounds different each time you hear it. So you never get tired of it.
Yes so true. No matter the amount of hate, SM has the best music out there. Their artists are also just top notch. With excellent music production team and the best artists, its no longer surprising that they have one of the best songs in kpop.

That's not exactly true they only like to experiment occasionally, for EXO the only semi-experimental songs they've had have been Lotto (the auto tune was intentional) and Kokobop. Everything else they've put out has been top tier and very likeable and memorable, and everyone knows sm groups have the most impressive discographies (red velvet exo shinee fx)
@@anahann8557 ever since their debut, I feel like exo had always uhm like songs that are kind of experimental and not really the general public's taste ( take MAMA for example) and their b-sides are all killers.

People forget but Suho himself said multiple times that the title 사랑 하자 means not just exo's slogan, but "하자" means "flaws" in korean and the song is also about a person who’s hurt, meets another and tries to love again

Starry Night touches my soul 💛💖💛
사랑하자 is the team shout that EXO uses instead of saying 화이팅 as they want to cheer themselves on with connotations of love rather than "fighting", in their own words. It's also used between EXO and EXO-Ls. For Suho, the leader, to use it as the name of his title track for his solo debut has a lot of meaning and is very sentimental.

tbh,, suho's album is such a work of art. he was inspired by van gogh's series of self portraits- and prior to that he was never aware of the appeal of visual art- but the series moved him. the way van gogh chose to depict himself through his life- the best and the worst. ngl when suho released let's love i wasn't,, like very impressed ? i know exo does rock ballads well and it wasn't anything really outwardly revealing to be distinctly suho. but in the process of listening to the other songs.. i broke down. he talks about the moon tilting in his song starry night- and that's a reference to the way that the moon in starry night in person truly looks. he talks about two people needing each other for oxygen and the feeling of nostalgia being the thing that makes us cry, not sadness. and it's really revealing to the kind of person he is- he played a part in all of it, the writing and the music and the album design it's all him, painting himself the only way he can- through music. please, even if you don't react to it- please listen to it. the live versions or the studio version, whichever. i believe that we all deserve to let ourselves listen to art like this.
I am so proud of Suho!! This whole album is absolutely beautiful and it is different from typical ballad songs since he had a band. I think it is really nice to see the rock element. I said he listened to a lot of rock in the last months to get into it more. I do love ballads (especially Chen's albums and now Suho's album) but I understand your opinion on them too. I am glad you liked his song though :) I do agree with you on liking the song more than the mv lol

I really love suho voice. I melted when I first heard this song in the train on my way home.. he is amazing 😻 this is added to my playlist in fact all of his songs and exo ones as well

Like the classic romantics, SUHO uses his confident and comforting voice, focusing on emotion, nature, beauty and imagination. Many songs are inward-facing, blending the artful pop of Keane or Coldplay to good effect on tracks like “O2” and “Let’s Love”. And when it come to affairs of the heart, “For You Now” ticks that box, him and Younha locked in a close embrace with breathtaking results.
This song in particular really hit home for me, especially after witnessing everything they've been through as a group.
Suho’s voice do have a delicate voice, but if you’ll watch his musical performance (the man who laughs) his voice is powerful

I'm used to never really like ballads just like you but Suho's whole album made me melt! I loved it so much and that is how I know the songs and the album are just AMAZINGLY GOOD!

Suho is very underated artist Junmyeon have a very intersting tone very suit for musicals the concept of the album and mv is portrait because he is fan of vicent van gogh ,smt really did the barely in the mv, the album is excellent
Suho wrote all the songs in the album and he wrote the songs Let's Love, Made In You for EXO-Ls and he gave the title his main song "Saranghaja (Let's Love)" the slogan of EXO
In Suho's MV they use the slight blue hue and almost every scene has either clear reflections and all that to symbolise water since that's his power in Exo so it really is a bit of an homage to us
I absolutely adore him and the album is beautiful my favourites is Made in you and starry night and especially the live versions with the band is incredible!
At first, I honestly felt like the song is not my favorite but the more I listen to it, the more I like it

Let's Love is really good but O2 is an amazing song, really gorgeous instrumentals and vocals. The whole ep is well worth a listen. Suho's voice is indeed very sweet and easy to listen to and he really hit it out of the park with his debut solo album.
