I've been so busy I've missed a few episodes! Now I get to catch up! Loving this one. Just something I've been thinking about: a toxic relationships doesn't have to be romantic. It can be a friendship, your relationship with your parents, your relationship with the internet, etc. I feel like all of these pinpoints in the video can be applied to all of these. The intimacy changes per relationship but it's still there. For example some parents are very giving in the cuddles, kisses and hugs department while some are not. My mother and I don't hug, we may have an awkward side hug at the end of visits but that the extent of our intimacy. That defines a boundary in our relationship. Is it toxic? No! But it's nice to take these pinpoints and see how your relationships are doing. Like a doctor's checkup. 😊 Can't wait for the next vid!
Great topic! I was thinking about this a lot recently and also like Lilian said in previous comment, about family toxic relationship. I think it is even more difficult to get out of it because you are connected in many ways. I am living with my father and my sister and I have a feeling that they are always asking something from me or borrowing money and I am control freak and I just can't say I won't give you money because then I start thinking how will they cope without it and I have problems sleeping and in the end I am bound to them because I am waiting for them to start earning their money and to be less dependant on me but then I know that I am also restricting myself from living my own life and enjoying it more because I don't have any money left or I am always trying to help them with something...
