I find the term “cis gendered” offensive. Don’t call me a cis gendered woman, I am simply a WOMAN. I was not “assigned” my gender at birth by a doctor. I’m gay. I admit that I don’t 100% understand Trans issues. I also do not understand why -cis needs to be said in regard to biological male and females. I thought we said trans- male or female to denote a trans person. No extra words needed to differentiate biological males and females.
Using the word biological to describe yourself to a trans person is denoting that they're not human. Trans people are human and have biology. So we use the word cisgender, cis means on the same side as. So you're gender identity is on the same side as your assigned gender. Trans means on the other side so trans people's gender identity is on the other side of their assigned gender.

Trying to do hormone therapy to enlarge breast or decrease muscle mass is very big in that community, as well as very expensive. Gender reassignment surgery is expensive as well. A lot of them forgo it for that reason, they simply can’t afford it.

A lesson in biology: after age 35 obstetrics will give a pregnant woman a blood test for disabilities. I was 37 and pregnant, had the blood test and they were able to tell that the baby was a girl based on a blood test. Not only does genitalia signify gender but blood does too.

In the IVF process, embryos can be stored and genetic tests are done to find out the gender and if there is a presence of chromosomal abnormalities like down syndrome or trisomy. If the embryos are boys and girls, then she has the option of having either, but some people only make one gender. I find the term “cis gendered” offensive. Don’t call me a cis gendered woman, I am simply a WOMAN. I was not “assigned” my gender at birth by a doctor. Nature determined my gender.... and if you really want to get technical, gender is determined by genetics. Using the word biological to describe yourself to a trans person is denoting that they're not human. Trans people are human and have biology. So we use the word cisgender, cis means on the same side as. So you're gender identity is on the same side as your assigned gender. Trans means on the other side so trans people's gender identity is on the other side of their assigned gender.

Trying to do hormone therapy to enlarge breast or decrease muscle mass is very big in that community, as well as very expensive. Gender reassignment surgery is expensive as well. A lot of them forgo it for that reason, they simply can’t afford it.
He was removed from being the "face" of Sigma's national youth auxiliary because he has been accused of sexually abusing minors. They'd have been wrong to leave him in that position.
