Thanks for always adding great capabilities to Resolume and Wire! I'm still on the edge of my seat for an Audio Input patch in Wire! Every release I check for it :)

Audio is quite a bit away.
We are focussing on 3D and Resources at the moment.

Patches are now actually in the video description - apologies for the delay!

Are the performance issues with slice inputs in Wire fixed as well?

Great improvements. Regarding the Wire presets, I understand that they are saved as part of the Wire patch. Is it possible to create and share presets for an already compiled Wire patch?

Yes, I've been waiting for a meaningful adjustment regarding the preset functions for a very long time.
We will now see whether ResolumeB.V. really paid attention to everything (see my own comment/questions).
I also wished a long time ago that the currently activated preset would appear in the preset list with a bold dot in front of the name. I often make 15-40 presets, some with only minor differences, and when I'm live performing at an event, I sometimes no longer remember which preset I had just activated in some Clips/Effects&Generators!
This marking was probably not introduced.
      What do you think Mowgli?,
Well and thanks for your quick response today on VJunio, with only the best wishes & greetings by bennoH.🐼

      - You can save presets in Wire and in Arena
      - You see all presets from Wire and Arena in the preset menus of Wire and Arena
      - You can recall all (Wire- and Arena-) presets with Arena
      - You can only save and delete Arena-presets with Arena
      - You can recall only Wire-presets with Wire, but you can delete all (Arena- and Wire-) presets with Wire
      - Compiled patches include all presets, those made with Aren and those made with Wire
      - If saving presets for a compiled patch, those will be saved for that compiled patch, not for the original Wire patch

i hope we can have a stinger transition in next update... like vmix stingers

We are working on an update for the Wire that will allow you to dynamically load files. This will open up te door to stinger-style transitions. I'll keep this use case in mind for sure!

Question about the new presets function in Wire! 1. If I create presets in Wire, e.g. for a generator patch, open Arena and make changes to the preset settings there and save them in Arena, will I find these changes later in Wire? 2. If I set the previously mentioned generator with the one preset in Arena to a smaller clip, make completely new settings in the generator iptions and save it with a new name in Arena, this new preset will later be available in exactly the same way in Wire and available? 3. Now I have created 2 presets, one in Wire and then one in Arena and when I open this generator patch again in Wire it is compiled as an Arena/Avenue plugin and the two presets are in the .cwired, i.e. the compiled result Arena with saved and retrievable? 4. If I now open the Arena plugin (.cwired) and supplement the two presets with 3 new presets, I can now find all 5 presets in Wire, i.e. the outgoing patch, including the 3 created in .cwired. At least that's how it should all be if a sensible workflow was followed. With only the best regards, bennoH.
Frage zu der neuen Presetsfunktion in Wire! 1.

@@ResolumeVJSoftware @ResolumeVJSoftware Funny, the main problem that you've known for a long time is that many setting options in Arena that can also be incorporated into a preset are not executable, i.e. possible, with Wire, which makes exchanging presets very problematic unless you as the programmers find a trick for which you put in a lot of effort would have to do. I am generally of the opinion that before you simply develop new and new featchers, old problems have to completely eliminated first, and you have plenty of them, as we can be seen in our communication.
What does it actually look like with the unique IDs? Are these problems solved? That would also be a basic requirement for the preset exchange to work to enormus for the exchage of presets with other Arena users!!
Or menu entries that don't work at all or, in my opinion, are formulated unprecisely and are so confusing even for someone like me who has been working with graphics and video applications for over 35 years, for example as a technical daytime news & magacin producer for the largest local TV in Switzerland or as a freelance producer for years for the most famous statralaway of Europe, the "SBB AG", created video productions, or as a video artist (VJ) from the very beginning at what is was ever the largest club in Switzerland, which SvenVate as co-owner and anchored visuals as a standard of the clubshows in Swiss.
With only the best wishes & greetings bennoH.

I really have no idea what you are talking about.
All inputs in Wire can be used for presets.
This has nothing to do with "fetchers" or "Unique ID's".

@@ResolumeVJSoftware I really don't understand your "confusing" comment and I have the feeling that you didn't understand or more don't want to understand what I say's.
Those who have obtained my plugins free of charge know very well about the problems with the unique IDs and that has nothing at all to do with the Featchers therm in my beforcoment. I said: "first fix known bugs and then build on innovations like new Featchers like every very reputable software company handles that. I never had to pay a single $ for MS-Windows, OSX-Apple or comparable market leaders to get updates of softwarefixes or errors and gaps. As a standard and rightly so, something is required for new featers and opportunities, and that's absolutely fine. As one of the market leaders in the real-time video business, you mix new possibilities and error repairs of well-known problems in your updates wanted for it mony for that mix, which is very borderline.
      With best greetings bennoH.🐹
