the 1st half some of the football and pressing was great

Should have been three points, we’ve played really well against an Ipswich side who have been flying this season. Good point even though we’ve threw it away at home aswell, move on now and hopefully build in the next game and get the win! Laird looks brilliant after coming back from injury, defensively and going forward was a key player for us. KRO🔵
All the hard, work of the first 75 minutes meant the result felt like defeat. Inspired 4 sub change by the visitors.
Burnt ourselves out after an hour by playing kick and rush football. Possession was the key to seeing this game out and we came up short again as the tactics didn’t seem to change when the subs came on. It feels like two steps forward but three steps backwards as we still haven’t found the balance of how to play for 90+ minutes
We need to go back to the drawing table💙⚽

In the first half that is some of the best football I have seen us play the press didnt allow Ipswich to do anything but you cannot keep that pressing game up for 90 mins its impossible but im felling better about us than I was 3 games ago KRO.

Amazing up until the 75th minute, it’s clear though as Rooney pointed out that the players aren’t fit enough - I foresee a mini pre season taking place during the upcoming international break. Before the game I’d of been more than happy with a point though.
We are seeing clear improvements though, and the lower teams in the league will really struggle with our press, so the upcoming easier games will hopefully see us kick on. Expectations are still just to stay out of trouble with a pivotal summer transfer window upcoming where a lot of dead wood will be moved on.
Gotta play and stay focused for 90mins .. soft goals to concede again because defence at 6/7's ..big shame but move onto next game .. dembele must start Rooney boy

Better, but threw it away. Longelo should be nowhere near the team he is a liability. We need to stop conceding so many late goals.
The ball came from the right side so Drameh at fault again. That's 4 goals in 3 games.

Two goal advantage lost, where was the defense? Sloppy, Rooney must make changes. Can't turn your nose up at a point, but should have been three.

Laird had a cracker but had to come off rightly so unless he’d be out for weeks again. So Sanderson and Longelo have to switch on by fail again. Sanderson goes missing at crucial moments far too often.
Players let Rooney down again. Nothing wrong with the subs, they’re pros, they came on to do a job, see the game out and failed.
Eustace: 11 games 11 goals conceded. Rooney: 4 games 8 conceded. It aint the players.
