I just feel like walls should not exist period. Make it like 3 second triangles on the mini map OR keep the high alert but not both (High Alert should also only activate if someone ADS's at you)
That’s what they did in Vanguard, it would show you where people were when you respawned but it was a blip on the radar. They’ve already done it the right way once, make it make sense.
The principles behind games with strategy is always having counters to each thing. Some perks benefit S&D more than other but ultimate SHOULD have counters, ie cold blooded for High Alert, ghost for UAV, Dead Silence for rushing. You would think the principles carry over each COD but never seems to fail on each release, they always blunder.

I think a good balance change would be change it from see through walls to a flash where someone was like a snap shot grenade, make it so ghost or cold blooded can counter it, change high alert to make it so it only goes off if you are aimed at or if some is pretty close. (I think having ghost or ninja should prevent it from showing entirely but idk if that be to strong)

Hey marksman im not too sure if you know this already but on the map in the second clip of footage there is a vent where you can throw a nade perfectly onto A site from up on the roof.Been trying it recently and has been working out pretty well, sometimes it doesn't work because of people not always going to A site but its still really good, However you do need to practice quite a bit to get it down perfect.
I suggested that it should be like a field upgrade replacement and act like a specialist ability from Bo3, the red one could be overdrive or ballistic armor, blue vision pulse, and green Combat Focus, the one that gives you increased score streak points

So if you look closely, at the nuketown loading screen, you can see that there is a DOOR in yellow house facing spawn. There were doors in nuketown at some point. I think, and BlameTruth seems to also think, that the maps are in fact made by Infinity Ward.
A good fix might be that the wall jacks only activate after a few consecutive deaths with no kills, and gets reset if you get a kill. Obviously not the best to have it in the game but seems like a decent workaround to keep the new feature in the game but make it balanced.
Update: activision just released an update that nerfed recon. Recon perk doesn’t work mid class swap anymore and they reduced the time you see enemies through walls when you respawn

Thank you for addressing this. The recon is ridiculous. They should replace it entirely. I also can’t believe how many innocent players have been shadowbanned from the game including myself . All I wanna do is camo grind but every lobby is aimbotting, wall hacking, fatherless losers, ruining the game.
One change they could do is reduce the range greatly to where you can only see enemies within a very short distance. The other thing they could do, is change both Ninja and Ghost to a different color perk. Those alone are god tier, and would greatly nerf Recon. You wanna see through walls? Well, you're going to do it now with loud ass foot steps.
Personally, I feel that by adding these passive skills in CoD 6, the developers made the game unbalanced. Thanks, by the way-your videos always lift my mood. Could you test Black Ops 6 on boosteroid? It would be interesting for everyone who wants to play without needing an expensive PC.

I'm being 100% honest here, I'm an absolute shitter who likes using recon. I hate being spawn trapped without getting a chance to move a step before I'm dead again, and recon gives me an option to see where they are laying/holding a line of sight and pick a diffrent route. (I may still get shot as soon as I step in a line of sight but I still feel like I have a chance) That being said it needs to be nerfred badly, if it can turn a absolute shitter like me(pretty much bottom of the barrel skill wise) and turn me into a moderately skilled player then there's a issue. Recon needs to return to the ping on the minimap, last 1.5 seconds or less and counterperks. I think high alert needs counter perks and a range nerf(like only activate if your 5m behind you) and even that is a start at the very least. I doubt they'll get rid of it unless they change the mp challenge for snipers to 1s1k. (You gotta have recon for one of the sniper camo challenges)
The high alert actually pisses me off and throws me off so bad. I'm so used to thinking they are aiming at me when it goes off I just be sliding and doing the wrong thing lmao
Remove specialties, add more wildcards. I really liked the vests from Mw3, how some included perks built in with the vest with downsides, like no lethal or tactical.
I used recon the first few days but I’ve switched to enforcer because I don’t want to become dependent on a crutch. Also enforcer is just way more fun and pretty useful for respawn. When it gets nerfed nothing will change for me but all the bots using it will be lost without it lol.

fyi to check your kills going into weapon stats when in the scoreboard and you can see how many kills you have with each weapon and it doesnt count the assist as elims.
First time I used it in the beta I knew it would be a problem, should have been caught in the beta but everyone was pushing for the enforcer perk so it slipped through and now here we are
If they just nerfed the initial xray vision, I’d still use it. As of right now tho, it’s broken and I’m enjoying it. High alert has saved me a bunch in search lol
It's crazy how during the beta it wasn't such a big deal but most could see how it may end up being a problem... I think we even had perks that DID counter it yet now they aren't doing it, let alone what it's doing in SnD is beyond ridiculous. I've honestly saved myself a lot of frustration by doing the zombies camo grind rather than MP right now because it's not hard to see how dumb this is. In the couple of MP rounds I did play a few days after launch, I did get to see it at work. Such a dumb mechanic.
buff the other two. enforcer adds some fractional rate of damage increase as kills increase | strategist delays explosive reactions and slightly weakens grenades. now...the enforcer wants to kill kill kill, the recon can see more of the field, and the strategist can be a high-scoring semi-deviant.

The fact you can swap classes mid match and have it go off is absolutely broken
at least in Mw19 and MW2 cold blooded countered high alert, having some way to counter this should be a thing from the get go.

The worst thing is that on the map subsonic with this perk you can easily snipe someone and take someone out the moment the round starts

I've honestly saved myself a lot of frustration by doing the zombies camo grind rather than MP right now because it's not hard to see how dumb this is. In the couple of MP rounds I did play a few days after launch, I did get to see it at work. Such a dumb mechanic.
buff the other two. enforcer adds some fractional rate of damage increase as kills increase | strategist delays explosive reactions and slightly weakens grenades. now...the enforcer wants to kill kill kill, the recon can see more of the field, and the strategist can be a high-scoring semi-deviant.
