definitely prefer this more classical style more. I climb a lot indoors so my route reading is usually spot on for old school comps, but new school moves are totally baffling to me.
I could watch her climb all day...such a beautiful style. And while I also enjoy the explosiveness of climbers like Janja Garnbret, I try to pattern my style after Kim Jain. Such a crock that they lowered the time limit to 6:00 from 8:00. I feel like that was their way of trying to affect the results and give an advantage to more explosive climbers, which is really a shame.
I agree! Kim always takes her time, never finishes on sprint mode like others. Look like she could continue like that easily. Totally the climbing spirit, very appropriate to switch to outdoor climbing. Like for every other sports, the federation is ruled by people that forgot the very essence of their discipline. Kim did not. Allez Jean !

But am I the only one who was confused and didn't know how to turn my phone or realize she was actually climbing a wall as oppose to a maze on the floor? (Obviously my visual perspective was wayyyy off!) Amazing athleticism!
