Fire Shark, released in Japan as Same! Same! Same! (鮫！鮫！鮫！), is a 1989 arcade shoot-'em-up by Toaplan ported to the Sega Mega Drive in 1990. This is one of the few Mega Drive ports developed by Toaplan themselves.

One of the best music in a shooter in it's time not to mention the flame thrower is probably still it's signature weapon to date(As far as I know). GREAT GAMEPLAY thanks for the upload.

Fire Shark is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME with STUNNINGLY AMAZING graphics and STUNNING gameplay
Right now I'm playing on easy mode and I'm on level 51, this game just keeps going....I thought it would stop at 50 but here I am at 51 and it doesnt look like its gunna end here. The reason i like this game is because you can realistically dodge the the enemies fire unlike most vertical shooters where there is 1000 bullets coming at you.

@@rxsrxz3586 I'm just playing the Rom on Retroarch.
It just goes on and on and on, looping the stages ad infinitum.
4 years later I know. But here I am, playing this game on hard mode. 20 loops already made. The only difference is that the enemy bullets go much faster. I wonder at which point the game turns unplayable because the enemy bullets are insanely fast that you cannot avoid them xD.
I play from a Sega emulator, saving the data every level done.

I too challenged myself to play on hard and without bombs with this and Truxton on the Sega Genesis.
Can't really recall, but I think I made it as far as level 6 here. The 3rd Truxton boss turned out to be a nightmare. I only made it to the 4th level because I survived long enough that when I got killed, I spawned there. I never actually killed that boss.
Nice play here. Always thought the 4th boss was hard. Although my complain with Fire Shark is that it's power ups can get annoying moving like that.
