I really wish the Detroit omnibus had excluded those rancid 2000s retcon stories and instead included the Earth-Mars War that explains why the team was disbanded and reformed in the first place.
@@docsavage8640 Wally West is considered the best flash by most comic readers. A lot of people like Kyle Rayner. I can understand not liking Kyle Rayner but Wally West Flash is so good imo.
Oh man, does the JLI Omnibus bring back some memories. Started collecting comics in the early 80's. Even had about 100 of the giant oversized silver era comics where I read about Superman and Batman's origins. I remember my grandparents giving me Archie's, WW2 and superhero comics my father owned. JLI was probably toward the end of my collecting days before I joined the military and never saw any of those comics again. I never forgot that awesome cover. So many hours reading. I may have to start picking up Omnibus' , I miss those stories. Thanks for this amazing channel. Robert Meyer Burnett mentioned you in one of his videos the other day to come check out. I'm hooked.
Great video given the timing this week! Really looking forward to the movie, but also looking forward to not having to hear about the Snyder cut non-stop too. Thanks man!
Awesome vid Gem! Just FYI the bulk of the JLA Detroit omni takes places before the JLI omni's (JLA Detroit goes up to and ends at Crisis on Infinite Earths and JLI picks up Post-Crisis)
Great job Gem Mint! It's Kevin McGuire I think, not Mark. My first ever comic was a 1970 issue of JLA with JSA team-up against Solomon Grundy. I was six years old and my dad bought it for me and I was hooked ever since. Back in the Silver Age a cool thing they did was a JLA earth-1 team-up with JSA earth-2 team-up. I wonder if the Injustice omni(s) should be given a shout-out during this episode
I only have 2 omnis; Infinity Gauntlet and Astonishing X-men but I really like the way the spine looks on my shelf. Hoping to get a few more at some point...stay safe and minty!
Just curious, where did you get the custom dust jacket? I finally got my Teen Titans #3 omnibus, but didn't realize it had the light blue spine. It just stands out like a sore thumb in the middle of the 5 volumes lol Would love to order a new dust jacket so it'll match. And as always, thanks for the great video!
Pretty much the same as you Gem I was a 90's comic book kid. I mostly read Superman, Spider-Man, and Spawn. But never really got any full chronological stories because I was able to get the comics on a regular basis, only 1 or 2 issues every now and then. Oddly enough I don't think I ever saw X-Men comics in the local dep. where I got my comics, only the ones my father picked up for his collection, I remember the issue where Executioner debuted. Thanks for the overviews Gem, helps me figure out what I want to get in/back in to.
Own all the JLA by Grant Morrison single issues... Will need to scoop up the Omni sometime soon. Thanks for making this video, always loved this series.
If you want to keep the dust jackets nice, I suggest getting Brodart covers. It's the same mylar are you see at the library. They are not permanent, and keep the covers from getting shelf wear.
I have no idea this existed! I really like the justice league from the 90s (America and Europe), I'm ordering both volumes right now (then I think I'll go with bronze age, since I read some pre-crisis too when I was a kid). Thanks a lot for your review.
Anyone have a link or know a website that sells a custom matching cover for silver age justice league volume 1 that matches the rest? Really want to collect the series but that mismatching cover is a deal breaker for me lol
'Every Ommibus released' videos are making a reappearance. These are my favorite videos on your channel.
I really wish the Detroit omnibus had excluded those rancid 2000s retcon stories and instead included the Earth-Mars War that explains why the team was disbanded and reformed in the first place.
I'd love to eventually take the leap into more DC. Thanks for this video.
I completely switched to *DC* 10 years ago & couldn’t be happier, I left *Marvel* right after *Avengers* *Vs* *X-Men.*
you won't regret It, DC has the best comics
the way i see it is dc has better comics and marvel has better movies, and for tv shows and cartoons there about the same
Great video! I appreciate you going over them chronologically.
The Grant Morrison had me hooked when it came out. The Artwork itself was so dope. It blew my mind.
Really looking forward to the Snyder Cut.
That cover shouldn't say "JLA by Morrison", it should be "JLA by Howard Porter". It's so freaking good.
Too bad he had to deal with crap versions of Aquaman, Flash, and Green Lantern.
@@docsavage8640 Wally West is considered the best flash by most comic readers. A lot of people like Kyle Rayner. I can understand not liking Kyle Rayner but Wally West Flash is so good imo.
@@docsavage8640 wdym Wally West is literally the best Flash
Hey man thanks for making this content. On top of pumping out entertaining videos, I also almost always learn something new each time.

Great stuff! Thanks Gem.
Liked your mark mcgwire slip up on the JLI segment haha made me do a double take, like when did a ball player start doing covers lmao good video!
Classics! I appreciate the similar covers and dust jackets.

nice video man !!!

Ideally Legends would have been included in Detroit or the first JLI collection. It's rather a missing link.
Sick video, thank you
Great content, great vid
Your omni collection is amazing!!
Just in time for the snyder cut coming this week! Very good video man, keep it up!!
Great video!
What up? Just wanted to say thank you for talking about the omnibus books. Now I've been spending money like crazy.
Now that’s the Justice League from my childhood! 😃
Love this OG series. Keep em updated please 😀
Great video excited for the new movie!
WOW! I remember buying the comics for 10 cents! I have been reading comic books for a while. Loving this!!!!🤗👊

That's a tall stack of books! Love those covers.
great content!
Perfect time for this review!!
Your video makes me want to the DC omnis! Thanks gemmint
Mark Maguire was a baseball player lol. The JL International covers are done by Kevin Maguire.
Thanks for this video! I'm getting into comics and I'm so excited to read the darkseid story
I love these videos, we need one for every Cosmic Marvel Omnibus please!
love these rundowns of whats been released in a run/series
Great collection
Love JLA. I was collecting it when it changed to JLI, then JLEurope came. Nice review. Thanks
I only have 2 omnis; Infinity Gauntlet and Astonishing X-men but I really like the way the spine looks on my shelf. Hoping to get a few more at some point...stay safe and minty!
Great video
Great video, I'd love to see a death match with all eras of the justice league fight it out to see which era is strongest
Keep up the good work

I like how you can see the progression through each omnibus. High quality books, too. 👍💎
I use your every omni released video's as a reference to build my own collection.
Gotta get my hands on these!
Own all the JLA by Grant Morrison single issues... Will need to scoop up the Omni sometime soon. Thanks for making this video, always loved this series.

That's a crap ton of justice league goodness! 😍
Awesome collection. So excited for The Snyder Cut.
nice one!!!
Are you planing on doing a review for the Alien and Predator omnibus’s?
Hell yess Perfect! Snyder is here justice league Omnibus is here Thanks man!
I have every *Justice* *League* floppy since the end of 2010. I’ve only started getting trades for before that, just got book 1 of Morrison’s run.
Indeed Gem...
PERFECT Timing!
Damn Gem you got that poor little Darkseid omni on the bottom.
Very nice complete collection
That Bronze Age vol 1 omnibus is going for a lot on Amazon right now
Just Shared this Episode in ALL of My 19 IG Forums!
Did they fix the line work reprint issues and the other problems with the justice league international omnibus yet?
Do you have the Absolute JLA Origins or the JLA Synyder OHCs?
Great 👍🏽 video.
Have to check out this golden age umnibus
Now that's a stack of omnibuses dang!
I only have Darkseid War from this, but I did pre order New 52 JLA from my local comic shop even tho I have the hardcovers already.
Which one would be best for new reader ? International? Or Morrison?
broooooo the thumbnail 🤣
Dang it bro ! I wish the New 52 Justice League omni was released in time for the movie and THIS video haha !
I got that grant Morrison JLA on my shelf just waiting to be read lol
Anyone have a link or know a website that sells a custom matching cover for silver age justice league volume 1 that matches the rest? Really want to collect the series but that mismatching cover is a deal breaker for me lol
can you do a "every dc golden\silver\bronze age omnibus so far"? it can be really cool🔥
Looking forward to that New 52 Omni!
Omg super excited for The giveaway!!
I'm at work but I am so excited to watch this one !
So no collected Omnibus for the Dwayne McDuffie/Ed Benes run?
That Morrison run is one of the first JLA stories I read, pretty much a must but for me!
Would you ever consider adding the Deluxe editions into these videos to match trim size and fill out the runs?
i actually made a decision to stick to omnis...due to space.
i'll be picking up my first justice league omni when the new 52 one drops
Jeez that’s like a stack to the ceiling haha. Some huuugggeee omnibuses
That super gem Mint shirt looks lit
Great call to do this one
This is an impressive set of omnis. I enjoy the DC/Justice League movies but never read any of the books...I think I like it that way.
I disagree on the Mobius chair bit. The Mobius chair probably asked Batman "Which Joker? There's three." which he responds, "No, that's not possible."
Man that Justice League Darkseid War Saga looks DOPE! I love the artwork
