If the video is from Bolt-Action Productions, then it's an automatic Thumbs Up click, right BEFORE I start viewing. OMG, my up coming bacon, eggs toast coffee breakfast has just lost it's 'flavour' after watching this. That meat looks wonderfully delicious! Talk about your calorie free eating!
Love the channel, great videos and so much knowledge shared !! As a chef I did however cringe cooking back strap 45 minutes to an hour , but each to there own if thats how you like it cooked . Spice rubs are great on lean red meat. Well done boys .
Sweet vid Gents👌 Can't wait for my first Deer🤗 Hoping in a couple of weeks after I get my R Licence. The best part was testing the rub on a mate first😆 The meat looks tender n loaded with flavour. YUMMMMM!
Good day Steve the venison looked beautiful, the rub you have can be bought from an online store in Melbourne called Smoked and Cured they sell all sorts of rubs and anything you might need for curing or flavouring meat, I use the one you have the way you did , but I also use it in my jerky marinade and that's where it really does shine, gives a real extra bit of oomph to fallow jerky , I also use their Liquid smoke hickory flavour and its something else when you put a little of that in your marinade as well, try it you will love it. Actually they are in Reservoir at 3/55 Radford rd 03 8592 8307
Hey guys always good to see blokes that use all of their kill. I do the same. I really try not to by from the butcher when possible. There is something special about harvesting meat for the family. That skin very nice too would make a great rug. Keep it guys love your work. 🤙
Cheers Michael, that is always our aim but not always possible. Ian took his time skinning to make sure he could make a nice floor mat out of the hide. Thanks for watching
does hanging with it's jacket on make the meat swet. some leave it on some take it off. i take it off, but then you get that dry layer. whats your thoughts
@@BoltActionProductions I am up brisbane way.. Just thought you might be selling them to support your videos.. either way I would buy one so there is a thought for you guys..
I would need to sell them for $10 plus postage. Postage cost is the issue for me being anywhere from $5-10 within Australia. I think this is a bit too much overall. What are your thoughts?
@@BoltActionProductions yeah I suppose postage will be a killer. 15 - 20 for a stubbie cooler might be bit much. Just food for thought as you have great videos and quite a following from people I have talked to.
Jacob Stranieri. Yes, mate that is exactly my thoughts. I wish I could get them out at a total of $10 including postage but I just can't make that work.
A little done but It still looked amazing always harder on over the fire , from here very lean lookin meat not a lot of fat to be trimmed off , but that's some nice looking backstrap real nice colour
but everything tastes better Steve over a camp fire especially with a sprinkle of steak seasoning lol I even pack it in my pack with pepper lol@@BoltActionProductions
Nice video again guys, but to give them beautiful rib bones to the dogs!,, Try slow cooked BBQ venison spare ribs, you will never throw out the rib cage again
The spits the way to go hey fellas good stuff. Smoked and cured .com.au sell the rub and some awesome sauces too. I love sambar but fellow meat gives it a fair run for its money👍
Best thing about this is two fellas enjoying a nice beer and some aussie home grown bush meat 👍🏻
Certainly is hard to beat Jordan. It's the simple things in life that give us the greatest pleasure. Thanks for watching.
