It's really nice when Josh sometimes gets to speak in the vids; he's very knowledgeable about so many things, and a devout Christian--just a kind person, and an excellent dad.
I get too excited when i see new MFU and HIH on my subscription page haha This was such a wonderful video! So important to remember to be grateful for our blessings and not get into comparing or feeling less-than, whether that's someone in real life or based on social media. Thanks for being a positive encouraging influence for me, i always feel like a kindred spirit when i watch your videos. I always think, if she can be a superwoman for her family, so can i! 😅
Love your videos so much and how you are intentional about spending one-on-one time with your daughter. I have two boys and one little girl and I plan to adopt this when she is a little older. Also… did anyone else see the rabbit hopping in the background at the beginning of the Q+A? 😊
May God be with you and your doctor as you have your surgery! I’m sure you have help with your sweet children! Follow all your doctor’s advice and recuperate well! After you are well, you can take your little ones outside and do fun things. God bless!
I love to watch you figure out life together. I am 63 and my husband said something to me when I was a young mother that stuck with me because 1. it was true and 2. he was so sensitive to my needs. I was complaining about the toys on the floor and being always "behind" when it came to keeping the house clean the way I wanted to and he looked me in the eye and said, "this is THIS season of life and it's perfect! and the next season will be perfect, too!" and he was right!!! Now we are empty nesters and this season is as perfect as when the kids were little. He taught me to embrace the seasons as they are - and THAT IS WHAT I HEARD Josh say to you! He said, " It's just what it is - it's a part of life - and the expectations have to be just that." Embrace those words! You are blessed with Josh because he truly understands and having a supportive partner helps us to get our expectations ordered correctly. (I am like you - I am super hard on myself and want to achieve it all and achieve it WELL!). Love you and your channel!!! xoxo
If you're coming to Indiana I hope you visit Shipshewana! My grandparents lived there for 50 years before it became a tourist attraction. Amish heritage, gift shops, auction barn, flea market. Theater..
I love Josh's take on things. He seems so casual and excepting of life and it's ups and downs. I call it ages and stages. Finding the pockets of time and making your relationship a priority. Bedtime routines are a must. those evenings to talk read spend time at the fire or just be in the same room each doing your own thing, quality time . I miss that. We are older and those pockets of time are the best to look back on.
Indiana Girl here! I can't wait to see what you decide to do here! :) I grew up in Southern Indiana (farms, hills, and the Ohio River) and then married and moved north to a little town outside of Indy. Indiana is really pretty and filled with summer fun - enjoy!
Megan. I love the intro to your channel. You are a godly family. It's wonderful when young couples come into a marriage pure without any baggage. God's ways are the best.
How sweet to take your daughter out! That's so cool. I like to take my sons out for dates, but I don't think I ever did individual dates with them. Having a favorite kid in the Bible definitely caused problems!! SO many times this happened, right? The taco chicken thing looked tasty. I loved hearing you two talk with one another once again. It is always fun. It is good you live in a safer area to bike ride. I live on a very insane road that is dangerous and I LOVE cycling so much, but can't around here. Wakeboarding sounds fun too though!
Hi Megan, I have a bit of a random video suggestion :D I would love to see a "rainy day" vlog, maybe with some activities to do with kids on a rainy summer day (indoors and outdoors). It always looks so cosy when you include clips of your sunroom when it's raining!
My husband is not a builder but can do just about any job...so so fortunate..he can cook meals..bake cakes..fix washing machines...sew teddybear clothes & hem his trousers..pickle olives from our tree...fix cars..garden...build sheds...gee, wonder what i do!!!! 3 kids..8 grandies & 50yrs married, we've had a full rich life and struggles too when Graeme was a full time student with 3 little kids & me running a dance school. Or drapped in the lounge on a clothes hoist, in the winter. No snow here Down-Under. We got a drier when kids were over 16!! I still use it about once every 2 weeks. I grew up learning to save power, mend clothes, save water & eat leftovers..do people still do this...I'm sure my kids dont( they do eat leftovers tho!!! ) Bye..im just rambling on as tv not on so make time to watch you every Fri night around 11 pm
You both are such good roll models to your beautiful children teaching them the most important word of God. I live watching your videos God bless y’all!♥️
What a lovely video! I really love these q and a’s. We get to see a slightly different angle on your home and family. May God continue to pour his blessings on your family! ❤
We have 4 too, but all mine are older than all of yours; 14, 12, 8.5, 6.5 We have done at home date nights every single week on Fridays. Macncheese for children early and they're in their beds by 730. They can read books or play quietly. My husband will make something for us (he enjoys cooking) or if it's payday we get takeout. We get to eat together (mostly) uninterrupted and then watch a movie or some times we play (strip) UNO. 😉 We keep the date going by letting children watch Saturday morning shows and getting themselves junky cereal (only day of the week they're allowed) so we can have our coffee on the porch and talk about things we need to and plan our coming week. I love your channel!! You and Josh have such a great approach and outlook on “life!” You’re both hardworking, simple, humble and content. Keep being you!!! ❤️🥰❤️

Josh is an amazing man happy belated Father’s Day Josh. You both are awesome parents and believe in the Lord thank you Megan for always sharing with us and I agree with Josh 100% God bless love all your videos and can’t wait for next week. Have a great weekend.❤
What is this "old people don't sleep"? I am 82, and I sleep very well almost every night. Yes, you do lose energy as you age. I enjoy your videos. Your children are beautiful and a blessing. You are both doing a great job of parenting.
Girl you look great , your weight is just shedding off. What’s your secret ? After baby #3,4,and 5 I’m just stuck at the weight and it won’t go down 😠.
Hmmm…yes…life is hard work, but that is NOT what life is all about. Goodness, there is so much more to life than work. And I know you know that, but I hope you take time to find joy!
You really need to hear how condescending you are when you talk about anything but especially when you talk about your kids and husband. Also, traveling at all is a great thing! Please watch how you sound when you talk about all the trips you get to go on. Just be smarter
I’m a 74 year old grandmother of 5. I have found myself watching you and your lovely family when you only had Evoni. I watch because it is so refreshing to see a young lovely couple enjoying their lives together and raising 4 children with God and grace. It gives me hope for humanity in a time when little things do. It’s not to see what you have or don’t have but to see who you are and how you live your life.Josh is so very reasonable and Megan you are a dreamer. What a perfect match. I have such respect for you both. Your children are so lucky and will someday look at you with such admiration for the way you both have raised them. Keep up the good work.
We can see that Josh had a solid foundation growing up. He is full of faith and talents. We enjoy watching you both as you lead, inspire, and grow your family. Thank you
your daughter was correct. Jacob's favorite kid was Joseph. So cute how Josh says that going out for dinner with you would be a blast....he loves you so much
Be content with what the Lord has already given you & IF HE thinks you need more ( or any upgrades) God will let you know. You have a Beautiful Home that you have and are continuing making your own. Staying OUT of debt is freeing & what Gods wants us to do & is wise. God gave you a husband who CAN do things Megan & God has given You abilities as well. You are an energetic Mom with a happy spirit who loves to cook & better her home- family & life. Just enjoy THIS SEASON. THEY GROW-up so fast & we don’t get a re-do with our children. Love it when you & Josh do these little chats. Much Love from NC❤
Greetings from the middle of Nebraska! I so enjoyed this video. As I have stated before, Megan you and Josh are wise beyond your years. Josh is so grounded and authentic. He has such a great outlook on life. You both are such a blessing for one another. You support one another and certainly seem to respect and love one another. In our current state of the world, you are both a bright light and every young person should follow your Christian life and marriage encouragement. I am a 66 yr old grandmother to soon to be 7 grandchildren. Each season of life is different and sometimes hard. Growing a great family is one of God's greatest blessing and gift. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and videos!! God bless you guys!!
Yes. You lose energy as you age. Yes, even if you’re fit- it’s just part of life that our bodies change, same as kids grow up. It does change though - mine are 16 and 19 and these ages are so fun. Great conversations and seeing them learn independence and getting jobs and choosing career goals. More sleep? No! Now I’m awake waiting for them to get home safe or up early to make hot breakfast before they leave for work. Different than toddlers but also still hard because I can’t fix their worries and hurts as easily as I could when they’re little.
Loved what you and Josh said .. the secret to happiness is to not compare yourself to others, to love people and not things, to be content and grateful for what you do have, and to fulfill your spiritual need ..
Megan❤. I really look forward to your videos each week-it’s like part of my self-care during nap time on Thursdays! Looking forward to this q and a! Love your channel ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes, you lose energy. It's not just about sleep. I get more and better sleep now than when my kids were little. I am 52, and my kids are your ages. We just wear down the older we get. Health can play a significant role in that, too.
Awe, Josh is so cute, I love how he supports you Megan! He's wise & self confident. It's especially nice when we can hear his perspective without interruption. ❤
Lol! Josh's expressions when you were talking about how you would like redoing the laundry room.😂 It reminds me of my husband's expressions when I express the desire to have something redone. My husband also has his own construction business and knows how to do most anything. 😅
To whom much is given, much will be required (Luke 12:48). If you have heard that line of wisdom, you know it means we are held responsible for what we have. If we have been blessed with talents, wealth, knowledge, time, and the like, it is expected that we benefit others with those gifts.
Oh, Megan, I know raising children can be hard, but try to enjoy it all because time passes so quickly before you know their all grown up. What do they say? You only have 18 summers with them.Josh is right on about money .
@MeganFoxUnlocked I'm the same way, Megan. 😢❤ My oldest is almost 7yrs old in Sept and I'm so sad!! I hug them all often and hold them every chance I'm able. ❤
the girl that's afraid to ride the school bus. does she have any friends that ride the same bus. If so parent to parent talk to the girls. if not call the transportation office and ask the bus driver to call you. (I'm a retired school bus driver) and tell the driver that she's scared and the driver can have her sit up close to her. then when /if she get comply riding (it may take a half year or full year depend if she has friends that ride the same bus) she will move from the front. I understand Megan. My hubby could do every thing. and I loved it when we were younger. before he became blind. He still try. The older washer and dryers are built to last and to be repaired there work horses. the new one you can't repair your self and they cost a arm and a leg to repair. It's the little things that the kids will remember and you will also. I have been watching you when you only had Evonne. It's so nice to see a couple raising there family. and NOT trying to be better then the neighbors. I don't watch those people. your hard working love your family.
Hi Megan you have a great husband if you read all their comments but I have to agree you got lucky with josh. But no doubt he thinks the same about you he got lucky with you and I have to agree. And I have just had my forty third anniversary I did get married at eighteen, my husband is five years older than me. But one bad thing we have been waiting for a while for him to go in to the hospital for a triple bypass. At first I was terrified thinking about it but as the weeks went by seeing him suffer from angina I just wish his appointment would hurry up.And I will accept what ever happens but its really hard. I hope he gets it soon and he gets a good few years better health that is all I can pray for. So you two stay as happy in the good times and the bad times it's so worth it especially when you have a good man.
You just made me think of my mother and dad. 5 children in 7 years. Dad had two jobs mom was stay at home till I the second born was 12. Church every sunday , mom a sunday school teacher. Also we lived away from family. How they managed is beyond my comprehension.
Josh is a wise man, seems to be such a hard worker. Wish more men had his outlook.
How does one find a good man?
@@AC-iw5mvask then who they love most in their life, if they Jesus, one worth a second date!
Right, he needs to cloned😅

You set the example of a lovely young couple with a great partnership. God bless your family.
Honestly, Josh needs to create a 'how to be a husband and father channel.'😊
It's really nice when Josh sometimes gets to speak in the vids; he's very knowledgeable about so many things, and a devout Christian--just a kind person, and an excellent dad.
I'd love to make it more of a regular thing, but it's so hard to pin us both down as you can see from this video!!
Agreed, they're so sweet together! I love how their style/personalities complement each other
Mo@@peachfountain
totally agree! I love when he is in the videos! These two are my favorite youtube couple
I love hearing this pov from dad. Moms and dads have complimentary innate responsibilities and parenting gifts that cannot be replaced. ❤❤
I can’t TELL you how many expectations have changed for us 6 kids in!!

To whom much is given, much will be required (Luke 12:48). If you have heard that line of wisdom, you know it means we are held responsible for what we have. If we have been blessed with talents, wealth, knowledge, time, and the like, it is expected that we benefit others with those gifts.
It's truly good to hear Josh's input. What a sound guy.
I think he's just a kind caring guy and it shows.
I have found you so inspiring since i started my mother hood journey 10 months ago😊 love how you find the joy through the hard😊
Oh, Megan, I know raising children can be hard, but try to enjoy it all because time passes so quickly before you know their all grown up. What do they say? You only have 18 summers with them.Josh is right on about money .
I am the one who wants them to grow up slowly for sure cause I can already see how the fast the past 6 years has flown! Sob sob!
@MeganFoxUnlocked I'm the same way, Megan. 😢❤
My oldest is almost 7yrs old in Sept and I'm so sad!!
Genießt eure Kinder, sie sind ein Geschenk 🎁
You just made me think of my mother and dad. 5 children in 7 years. Dad had two jobs mom was stay at home till I the second born was 12. Church every sunday , mom a sunday school teacher. Also we lived away from family. How they managed is beyond my comprehension.
Love both your comments on comparison💕
Getting new boots and it's a Q & A video today! Cool! 👢👢🍿🎥
That chicken was HUGE. I grew up on a farm and we butchered them ourselves.
