I use: Rae: Great in arena as she can remove all buffs and freeze enemies, as well as doing tons of damage. Also amazing in dungeons with her speed aura and I now use her to farm brutal in 10 seconds. She's my MVP Prince Kymar for the reasons you mentioned, although I find him incredibly frustrating in spider auto because the AI is moronic. It'll use his a3 even when hardly anyone has gone before him, wasting its effect Kael: he's dropped out of use a little recently, but still gets a run out in spider and IG Thenasil: my best healer - he can heal 21k per 3 turns to everyone. Paired with gorgorab he'll keep my team alive longer Gorgorab: Until recently my Arena lead I still use him in arena when I think I'll be beaten for speed (in which case I run seeker, gorgorab, stag Knight and rae) and gets used in just about every dungeon Seeker: carried me to gold IV and still gets used in arena because of his a1 provoke. Gets used in other dungeons like fk occasionally Foli: Excellent in FK, good in IG, OK in clan boss now that they buffed leech Stag Knight: for the same reasons Inithwe bloodtwin: excellent single hit nuker, also got a good attack aura in all battles so I use him as lead in CB as most other all battle auras I have are pants Cold heart: same reasons
Miscreated Monster is basically a Legendary. So powerful. Gotta love him, Dark Elhain is even stronger than she looks gotta love her. Bad-El-Kazar no doubt is the best healer and one of the coolest looking champions. Gotta love him.
Have you ever had Dark Elhain succumb to a Freeze debuff when fighting a Tormin or the Ice Golem, even though she's supposed to be immune to Freeze debuffs?
I roll with Ma'Shalled, Coldheart, and Madame Serris literally everywhere. Dark Elhain, Whisper, Iron Brago, and Alika get worked in depending on enemy skills and affinities.

I have been playing for 28 days now and i am loving your video's. big fan and i play with most of your free to play guys., love Apothecary, Tayrel, Kael, and of course Coldheart. my problem is not knowing where to farm since i am really focused on farming scrolls for masteries right now that is usually what i use my 30 free turns on. keep them coming Ash and thank you for your time doing these.
I'm still pretty fresh player in Raid and for me two of the most used champs all around are: Tayrel: Multihit weaken A1, Drop Defense on A2 and drop turn meter on A3 with a defense aura? Can't think many places in this game I wouldn't take him at this stage of my game. Coldheart: The first champ I used 800 gems to get masteries. Dominates spider, fireknight, potion keeps and I'll even run her for Dragon just for the pure damage of Heartseeker. She's bonkers!

Tyrant & Mis Monster Spider 20 heroes, Gorgorab is my go to resurrection (Until i get Arbiter built right) Saurus is my farmer ( can do 12/3 7 seconds, Hats off to Coldbrew for him) Major on wishlist is Lisandra & Mad serris....LOL when you pulled lisandra i threw caution to the wind And pulled a bunch of shards trying to get her, yeah i know stupid, but i was real lucky on other 10x pulling martyr and eva....but now i have 7 RG & 6 Tayrel,guess i'll have to work on them now. Nice video Ash! For the next one, I'd like to see a little bit about the jewelry as well as I'm always in doubt about which amulets and banners to wear on my champions, so your recommendations would help new players to decide what primary stats to focus on rings, amulets and banners
As a mostly free to play player I have both Stag Knight and Tayrel. I have already invested a ton into Tayrel, he is fully booked. I noticed SK needs a lot of books. Is it still worth investing in him?
I use Venus everywhere. She was my first leg. I use Madam Serris in my dungeon and arena teams I will use Valk on several teams, right now she is just cb cause I just got her. I don't have a ton of cross over aside from this
Steelskull is incredible for a tuned clan boos team. It takes some work getting him up to snuff, though. He's worthless on a speed tuned team until you book him up, too. Once he's booked, his debuff cleanse falls in line with CB's skill rotation, and his poisons have a much higher chance to proc. Thanks for the info on Dark Elhain. I just never clued in I could use her in IG.
Man, I use mostly the exact same champs as you do for the exact use cases you indicated. The only ones I do not use are Kymar and Bad El, and that is because I do not have them.
I also run Prince Kymar in arena, but I find him not applying sleep alot. No weak hits, no resist message popping up, simply not getting that sleep on. I don't know whats going on there, could possibly be resists but without any message popping up, his accuracy is only at 250. Have you noticed this as well?
Almost no one mentioned Miscreated Monster. He’s my best champ by far. I think I have him on almost every team in the game. Over 60k hp and I don’t even have the best gear yet. Another one I use a ton is Aothar. He deserves some love too.
I dont think too many people have him. I had two at one point but i ended up feeding it to my first so i could use him better in cb. He's pretty much a lego for sure. Love him.
I'v only been playing for a couple of months. So far, my go to's are Valla, Saurus, Athel, War Priest, and Sir Nicholas. I just got Tayrel, I'm leveling him up and looking forward to seeing what he can do.
Miscreated Monster and Sinesha are my two main champs I use in all areas. My 3rd is Lightsworn who i absolutly love and use everywhere except spider. Instead i'll use Kallia. High Katune (speed for cb, dungeons), Kallia (hp burn, heal reduct.), and Galek (more recently Ult. Galek), i use interchangably. I havent pulled a single lego since I starting playing last summer, but i recently got Valla, Zargala, Ult. Elhain and Ult. Galek and a few more i am currently building them up. I have umbral enchantress and a few others i should really build and use more.
I love your videos. They have completely changed my account. Your guides have helped my progression immensely. Currently, my biggest jam up is clan boss. Can only get to the second chest on Nightmare. I feel like I should be able to get the final chest but I'm missing something
I just pulled Miscreated Monster and Prince Kymar in the Sacred shard event... I am farming food so I can 6 star one of them but I cannot decide which. I am currently stuck at lvl 18 in spider and I think MM would make all the difference... but Kymar woudl help my arena teams. well tag team definitely but not sure how to fit him into my normal arena team. Current spider = Duchess Lilitu, Coldheart, Royal Guard, Cupidus, Tayrel (id replace lilitu with MM). My arena team is Duchess Lilitu, Longbeard, Cupidus, Madame Serris. (not sure how id work kymar into that). Any advice?
I use Krisk EVERYWHERE. He single-handedly sustains my entire team. He's ridiculous. I also use Bad-El in most places as well as Sepulcher Sentinal. I also use Frozen Banshee in CB, Dragon, Keeps, and Mino. I also recently bumped up Dark Elhain, and she sees play in arena and ice golem. I still use Kael in places, but I've been having a hard time getting a permanent replacement for him.
For me: Big'un for Campaign and wave control in dungeons. Dracomorph for sheer power anywhere I need it. Ma'Shalled is for debuffing and mass healing. Ignatius mostly in spider. But over all of them.. the one character I use literally everywhere: Raglin. Healing and resurrection, she is the best champion I've ever pulled, and the one that I've worked on the hardest. Currently have her at 50,000 power, close to 20,000 higher than anyone else I have (over 200 resist).
Hey Ash. Nice video. Thanks for sharing your builds. Great information, and really cool to see how you are building your heroes. Overall very solid. Have a few comments though on some of your builds... First, for Prince Kymar, IDK how he can survive as the speed lead in arena with only a speed around 260. Most people are running their Arbiters well over 300, in the 325 speed range, so that speed is simply not going to work by itself. Maybe running Prince Kymar leader for the speed aura, but also with a Lysandra secondary might get you the lead.... I used to use Prince Kymar in arena, but now that I have Madame Serris, I have switched over to her, with Arbiter as the speed leader. Madame Serris skills honestly are superior to Kymar. Stripping the buffs is only half the equation. The other half is putting the crucial decrease DEF debuff. The fact that Madame Serris puts that debuff "silently", without triggering an attack (and maybe generating counterattacks and boosting enemy turn meters through masteries) is amazing. This is better than Stag Knight too. She is the perfect setup hero for an AOE nuker in Arena. For your Coldheart, you should not use a DEF% chest on her. Use a HP% chest instead. Yes, I know her DEF is extremely low, but that is precisely why a DEF% chest is not good on her. Her DEF is so low, that raising a really low number by 60% is still a low number. With a higher HP, the enemy AI will not target her as much, and will instead target another hero with a lower HP pool, even though they may be much less tanky. The enemy AI "sees" HP, but it does not "see" DEF. So use a HP% chest on her, but use DEF main stat for your ring, if you need to get her DEF higher. Thanks again for the great video. Just watched the crazy sparky deck video, I knew Raid shadow legends was coming next. Always enjoy your vids ash, after 39 days of playing (And a bit of spending...) I finally received my Apothecary! The next day I accumulated some shards for the 10x High elves summon event, I was hoping for tayrel or Royal guard. First shard I pull, Royal Guard. I was psyched and adjusted my wishlist and asked for tayrel or Miscreated monster (Fav champ next to Krisk) And boom a few useless pulls later I get Miscreated monster! So I was really happy! Decided to pull the last ancient shards I had, and actually pulled 2 EXTRA ROYAL GUARDS... Whut, Upgrades for days! (and if that wasn't lucky enough... the next day I pulled Harvest Jack from a single FREE ancient shard, amazing)
I currently use Tayrel but have a Stag Knight sitting in my vault unused. You got me excited saying Stag Knight is better at the BeBuff role, but comparing their kits I'm trying to figure out why? Stag Knight has the speed reduction on A1 which is cool, but Tayrel has the Turn Meter reduction on A3, plus I like having the ATK down on the A1 instead of being tied to RNG with a cooldown on an A2. Plus there's Tayrel's DEF 25% Aura in All Battles which I use a LOT! Curious to know why you rate Stag Knight above him, would love to get some use out the Stag Man hey! haha
The only ones I have on your list is Tayrel. I do have Stag knight and I should start building him for arena. I also have Dark Elhain but I'm still struggling in Silver II so not many Tormins in sight for her to shine there. I am under stage 15 for most dungeons so my champs are a bit all over the place. I use Tayrel in clan boss, Spider, Dragon, Mino, and Ice Golem. I use Bellower in Mino, all the potion keeps, Ice Golem, and Dragons. I use Steelskull in Clan boss, Spiders, Ice Golem, Mino, Fire Knight, and Force Keep. I Use Apothecary in Clan boss, Dragons, Fire Knight, Arcane Keep, Spirit Keep, and Mino. I use Kael in Clan boss, Dragons, Spirit Keep, and Arcane Keep. I use High Katun for arena and Force keep. I use Shieldguard for Force keep and campaign farming. I use Armiger for Force Keep and Spiders.

Mostly been using Miscreated, Kael, and Apothecary in most situtations. I definitely need to work on other champions like Lua, Royal Guard (just realized I had him in my vault) and skullcrusher. Working on a poison clan boss team as well. Still a ton of work to do especially when it comes to building the right gear sets.
Stag Knight Hands down for me! He is in every one of my teams in all areas (Fully Booked), Also amazingly Black Knight since it's buff by Plarium has found itself in most of my teams (Defence up all the time has helped all my teams survive) plus when RnG spits on my face in Dragons it is hilarious seeing him take on the Dragon by himself and beat it. (I just about crapped my self when I saw him do it the first time lol)
I'd say I'm just reaching mid game.. maybe still early game (4+ Mil in clan boss 1 key). My most used Champs are Seducer, High Khatun, Tayrel , Mausoleum mage and Vizier.
Always use Krisk the Ageless.. he's a void and on LITERALLY all my dungeon 20 teams. Valkyrie, Minaya, Nethril and Zavia are also my go-tos for almost anything. And, depending on the affinity, I have to use either Stag Knight or Tayrel. Kymar is a staple on my Arena team as well.
long live duchess, i just hate the developers bc they removed her ability under veil 40% decrease attacks with the recent patch update but still she is my best champ ;)
Solid list there Ash! For me, my ride-or-die are: Dracomorph - my 1st lego, and he is still on all of my teams. He debufs, poisons and nukes! I love him! ColdHeart, Royal Guard, Apothecary are others that I use more than any others. I recently pulled Duchess Lilitu and she is crazy good! I find myself using her almost everywhere also - feels like cheating =)
valk, krisp, and big-un/dracomorph. litterally use krisp and valk everywhere. she kinda serves as my healer with the big as shield and krisp works really well with her in order to make her shield more effective and he's able to take the extra and heal it back. big un can go to most places the only place I don't use him in is clan boss and draco is my god for clan boss but he doesn't really have a place anywhere else, ill occasionally put him in arena but pretty rarely.
Ash i'm a 100% f2p player and i'm getting a little discourage about the VarGall fusion, it's taking ALL my resources (already farmed all skulls tho) and i feel maybe i could be using them in other stuff idk... You think it's worth it?
No its not worth it but youve allready come this far, whats the point of backing out now? Plus he might get buffed in the future and you can use him on faction wars. Doesnt hurt having him.
Replace seeker with arbiter for a speed aura and maybe replace thenasil with another nuker although zavia should be more than enough so that's up to you. If you have an aoe poisoner they can work wonders with zavia.
Some champions I use a lot are Altan, Kael, Reliquary Tender, Apothercary, Royal Huntsman and Bellower. Of course I don't have a lot of champions, especially the game changers, to choose from.

I've used My starter champion Galek, aoe Skullcrusher, Counter attack Warden, reflect damage against aoe enemies, Dark Athel, Aoe attacker, Romero, shield & healing. Dark Elhain is another one of my Favorites, I love her.
Kinda new so my list is common. Athel, Warpriest and High Khatun. I did manage to fuze Skull Lord Var-Gall, and with him being my 1st legendary I use him everywhere now.
Seeker. Seeker, Seeker, Seeker, oh my god. The turn cycling is so good, taunt with evil eye is crazy powerful in the arena, and the sneaky 60% defense boost when he takes a crit. As a newer player without legendaries, especially without Arbiter, Seeker is hard-carrying me through this game.
after watching this video, it makes me want to build a Dark Elhain, since I only 4 Lego, and I don't think they can help me on progressing much in my team comps, Tomb Lord, Skatorsis, Lugan the Steadfast, and skull-lord. I have Stag Knight, M.mage, these kinda do the similar jobs as the Lego that I got. Lugan and skull Lord are kinda out of place without awesome gear in my place, and I haven't 6 stars them yet. Ash, can help me out and look over my account to see what I can do for better progression?
Heh, I make due with whatever the heck I’m granted. So far my top at this moment in time is Fang Cleric and I have him in heart which grants a chance for an extra turn. Oddly enough even though it says 10%, I think it’s more like 45% for it triggers a LOT with him. Also his auto setup sort of goes - Attack, extra turn, heal, full turn meter, attack, extra turn and then attack.
Whisper for sure, Ultimate Galek, Shaman, Miscreated Monster and recently Dark Elhain! She’s up there with Whisper and Ultimate Galek for my top 3 most powerful! I just pulled a Cillian the Lucky but I can’t bring myself to get rid of him....
I have a max ability, and ascend stag knight. One of my best unit's as of right now. I'm rather new to the game (I finished all maps 3 star for brutal) I don't have access to all of the right tools to fine tune him to speed, but that is what I went for I would say he had 180-190 speed as of right now. He's awesome
Reliquary Tender is one of my most used champions because I'm poor. Razin and Tayrel are used in a lot of my teams as well. I'll probably move over to Stag Knight once I get some gear for him.
Aside from Coldheart and Apthecarry , ever since I pulled my *Skartorsis* like 3 months back he been in every team I use (except for Clan Boss.) Amazing in Arena as support , Amazing as Dungeon Lead. Amazing in Factions . HE's JUST THAT GOOD. he can even be a Campaign farmer (not sure why would u build him like that but w/e). PS. SteelSkull isin't used cuz of his poisons , because it have very low apply chanse (think of it as a cherry on top) he is mainly used for aoe 60% Def n Heal + cleanse againts CB stun .
My most used is Valkyrie, she is my only lego F2P, I use her everywhere except Campain Farming, but she is in my 3 star duo. After that my most used are Royal and Apoth, just because they are both in basically all my dungeons.
I find Harvest Jack is the perfect counter to Bad El-Kazar. His Dreams to Ash ability turns all those continuous heal buffs to poison. Bad El doesn't last long against my team.
Dutchess Lilitu, Tayrel, Ma Shalled, Big Un, Coldheart, Seer, Miscreated Monster, Rotos, Skullcrown. Du Li and Tay everywhere. Steelskull and Frozen Banschee for CB.
Duchess Lilitu + Apothecary in literally everything except campaign farming. Arena, clan boss, every single dungeon, faction wars. F2P life I got super lucky to pull Duchess as my first legendary (And only legendary for a long long time)
My main overall champions are Cupidus, Skullcrusher, Skullcrown, Miscreated Monster, Dark Athel and Gorgorab. I use Skullcrusher, Occult Brawler, Jareg, Dark Athel and Cupidus for CB but I want to swap my Tayrel in to replace Jareg and Dark Athel and then put my Thenasil or Gorgorab in as a healer, with my current team I'm able to 3 key Nightmare and 1 key Brutal most of the time.
Mistreated monster, stag knight, royal guard, Valkyrie, cold heart, dark Elhain... it’s almost a mantra now after watching RUclips videos. They make your teams a lot easier to run.
Miscreated Monster, Scyl of the Drakes, Trunda Giltmallet, Stag Knight, Coldhearth (Lvling up second one) and Kael are my most used champs... Miscreated Monster changed my char insanely much... still have 90 days to go to get Scyl from daily logins :D
I just wanna shout out my first leggo, that immediately was my first serious disappointment, and very soon after became one of my loves; Teela Goremane ! I haven’t even mastered or booked her yet, and she still performs awesome in almost all my pve teams. She don’t get enough ove imo
If you get a chance to check something out when it comes to spiders den... I have a trunda and I noticed there's a defense mastery that has a chance to place leech when using different forms of cc so I tried it out and it works very well I was really surprised
I know I am late but my top used champs would be : 1) Dark Athel, 2) Coldheart, 3) Apothecary, 4) Dark Elhain, 5) Aothar, 6) Fenax, 7) Spider, 8) Drexthar Bloodtwin, 9) Mother Superior and 10) Kael
What affected my game the most was the clan boss. By working to get a team capable of doing a bare minimum of 18 million, I've been able to improve every other area. I'm on 20 dragon, 16 spider, and 19 ice golem, just by working on a 2-key nightmare.
Check out the Ayumilove website. It has every single stat, gear you need, masteries etc you need for every champ you can get in raid. Its absolutely an essential help for understanding how to build up your champs. Watch lots of raid help vids when you are offline like Ash here, also Hellhades explains things really well. There's Salt and Chofley (chosen) and a few others as well. Do your daily challenge list when you first log on. It gets you extra coin, energy, and hp boosts every day. Work on arena to get your great hall built up, and faction to add glyphs to your artifacts/gear to make them stronger. They dont cost energy. Its all about the grind in this game which can get boring, but you can use multibattle, and its really rewarding when you eventually get your champ kicking ass out there. Grind out your champs to get their levels up fast. Work on potions alot to get them ascended. Ask lots of questions and get in a clan as soon as you have a solid team. Sooner the better. Good luck :)
Oh and p.s. dont make the mistake of feeding rares or epics to any of your "good" champs early to early-mid game. You might waste someone really valuable. Farm only common and uncommon champs for food. And dont waste any epic or legendary books you get (i wasted like 5 legos sadly), they are really hard to get later on.
Steelskull is not a main pioson dealer imo. The % he has to aply the poison is realy low. He is more of a support champion then anything. Gives def up + heal, has bigger heal + removes debuffs. But if you have Nethrill already toghether with Bad el you might have to much poison and heal on your team. Runnig without Lifesteal gear is more then possible but who else do you run on CB? Rotos is a better option then Turvold tbh. I would suggest to have 2 def up champs if you dont run a speed team so that they can rotate between their def ups, but it all depends on what other 2 champs you are running for your CB and their speeds of course. Turvold is fun when he hits for 200k, but then he is done for if it is past round 20 on NM if there is no def up on him and a attack down on the CB... Rotos instead of turvold any day because he has more sustain and last longer, therefore also doing more dmg...

I was using Stag Knight until i pulled Madame Serris (booked her instead of him), where should i use him over her (spider and fire knight come to mind) ?
I have been playing for 28 days now and i am loving your video's. big fan and i play with most of your free to play guys., love Apothecary, Tayrel, Kael, and of course Coldheart. my problem is not knowing where to farm since i am really focused on farming scrolls for masteries right now that is usually what i use my 30 free turns on. keep them coming Ash and thank you for your time doing these.
I'm still pretty fresh player in Raid and for me two of the most used champs all around are:
Tayrel: Multihit weaken A1, Drop Defense on A2 and drop turn meter on A3 with a defense aura? Can't think many places in this game I wouldn't take him at this stage of my game.
Coldheart: The first champ I used 800 gems to get masteries. Dominates spider, fireknight, potion keeps and I'll even run her for Dragon just for the pure damage of Heartseeker. She's bonkers!
Love the list - 10 champs I use the Most, probably in order, (Venus, Arbiter, Miscreated Monster, Rotos, Rhazin, Coldheart, Peydma, Tayrel, Tyrant Ixlimor, Frozen Banshee)
Most used everywhere BEK Rotos Shiri. Tyrant & Mis Monster Spider 20 heroes, Gorgorab is my go to resurrection (Until i get Arbiter built right) Saurus is my farmer ( can do 12/3 7 seconds, Hats off to Coldbrew for him) Major on wishlist is Lisandra & Mad serris....LOL when you pulled lisandra i threw caution to the wind And pulled a bunch of shards trying to get her, yeah i know stupid, but i was real lucky on other 10x pulling martyr and eva....but now i have 7 RG & 6 Tayrel,guess i'll have to work on them now. As a mostly free to play player I have both Stag Knight and Tayrel. I have already invested a ton into Tayrel, he is fully booked. I noticed SK needs a lot of books. Is it still worth investing in him?

Steelskull is incredible for a tuned clan boos team. It takes some work getting him up to snuff, though. He's worthless on a speed tuned team until you book him up, too. Once he's booked, his debuff cleanse falls in line with CB's skill rotation, and his poisons have a much higher chance to proc.

Man, I use mostly the exact same champs as you do for the exact use cases you indicated. The only ones I do not use are Kymar and Bad El, and that is because I do not have them.
I also run Prince Kymar in arena, but I find him not applying sleep alot. No weak hits, no resist message popping up, simply not getting that sleep on. I don't know whats going on there, could possibly be resists but without any message popping up, his accuracy is only at 250. Have you noticed this as well?

Almost no one mentioned Miscreated Monster. He’s my best champ by far. I think I have him on almost every team in the game. Over 60k hp and I don’t even have the best gear yet. Another one I use a ton is Aothar. He deserves some love too.
I dont think too many people have him. I had two at one point but i ended up feeding it to my first so i could use him better in cb. He's pretty much a lego for sure. Love him.

I'v only been playing for a couple of months. So far, my go to's are Valla, Saurus, Athel, War Priest, and Sir Nicholas. I just got Tayrel, I'm leveling him up and looking forward to seeing what he can do.
In addition to some of the ones you already named, I use Duchess, Rhazin, and Tyrant in multiple times
Miscreated Monster and Sinesha are my two main champs I use in all areas. My 3rd is Lightsworn who i absolutly love and use everywhere except spider. Instead i'll use Kallia. High Katune (speed for cb, dungeons), Kallia (hp burn, heal reduct.), and Galek (more recently Ult. Galek), i use interchangably. I havent pulled a single lego since I starting playing last summer, but i recently got Valla, Zargala, Ult. Elhain and Ult. Galek and a few more i am currently building them up. I have umbral enchantress and a few others i should really build and use more.
I love your videos. They have completely changed my account. Your guides have helped my progression immensely. Currently, my biggest jam up is clan boss. Can only get to the second chest on Nightmare. I feel like I should be able to get the final chest but I'm missing something
I just pulled Miscreated Monster and Prince Kymar in the Sacred shard event... I am farming food so I can 6 star one of them but I cannot decide which. I am currently stuck at lvl 18 in spider and I think MM would make all the difference... but Kymar woudl help my arena teams. well tag team definitely but not sure how to fit him into my normal arena team. Current spider = Duchess Lilitu, Coldheart, Royal Guard, Cupidus, Tayrel (id replace lilitu with MM). My arena team is Duchess Lilitu, Longbeard, Cupidus, Madame Serris. (not sure how id work kymar into that). Any advice?
I use Krisk EVERYWHERE. He single-handedly sustains my entire team. He's ridiculous. I also use Bad-El in most places as well as Sepulcher Sentinal. I also use Frozen Banshee in CB, Dragon, Keeps, and Mino. I also recently bumped up Dark Elhain, and she sees play in arena and ice golem. I still use Kael in places, but I've been having a hard time getting a permanent replacement for him.
For me: Big'un for Campaign and wave control in dungeons. Dracomorph for sheer power anywhere I need it. Ma'Shalled is for debuffing and mass healing. Ignatius mostly in spider.
But over all of them.. the one character I use literally everywhere: Raglin. Healing and resurrection, she is the best champion I've ever pulled, and the one that I've worked on the hardest. Currently have her at 50,000 power, close to 20,000 higher than anyone else I have (over 200 resist).
Hey Ash. Nice video. Thanks for sharing your builds. Great information, and really cool to see how you are building your heroes. Overall very solid. Have a few comments though on some of your builds...
First, for Prince Kymar, IDK how he can survive as the speed lead in arena with only a speed around 260. Most people are running their Arbiters well over 300, in the 325 speed range, so that speed is simply not going to work by itself. Maybe running Prince Kymar leader for the speed aura, but also with a Lysandra secondary might get you the lead....
I used to use Prince Kymar in arena, but now that I have Madame Serris, I have switched over to her, with Arbiter as the speed leader. Madame Serris skills honestly are superior to Kymar. Stripping the buffs is only half the equation. The other half is putting the crucial decrease DEF debuff. The fact that Madame Serris puts that debuff "silently", without triggering an attack (and maybe generating counterattacks and boosting enemy turn meters through masteries) is amazing. This is better than Stag Knight too. She is the perfect setup hero for an AOE nuker in Arena.
For your Coldheart, you should not use a DEF% chest on her. Use a HP% chest instead. Yes, I know her DEF is extremely low, but that is precisely why a DEF% chest is not good on her. Her DEF is so low, that raising a really low number by 60% is still a low number. With a higher HP, the enemy AI will not target her as much, and will instead target another hero with a lower HP pool, even though they may be much less tanky. The enemy AI "sees" HP, but it does not "see" DEF. So use a HP% chest on her, but use DEF main stat for your ring, if you need to get her DEF higher.

Always enjoy your vids ash, after 39 days of playing (And a bit of spending...) I finally received my Apothecary!
The next day I accumulated some shards for the 10x High elves summon event, I was hoping for tayrel or Royal guard.
First shard I pull, Royal Guard. I was psyched and adjusted my wishlist and asked for tayrel or Miscreated monster (Fav champ next to Krisk)
And boom a few useless pulls later I get Miscreated monster! So I was really happy!
Decided to pull the last ancient shards I had, and actually pulled 2 EXTRA ROYAL GUARDS... Whut, Upgrades for days!
(and if that wasn't lucky enough... the next day I pulled Harvest Jack from a single FREE ancient shard, amazing)
I pulled 50 shards in the x2 ancients event and got 6 shitty epics so I think it’s safe to say I got the better luck out of the 2 of us.

I currently use Tayrel but have a Stag Knight sitting in my vault unused. You got me excited saying Stag Knight is better at the BeBuff role, but comparing their kits I'm trying to figure out why? Stag Knight has the speed reduction on A1 which is cool, but Tayrel has the Turn Meter reduction on A3, plus I like having the ATK down on the A1 instead of being tied to RNG with a cooldown on an A2. Plus there's Tayrel's DEF 25% Aura in All Battles which I use a LOT! Curious to know why you rate Stag Knight above him, would love to get some use out the Stag Man hey! haha
The only ones I have on your list is Tayrel. I do have Stag knight and I should start building him for arena. I also have Dark Elhain but I'm still struggling in Silver II so not many Tormins in sight for her to shine there. I am under stage 15 for most dungeons so my champs are a bit all over the place. I use Tayrel in clan boss, Spider, Dragon, Mino, and Ice Golem. I use Bellower in Mino, all the potion keeps, Ice Golem, and Dragons. I use Steelskull in Clan boss, Spiders, Ice Golem, Mino, Fire Knight, and Force Keep. I Use Apothecary in Clan boss, Dragons, Fire Knight, Arcane Keep, Spirit Keep, and Mino. I use Kael in Clan boss, Dragons, Spirit Keep, and Arcane Keep. I use High Katun for arena and Force keep. I use Shieldguard for Force keep and campaign farming. I use Armiger for Force Keep and Spiders.

Mostly been using Miscreated, Kael, and Apothecary in most situtations. I definitely need to work on other champions like Lua, Royal Guard (just realized I had him in my vault) and skullcrusher. Working on a poison clan boss team as well. Still a ton of work to do especially when it comes to building the right gear sets.
Stag Knight Hands down for me! He is in every one of my teams in all areas (Fully Booked), Also amazingly Black Knight since it's buff by Plarium has found itself in most of my teams (Defence up all the time has helped all my teams survive) plus when RnG spits on my face in Dragons it is hilarious seeing him take on the Dragon by himself and beat it. (I just about crapped my self when I saw him do it the first time lol)
I'd say I'm just reaching mid game.. maybe still early game (4+ Mil in clan boss 1 key). My most used Champs are Seducer, High Khatun, Tayrel , Mausoleum mage and Vizier.
Always use Krisk the Ageless.. he's a void and on LITERALLY all my dungeon 20 teams. Valkyrie, Minaya, Nethril and Zavia are also my go-tos for almost anything. And, depending on the affinity, I have to use either Stag Knight or Tayrel. Kymar is a staple on my Arena team as well.
long live duchess, i just hate the developers bc they removed her ability under veil 40% decrease attacks with the recent patch update but still she is my best champ ;)

valk, krisp, and big-un/dracomorph. litterally use krisp and valk everywhere. she kinda serves as my healer with the big as shield and krisp works really well with her in order to make her shield more effective and he's able to take the extra and heal it back. big un can go to most places the only place I don't use him in is clan boss and draco is my god for clan boss but he doesn't really have a place anywhere else, ill occasionally put him in arena but pretty rarely.
Ash i'm a 100% f2p player and i'm getting a little discourage about the VarGall fusion, it's taking ALL my resources (already farmed all skulls tho) and i feel maybe i could be using them in other stuff idk... You think it's worth it?
No its not worth it but youve allready come this far, whats the point of backing out now? Plus he might get buffed in the future and you can use him on faction wars. Doesnt hurt having him.

Replace seeker with arbiter for a speed aura and maybe replace thenasil with another nuker although zavia should be more than enough so that's up to you. If you have an aoe poisoner they can work wonders with zavia.

Seeker. Seeker, Seeker, Seeker, oh my god. The turn cycling is so good, taunt with evil eye is crazy powerful in the arena, and the sneaky 60% defense boost when he takes a crit. As a newer player without legendaries, especially without Arbiter, Seeker is hard-carrying me through this game.
after watching this video, it makes me want to build a Dark Elhain, since I only 4 Lego, and I don't think they can help me on progressing much in my team comps, Tomb Lord, Skatorsis, Lugan the Steadfast, and skull-lord. I have Stag Knight, M.mage, these kinda do the similar jobs as the Lego that I got. Lugan and skull Lord are kinda out of place without awesome gear in my place, and I haven't 6 stars them yet. Ash, can help me out and look over my account to see what I can do for better progression?

So far my top at this moment in time is Fang Cleric and I have him in heart which grants a chance for an extra turn. Oddly enough even though it says 10%, I think it’s more like 45% for it triggers a LOT with him.
Also his auto setup sort of goes - Attack, extra turn, heal, full turn meter, attack, extra turn and then attack.
Apothecary (everywhere, except CB since I got SKullcrusher), Stag Knight (everywhere, except CB), Altan (lead in CB, IG, Dragon, and keeps)
Whisper for sure, Ultimate Galek, Shaman, Miscreated Monster and recently Dark Elhain! She’s up there with Whisper and Ultimate Galek for my top 3 most powerful! I just pulled a Cillian the Lucky but I can’t bring myself to get rid of him....

I have a max ability, and ascend stag knight. One of my best unit's as of right now. I'm rather new to the game (I finished all maps 3 star for brutal) I don't have access to all of the right tools to fine tune him to speed, but that is what I went for I would say he had 180-190 speed as of right now. Reliquary Tender is one of my most used champions because I'm poor. Razin and Tayrel are used in a lot of my teams as well. I'll probably move over to Stag Knight once I get some gear for him.
Aside from Coldheart and Apthecarry , ever since I pulled my *Skartorsis* like 3 months back he been in every team I use (except for Clan Boss.) Amazing in Arena as support , Amazing as Dungeon Lead. Amazing in Factions . HE's JUST THAT GOOD. he can even be a Campaign farmer (not sure why would u build him like that but w/e).
PS. SteelSkull isin't used cuz of his poisons , because it have very low apply chanse (think of it as a cherry on top) he is mainly used for aoe 60% Def n Heal + cleanse againts CB stun .
My most used is Valkyrie, she is my only lego F2P, I use her everywhere except Campain Farming, but she is in my 3 star duo.
After that my most used are Royal and Apoth, just because they are both in basically all my dungeons.

I find Harvest Jack is the perfect counter to Bad El-Kazar. His Dreams to Ash ability turns all those continuous heal buffs to poison. Bad El doesn't last long against my team.
Dutchess Lilitu, Tayrel, Ma Shalled, Big Un, Coldheart, Seer, Miscreated Monster, Rotos, Skullcrown. Du Li and Tay everywhere. Steelskull and Frozen Banschee for CB.
Duchess Lilitu + Apothecary in literally everything except campaign farming. Arena, clan boss, every single dungeon, faction wars. F2P life I got super lucky to pull Duchess as my first legendary (And only legendary for a long long time)
My main overall champions are Cupidus, Skullcrusher, Skullcrown, Miscreated Monster, Dark Athel and Gorgorab. I use Skullcrusher, Occult Brawler, Jareg, Dark Athel and Cupidus for CB but I want to swap my Tayrel in to replace Jareg and Dark Athel and then put my Thenasil or Gorgorab in as a healer, with my current team I'm able to 3 key Nightmare and 1 key Brutal most of the time.
I use Septimus everywhere, A1 for farming and arena offense, A2 and passive for clan boss
Mistreated monster, stag knight, royal guard, Valkyrie, cold heart, dark Elhain... it’s almost a mantra now after watching RUclips videos. They make your teams a lot easier to run.
Relatively new here, that said my three most used are Athel, Vrask, and Tayrel.
Miscreated Monster, Scyl of the Drakes, Trunda Giltmallet, Stag Knight, Coldhearth (Lvling up second one) and Kael are my most used champs... Miscreated Monster changed my char insanely much... still have 90 days to go to get Scyl from daily logins :D
I am newer to the game, but I was lucky enough to pull both Kael and Tayrel this weekend, so that's the 2 heroes I am rocking rn

If you get a chance to check something out when it comes to spiders den... I have a trunda and I noticed there's a defense mastery that has a chance to place leech when using different forms of cc so I tried it out and it works very well I was really surprised
The only place I still use Tayrel is in Spider 20 as my tank. He used to be used in everything but I slowly got better champs.

How do you learn all the aspects of this game and moving forward as playing?
By playing.
What affected my game the most was the clan boss. By working to get a team capable of doing a bare minimum of 18 million, I've been able to improve every other area. I'm on 20 dragon, 16 spider, and 19 ice golem, just by working on a 2-key nightmare.
Check out the Ayumilove website. It has every single stat, gear you need, masteries etc you need for every champ you can get in raid. Its absolutely an essential help for understanding how to build up your champs. Watch lots of raid help vids when you are offline like Ash here, also Hellhades explains things really well. There's Salt and Chofley (chosen) and a few others as well. Do your daily challenge list when you first log on. It gets you extra coin, energy, and hp boosts every day. Work on arena to get your great hall built up, and faction to add glyphs to your artifacts/gear to make them stronger. They dont cost energy. Its all about the grind in this game which can get boring, but you can use multibattle, and its really rewarding when you eventually get your champ kicking ass out there. Grind out your champs to get their levels up fast. Work on potions alot to get them ascended. Ask lots of questions and get in a clan as soon as you have a solid team. Sooner the better. Good luck :)
Oh and p.s. dont make the mistake of feeding rares or epics to any of your "good" champs early to early-mid game. You might waste someone really valuable. Farm only common and uncommon champs for food. And dont waste any epic or legendary books you get (i wasted like 5 legos sadly), they are really hard to get later on.

Steelskull is not a main pioson dealer imo. The % he has to aply the poison is realy low. He is more of a support champion then anything. Gives def up + heal, has bigger heal + removes debuffs. But if you have Nethrill already toghether with Bad el you might have to much poison and heal on your team. Runnig without Lifesteal gear is more then possible but who else do you run on CB? Rotos is a better option then Turvold tbh. I would suggest to have 2 def up champs if you dont run a speed team so that they can rotate between their def ups, but it all depends on what other 2 champs you are running for your CB and their speeds of course. Turvold is fun when he hits for 200k, but then he is done for if it is past round 20 on NM if there is no def up on him and a attack down on the CB... Rotos instead of turvold any day because he has more sustain and last longer, therefore also doing more dmg...
