Chicago, the NBA's biggest stadium, is a fitting location for the global team that was drafted this year! And I don't think the team should stop there. This reporter believes that a starting lineup of Lorbeck Ingram, Jet, Gadzuric, and Clingan should be looked at in the near future. This year will be rocky anyways, and with Gadzuric and Clingan towering down low, why not pressure cook the whole rookie class and develope them at an accelerated rate? Ingram is going to need an All Star bid to keep from regressing, Lorbeck could be mentored by him for his shooting, and playing time increases that for both of them. Patrick Williams might replace Gadzuric, but Pat cannot stop the bigger PFs in the league, better to trade him for future draft picks/youth. This might lead to what some pundits call 'tanking', but I simply say to them... Trust the Process. Keep up the great show!
Hmmm... I like where your head's at. Rookie development is definitely the priority. Thing is... can I sit through another year of tanking? I don't know 😭
Well, one thing that would make the transition easier; with The Process Lineup, all the starters will be 6'8+ in height. Imagine all that switch-ability! (Ingram proceeds to be ragdolled by Embiid) .....what about training Lorbeck as a Combo Guard? The offensive side will improve with Ingram's Mentorship, and his passing is good enough that it will improve naturally. His biggest need is really his defense and physicality, which Combo Guard training hits on, while touching on all around awareness/defense/scoring
