Because one day at Royal Ascot isn’t enough…here we go again for Round Two, and this time it is Gold Cup day! I am absolutely delighted to be attending today with LK Bennett on possibly one of the most glorious days of the year. I had so much fun with a gorgeous group of girls, and I will never get over the exhilaration of watching the horse racing, spotting the fashion and partaking in one of the most iconic events of the British Summer Social Season.

P.S. Yes, there is a procedure of putting hats (big hats) on unless you have a Bentley like our late Queen that has a high roof and wide doors. Hubby calls it the Coronation. You put them on when you get out of a vehicle and off getting back in.

Prayers needed for my Little Sophie one of my doxie pups. She had to go into surgery today as she had some fibers she had eaten im her stomach. So last night was an emergency drive to the best surgeon in my area that was a couple hours drive. She just got out of surgery and is doing well. Her little sis is missing her. May go get her tomorrow. You know how it is when our babies get sick or hurt, im beside myself.
Also did you get monetized? The commercials are many and very long! Kind of feels like watching TV now with too many commercials. Hope we can fix that! The only reason I watch mostly you and a few others is they don't have many breaks in their vlogs!

Another lovely vlog - you looked simply stunning. The hat was a great match for the dress and acted as a sun shade to boot. When you were showing the garments in the LK Bennett pop-up shop I questioned your reference to tweed when you showed the white jacket but I Googled it and discovered that Coco Channel was inspired by the tweed jackets worn by men and commissioned tweed boucle to be made, which is softer, coarser and has naturally larger slubs than straight tweed - who knew.

I have to frank. When I saw you @ Vivian Sherif's boutique/salon I did not like that hat. It reminded me of a paper doile that you would put a Victoria sponge cake on. However..., I have changed my mind. Stunning outfit!!!!!! Really like/love that hat a lot. Wish I could re-activate a SR71 and borrow it for just 30 minutes for tomorrow morning. We sat in a lovely garden area with tables and cream umbrellas and flowers. We had a wonderful picnic hamper and bubbles of course. I can only imagine what Ascot must feel like !! x
