- The most evil chord came into being the day Satan was kicked out of Heaven. Desperate to express his emotions, the devil searched for a harmony to ease his agony. After 666 hrs of struggle, beelzebub found what he was searching for. The fully diminished 7th chord muahahah

I shit you not, when I played this for the first time, there a massive rumble of thunder over my house.
You connected with the music of the spheres!
I love full diminished arpeggiated chords. I love starting one a half-step below the tonic, especially below the minor position (Aeolean) and the major position (Ionian) of a key, but also a half-step below a Mixolydian Position or Minor Blues Scale/Minor Pentatonic.
I just throw 'em in, whether I'm in Harmonic Minor or not.
Excellent Lesson here, Shred! Thanks!
Speaking of evil, have you ever heard Godzilla film composer Akira Ifukube's final Godzilla Score? It's one of his best and very groundbreaking
"Main Title/Hong Kong Destruction" from Godzilla vs Destoroyah (1995)
It's also Ifukube's most evil score! Featured on RUclips from Kaiju Opera
That sounds right up my alley
Bro you live on another plane and I'm here for it
It's so "evil" because it even sounds cool on a Bosendorfer.😆
Evil chords are my favorite, they are for me the most emotionally containing notes
I agree. More emotional depth and range. Happy chords seem more shallow
You're the best bro, I always learn something new from you and incorporate it in my music. Respect!
I recommend you the guitar player nasib and the bands aeternam, khepri and shades of black. Today I listened to egyptian metal and I remember watching your video with exotic chords. The exotic and evil chords for me are the best
0:22 you scared me, when you laughed like that.
Nice work shred!
I'm still blown away by the diminished triad contained in every Dominant Seventh Chord!
Yeah that’s cool AF!
Hell's horses....I didn't realize this before....I need to go check this out when I get home
@@LordArithon It blew my mind! Two chords in one! Major Triad plus Diminished Triad = Dominant 7th Chord! I felt like the guy who realized that Komodo Dragons actually have venom glands!
@@LordArithon Try this out: Strum a G7 and then noodle around in G Mixolydian, G Dominant Pentatonic, G Minor Pentatonic, G Blues Scale, any G Blues stuff you got....
Then strum G7 again and play around in G Phrygian Dominant (from the C Harmonic Minor Scale), along with B diminished 7th chords and D diminished 7th chords (arpeggiated and/or stummed).
Such a great twist on possibly the most used Dominant 7th Chord (1st used in its most common playground of G Blues & Mixolydian Rock flavors and then followed by Baroque/Metal G Phrygian Dominant and its related diminished flavors).
BTW, the hidden diminished triad in G7 is B diminished.
@@voronOsphere hahaha an exercise in G by voronOsphere!
When this showed up in my feed it looked like fluff but the music theory in the content was great.
Adding this one right up
Those see some beautiful tomatoes you have growing behind you. 0:21
it's neither of what you're thinking.
It resolves up to major chords and down to their relative minors
Invisible 👕
Massa Scott. You should review TheDooo's music. Not that it has anything to do with this video, but cuz I wanna know what the key of ethereal is and stuff
Awesome!
Love it
That could open a aincient tomb or somthing.
Is that what you are hinting at by wearing that head piece😮
Damned man,
That’s scary
Greetings from the Isle of Man!
🙏🤘🖕
Ahahah ahah
Somebody watches Doctor Who ;)
