The best part of that line is that, in both contexts, the answer to that question is "still a god", at which point the "god" proceeds to beat the hell out of the "non believer."

Yeah, it's a saiyan trait. I think the intention is a reference to the phrase "monkey see monkey do" since they have the tails.
Yes they can do it all but vegeta is usually the one after to actually be able to pick up on his opponent ability and traits quicker than goku I’m not talking about in battle but his ability to master spirit better than goku in a shorter time his ability to see what jiren was doing in battle and after even after fighting moro he became more crafty in the granolah arc before getting ultra ego
Being a Vegeta fan for a while, I’m happy as hell his getting the recognition for his hard work.

@@foxblack2176but that's why we like him, Goku always wins, even when he is on the verge of dying, someone calls his name emotionally, then a tune starts playing then we see a transformation that makes him so powerful that he wins the match like he was a 21y/o fighting a 3y/o, it was surely something we used to like when we were young, but now we understand that sometimes, we lose, only to come back stronger, exactly like Vegeta, and that's why we love him

Bro I got chills from the Ultra Ego Vegeta transformation 6:31 . I hope if/when that scene comes to the anime they dont butcher it. It's definitely gonna be one of the most memorable/iconic moments in dragonball history.

how well akira thought about the development of the 2 of them, each one specializing in their own style but combined they are very strong (although black freezer defeats them in one hit I think they were tired because they didn't stop much between the fight of granola and gass).I firmly believe that there will never be another fusion between the 2 of them, either gogeta or vegetto, because if there was, they would be a PERFECT being with the ABILITY OF THE ANGELS (ultra instinct) and THE POWER OF THE GODS OF DESTRUCTION (ultra ego).
Yes, Freiza downed them because they were tired but he’s also just out of their league. During that fight with Moro, near the end, Vegeta and Goku are trying to figure out the perks of their abilities (Instinct and Ego). Vegeta learns he gets stronger from damage and Goku does the energy being thing. Both are only tastes of what they’ll be able to accomplish. So with some training, they’ll destroy Frieza I think.
As for the fusion thing, I think the ‘perfect being’ idea is all the more reason for that to happen. I mean what’s the point of introducing a multiverse if you’re not going to use that to create a multiversal enemy? They’ve already established the power scaling with the gods, angels and Zeno and such. Gods and Angels are the lower end of that scale and Goku and Vegeta are close to surpassing that. So I’m thinking a Thanos level enemy might arrive at some point.

They weren’t that weakened even against Frieza. Gas didn’t go significant damage against them and monaito literally healed them to full health prior to gas killing him.

Vegeta and Goku's dynamic is my favorite in the manga. They really feel like equals who take the spotlight of main character, people who complain about Vegeta's depiction overlook how far he has gotten and how many mayor accomplishments he achieves in every single arc when compared to even Goku himself (heck, even in the arc he isn't present, the super hero arc, he accomplishes the feat of beating Goku in a sparing match without transformations. Vegeta is treated like the main character more often than not, an equal to Goku in ways most "secondary" characters from other shows could only dream of).
Sasuke ain’t got shit on Naruto for example.

Man Vegeta's time is coming but i think it has been in the works. If I'm not mistaken he will avenge the Saiyans against Frieza one on one and he will get back at Beerus for disrespecting his father.
The manga definitely depicts it better than the anime.
While that's true, I still feel as though Toriyama tends to tease Vegeta fans way too much by pretending to maybe let Vegeta beat the big bad, before taking the rug out from under him.
Think of Dragonball like a dining room. Goku and Toriyama sit at the head of the table and eat the best meals. Sometimes Toriyama invites Gohan to sit down as well.
Vegeta normally sits very close to the main table, and sometimes eats the appetizers from it. Sometimes Toriyama treats Vegeta with respect, but whenever the main dish arrives, he never hesitates to give Vegeta the boot back to the second table, while Toriyama and Goku eat, and sometimes Gohan as well.
This process has repeated itself for years now, and Vegeta and his fans are quite annoyed that they've always gotten kicked out of eating the main course with the top dogs next door. Meanwhile other characters who normally eat much worse food at way worse tables look at the situation from afar and wonder why Vegeta is complaining at all since he gets better food then them rather consistently, because they've grown very complacent in their status save Piccolo who very recently, who joined Vegeta again at the second table.

Goku trains to be the strongest and surpasses vegeta with pure training and will, but vegeta takes the anger of being the prince of sayians yet still being outdone by kakarot and forces himself to become stronger, given his ego. They each push the other further beyond, they might even surpass zeno soon. Also very nice video 👌
