- First time ever riding a KONE MonoSpace DX which is part of KONE's new generation elevator series with connectivity features (I still don't get with how it actually work as it's complicated to tell). It also uses a new controller called KCE; notice how the arrow slides when it changes direction and the way the special message (in this case, "CALL LOCKED") scrolls faster than before. Too bad all the floors except the rear second floor are locked out but thanks to a stair that goes down to the lower floor I can still ride the elevator even if it's just one floor.
Sadly this elevator replaced an old 1970s Reber Schindler freight elevator (video by Heritage Elevators: • R.I.P awesome original... . The building was previously a furniture store and is now an office.

KONE MY FAVOURITE
This is my favorite Kone!
Really quick for a KONE DX Class elevator.
I have yet to ride the Asian version of KONE DX elevator. My local KONE office told me that they've just installed a KONE DX MonoSpace bed elevator (with either KDS 220 or 330 fixtures) in a hospital but sadly it's way too far from the area where I lives.
@@idl3k_elev oof. I know Thailand has two of them
I've seen that quick scroll indicator on the outside LOP indicators at Melbourne Central that have the rare proper lantern and indicator combo (sadly, inside is slightly less stupid but still kind of lame LCD). I wonder if all of that lantern has it or if some have the proper KDS indicator. It's quite interesting how Europe got a completely different indicator for this generation, as opposed to KDS which is just the old KDS 50/300 indicator with a new layout (special messages reveal its true nature).
For a moment I thought this was a KDS 220 until I see the car operating panel. I wonder if there's any place in Indonesia with a DX.
There are already a handful of brand new KONE DX elevators installed in Indonesia. There is one at a newly built hospital in Payangan (near Ubud, Bali) according to my local KONE office, but it's way too far from where I lives and it's in a place where I normally won't visit unless I really have something to do there.
