Jake , I miss your videos , but thankfully we can rewatch all your content always on RUclips.
Recirculating is all I needed to hear 👍🏻
I aways like you videos you give use new things to look at .thank you for helping all the newbies
One really has to appreciate the attention to detail! 6:25 - the Tunze light is used to light up the skimmer UNDERWATER for the camera. Very creative and it worked out great!
1am: very sleepy. RB upload: wide awake O.O
Once again, a video that doesn’t apply to me or my set up, but here is a comment and a like!
Imagine 1 guy thinking a channel with 80,000 subscribers should be all about him. Lol.
@@timanders3151 I think he was saying he still liked the video even though it doesn’t apply to him or his needs
@@timanders3151 tim i can buy likes and subscribres the skimmer is shit
Nice Review...Love your enthousiasm Jake. Definetly going to consider this skimmer for my show tank.
This looks awesome. My next skimmer. I have a large tunze with a similar design. Love it
So interesting! Thank you for sharing!
These look awesome! Nice to see some new designs
Back to the old school seaswirl design and function. Look forward to seeing how it performs long term👍 Who's carrying it now
Aqua Cave in Gurnee Illinois is the only place I know of
Thanks to Jake's review I pulled the trigger on the Aquavitro Division 125 model and couldn't be happier! Assembly was super simple, I litterally had it in the sump ready for start up in just under 15 minutes, then after only a few adjustments to the water and air flow this beast started pulling out skim mate. The whole process from unboxing to skim mate miraculously took less than 40 minutes! I honestly feel like I stole this little monster for $246.05 with free Fed X delivery to my front door! I installed it Saturday and as of today, Monday, she hasn't missed a beat nor needed any adjustments! I never even dreamt I'd find a skimmer with this kind of power, range, quality, or small footprint anywhere near this price point! You can bet these will be changing the whole skimmer game big time!
Just bought the 125 for my WB 4820 peninsula, hopefully I’ll have the same performance with mine as you did. Also looking into the element M for a media reactor. Want to keep the same in the aquavitro family. I think their product line looks great!
@@MarioGomez-gt4ed I'm sure it will Mario, mine is still preforming better than any skimmer I've ever owned or even seen. Please let us know how yours progresses!
@@MarioGomez-gt4ed Good choice Mario you'll be glad you pulled the trigger! Also look into Aquarium Munster products, it's a German company with some of the the same people behind it like Lou & Leslie Ekus!
More of these videos, please! 😂👍
Cool skimmer, hadn't seen one of these before. Would love to see a video on current Calcium Reactors as I'm probably going to need one before long.
You could perhaps double that up as an Algae scrubber and get the spinning affect.
Im using this, I bought the 500 because for the money seemed the best deal for my more heavily stocked 100g reef. I have large corals and about 8-9 fish. So what I did was I modified this skimmer but adding a Sicce Pk 200 as the recirculating pump but I also added the venturi to it. So that now much more air is being injected into the water column. To me its the best of both worlds.
Are you still using this setup?
I bought the Aquavitro Division 250 from a local dealer. Out of the box the pump was having issues. I contacted Seachem. They told me the skimmer needed a 1-2 week break-in. I told them that the pump wasn't functioning properly. I reached out 4 more times, they have ignored my requests for technical support. No response at all. Out $325, I decided to get something higher end so I bought the Maxpect Aeraqua Duo. What a fantastic skimmer. Ingenious design, expertly made, quiet and powerful. I've been running it trouble free for over a year.
Sold, Any chance of a video of it set up as a recirculating skimmer?
Hi I don't know if you can give me an answer, you have tried both brands, but between ultrareef 120 and aquavitro 125, evaluating all aspects except the economic one, which one do you recommend to take?
great video keep them coming
My deltec protein skimmer is best for me super quiet death silent powerful pump high skimming and space saving and also power saving
I second that! Simple without all the gimmicks.
Wish they could make one of these skimmers for aquariums without a sump and especially nano.
Great video 👍👍👍
Hello I bought the dimension 125, you have removed the screw that is in the venturi that regulates the flow of water, why? I have a problem I have adjusted the height of the foam on the edge of the main cylinder without the glass, as per instructions but the foam afterwards does not rise in the glass, for what reason?
Lol still interested in a frag if that Xmas rock! Always watched your channels n read some articles but haven't seen anything about you selling corals. Lol am I just blind n missed it all this time? Lol either way nice vid n interesting skimmer. Can't wait for like a follow up few months down n see how u like it for longer haul
whats the scoop with the calcium reactor to the left?
My experience has been a nightmare. Ordered online from a group in Oregon and they had no intention of fulfilling. Paid for the 250 gallon and days went by when they said it was in stock. Then they said they do no have it BUT they have the larger one. So I paid a whopping difference totaling over 400.00 total and they never sent that, Then called Seachem and they said you have to purchase in person in a store not sold online ? I have no store where I am at that sells this. So now I filed with Visa and they will go after them. Never since 1990's buying skimmers have ever had such a nightmare. 🤨
Is this a modified sea clone, which you talked about the pump.
Looks good
Like the Ganesha poster. 🕉️
It’s a really good marine & reef themed Ganesha too
Got me sold jake need one for the new 300 build
Oooo spinning product placement
When is this protein skimmer available for purchase?
Very interesting
Jake, what you suggest for a skimmer for a Waterbox P25mini?
No skimmer, only water changes
Was that a built in sock in the outlet?
It's all about injection molding. Skimmers that rely on CNC produced parts are more expensive. Simple as that.
Do an update on mangrove tank please
What about that calcium reactor in the back of the shot?
Kalkreactor
@@ReefBuildersVideo I need one!
Whatt is that filter sock
Brah. You missed the filter sock looking thing.
Lmao I was thinking the same thing, not even one word about it. Assuming to clean up anything coming from the outlet/reduce micro bubbles?
If u have to have anything attached to a skimmer to catch bubbles exiting then its got to be a crap skimmer
@@dragonskinstudio I may disagree. Extra filtration. No skimmer pulls out 💯.
@@tritontr21 that is not what i said.
How much noise does it make?
Ax or dc pump?
Bioiioooog noise
Jake, why 2 shirts?......;)
I'll stick to my own home made skimmers
@K Slay cant post photos in youtube. But i can show ya on facebook
I try the 500 one very bad skimmer , not doing anything i lose my money !
Talk about bang for the buck then feature coral box skimmers. Massive skimmers with great performance and under priced compared to allot of the other brands.
construction does look very cheap, with plastic that would prob break if you looked at it wrong!
Stay firsty my friends!
interesting design, but construction looks cheap
Can it handle ozone?
The better skimmers are: Deltec, GROTECH (HEA), H&S Aquaristik, Royal Exclusiv, Schuran and TUNZE!!!
Precisely. That’s is why WWC uses Reef Octopus.
@@cegentry made in China!!! 👎👎👎
@@AngelArroba1 sucks but what isn’t?
I tell you Tunze products have been so hit or miss for me it isn’t funny. So much for German engineering. 🤣
My Made In China Ecotech Vortech MP40’s are leaps and bounds better than any Tunze pump I have owned and the customer service has been the best I have ever experienced if I did have issues.
So go ahead and pay $1500 for a bottom of the line Royal Exclusive skimmer. Your pockets are clearly deeper than mine. As is most everyone else’s in this hobby.
Have we heard a time frame for release? Interested but don't want to wait a year
Mojjjy what😆😆
Too much parts... too much pastic...
lol, is your skimmer made out glass or metal? Ceramic maybe?
irregardless is a fake word
I slipped in there just for you ;-)
i waste my money on this skimmer
Why do you say that? It uses basically the same pump as many other skimmers and costs a lot less.
