    Tim,
    I'm enjoying these bites sized lessons.
    Haha, I'm more of a summer 75° & 40-45% RH. Very comfortable! As a guy & family with allergies, I learned that dust mites can not propagate below 50% RH, so I've kept my dehumidifier at 40-45% year round.

      Thank you. ACCA Design humidity is 50-55%. In humid climates it is very hard to get below that without consuming a tremendous amount of energy. I wonder if MERV 13 could help with dust mites...

      @timdestasiohvac Yes & that 50-55% is awesome in general. Yes, the MERV 13+ is a must and would help handle airborne mites stirred up by activity. However, the alergy issue is to STOP them from propagating, which requires
