@@disc_traders sorry, I hope this is not been too nosey / indepth, I'm just wondering as I try to keep under the vat limit as it seems to get more complicated for accounting, but I noticed on your eBay account about me page, does not detail a VAT registration number, I've read in the past that flat rate vat sellers have had issues as buyers request a vat receipt but I believe the flat rate seller can't offer a vat receipt, which can cause confusion..... So my main question would be, do ebay business account have an option for the flat vat rate seller, so that they do not have to show their vat number... To avoid confusion to the buyer... Hope that is not too much of a nosey question.
A vat number should be being displayed on my account. People have previously asked for vat receipt and they've been confuses about only 7.5% but thats all I can provide to them 😅
Hey man! Love your videos Just curious about postage, I assume you charge customers for postage on top of what you sell them for? I’m based in Ireland it’s extortionately expensive to post a single game if I want to get tracking number , minimum of €9 for a single game in a large letter envelope It makes it impossible to compete on price with everyone else I know you’re in the Uk but just curious what way you do it Cheers
Free postage, everything tracked 48 with royal mail and because I send 10,000+ per year then I get a discounted price of £2.30 large letter up to 750g and £3 parcel up to 60x41x41cm 2kg
@@disc_traders wow, that’s really good value compared to what we’d pay over here Do you ship worldwide or just within the UK? Obviously the customer base in the Uk is extremely bigger than Ireland , I find a lot of people don’t use eBay in Ireland too Thanks for the info anyways , looking forward to future videos :)
How much do you pay for titles and based on what? I've got a number of ps2 games.i wanna get rid of (some are good titles such as silent hill) with a few fodder Cba to deal with individual buyers so rather just sell as a bulk deal
Why not just putting games in alphabetical order ....seems like it would take more time to print lables and catalogue. The alphabet is already a catalogue system and its already printed on the case 🤷♂️ Gotta give you orops though seems like a very efficient setup you have!
Ok i can see the way your sku system works but you will have to keep up on the numbers you have sold to replemish that number which may be abit long let us know how it goes please
I just never use the same number again. I can go up to 99999 and hopefully by then I can restart back at 1 as hopefully every low number will have sold
I know you have a lot of stuff but is there no way to do it at home the cost of your lockup seems like dead money ..just a thought as don’t know your setup at home
I want to separate work from home, the unit is a 1 minute walk from my house and have been dying to move into a place like this and fully plan to utilise every part of it. And the price is a no brainer for the size
Why do you stress yourself with small items with low profit margin? Why not just dabble in brand new inventory? Just buy consoles and resell those with a margin of 50 pounds profit each? No warehouse system required either because they're all visible and in the box. No cleaning and no wasted time inspecting every minute detail or dealing with replacing parts. I mean I work and it pays 20 an hour but if I wasn't I would definitely look into the new stock instead.
Consoles requires a hell of a lot more time than the games. And even in this slump I'm making more than 20 an hour. The system may seem overkill at the moment but it won't when I've expanded to cover the whole of the warehouse
@@shayrickles-mcgreal7122 most of the time? Definitely not. Most of the time you're buying up everything at car boot sales, charity shops, auctions, Facebook market place
You're clearly getting into your stride with the videos now. Enjoying your content a lot. Thanks for sharing.
Love the videos mate, where do you buy the clear bags for the games? Cheers
Thanks for watching, please see the "answering your questions" video as there is a link in the description 😊
Great videos, just subscribed, but I was wondering, how come your VAT was 7.5 percent on the sale as opposed to 20 percent VAT rate?
Flat rate scheme. I can't claim vat on purchases, but I pay a flat 7.5% on the whole sale.
@@disc_traders ah, thank you, I shall look into that

Great video jak, I photograph the SKU too. I’ve found a few times the sku disappears
Thank you for another super cool video trying to learn and pick up as much as I can - hate hav8ng to look up the value of games when at a car boot
Might wanna blur out the customer names and postcodes seen at 5:55!

Please get in touch via Instagram. As said in videos I pay between cex cash and voucher
How do you post your disc only games? As letters or large letters?
All large letter as of tracked 48 doesn't do letters

Will answer when I make a video about the system. There is lots of benefits in comparison.

I guess I shouldnt bother with cleaning every game i list?
Depends on the condition, I clean basically everything unless the disc is already basically mint
Hi mate what size store do u have
I have a featured store
Is there a link to your ebay anywhere?
I don't include it due to it doesn't help store traffic if people look but don't buy anything. But you can find it easy enough

Resellers killing it for collectors . ....😢
Soz, got to make a living somehow. And still providing the games, just not as cheap as you want them to be
Why? Most the time we are dragging these games out of someone’s loft and making them available to the wider market.

I'm a reseller AND a collector. Reselling is THE best way to collect. My entire collection was FREE.
People have been in this business in every industry since the start of the economy.
They are not ruining it for collectors.
