  • A step-by-step tour of my experience as an online student at Southern New Hampshire University. How to navigate the SNHU user interface, get into your classes and start tackling the assignments. What to expect from your professors on the first day of class and throughout the rest of an 8 week term (rubrics, rubrics, rubrics). As you watch this video you will begin to see that it isn't that hard to meet this challenge. Once you know the routine, you just do it everyday, one step at a time and before you know it, you've graduated. I'll show you my routine and give you my best insights based on my experience as an online student at SNHU where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA (Suma Cum Laude).

That's how I feel, Im an adult and I have too many other responsibilities, I'm not interested in clubs or such, I need to be focused on just studying and getting my degree, because I work full time and have other goals. So it's nice to hear Im not alone

I'm with you. Just keep your head down and pout one foot in front of the other until you can't put another foot forward (but you can always take "just one more step). Next thing you know, you will look up and be at the finish line.

Clubs are really about building connections and future networks. But we have SNHU connect for that.

I sincerely appreciate the detailed information you provided regarding the SNHU curriculum. Your video should be considered for inclusion in their orientation materials. While SNHU does provide information on support groups, I found your video to be particularly informative and beneficial for us new students. I was disappointed to discover that SNHU does not offer live classes, as I value the interaction with fellow students in my previous online computer science courses. However, I am encouraged by the lower tuition at SNHU. Additionally, I am aware that students can create groups for interaction. I extend my best wishes to everyone on this forum and hope that we will all graduate in either 2026 or 2027.

Your video and how you walk through the set up is BETTER than anything SNHU provides!!! Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to do this video! As an SNHU student just starting out the layout and everything of the site is foreign to me so this was very helpful!

I'm in my final term at SNHU. I had a few difficult professors who basically ruined my high GPA. But, it is what it is. Other than that, SNHU is a great online college experience.

I have experienced this with another online college and with a brick and mortar college as well. It happens.

Yeah, Professor Clark did that to my GPA. Professors shouldn't be allowed to grade beyond the parameters of the rubrics.

Thank you for this video. It is a really thorough and helpful. Love how you gave your genuine personal opinion on how you proceed with the course and made this exactly step by step of how to navigate through the portal. My questions is how many courses did you take each term? How many hours did you study and complete modules each day? How long did it take you to graduate?

This is amazing! Im in my late 30´s mom & wife, need something quick & easy to navigate. Now my questions to you are, Did you have college credits before? If not did you use Sofia, straighterline or any of those other platforms to transfer credits? I am also considering general studies with a concentration on psychology. What classes are you required to take for general studies? Thank you so much for this video, absolutely what I was looking for!

Early 30s mom here stay at home. Looking into psychology as well. Look for the youtube page "college hacked" He does a great job at explaining how to advance in your degree with Sofia, staighterline and cleps. My snhu admissions counselor said that speaking to our advisor about possibly taking sofia courses while enrolled and tag teaming both is definitely a possibility and they'll help us with figuring out which exams to take for credit. Good luck with your studies ❤
