Ooh! On a second listening. Both Hexham and Haltwhistle claim to be the centre of Britain. Because my dad was born just outside of Haltwhistle..I'm going for that!
I fall asleep so quickly now, your voice is like sunlight and circadian rhythm 😅. Each episode needs replaying the next day.
I infuse my voice with zolpidem
LOVE THIS! Thank you so much for this because I have trouble relaxing and sleeping ! But I love listening to you and you help me to fall asleep! And in the mornings, I listen again to start my day! Wonderful! Thanks! Xx❤
That's exactly what i want to hear!
Such a fun episode! So much to absorb. Ruby's little sleep woofs are so cute; thanks for leaving them in. I greatly appreciate the efforts you expend to bring us these snippets of delights and little terrors. Thanks for continuing narrating "The Poisoned Rose". Thank you, Tony!
Your chuckles / giggles are charming and really make my night ❤
Wonderful as always, Ive been looking for number #7... ? I was so looking forward to hearing the next instalment of your story of the rose child... Thoroughly enjoyed it & felt it was easily as good or better than many of the other stories you share. I do hope I find more. Please do read more of your work. Greatly appreciated.
❤Thank You
Mr. Walker for being such a Blessing to literature and to broacasting ! PS. You are resplendent writer too ! Love your stories ! Well Done Sir !
You are so welcome
Thank you for a great episode. I managed to listen all the way through but I will listen again..so much interesting stuff!
Really interesting what you mentioned about Cumberland and Wales. I was born just outside Newcastle upon Tyne and dialects have always fascinated me. I knew that some of the Geordie/Northumberland dialect had its roots in Norse..we have that same flat vowel sound in some words..but I've always picked up a similarity with the Welsh dialect. Did some research and apparently there was a Welsh tribe in the border/ north East area. I'm endlessly fascinated by it all
Enjoying the episodes of your story very much
Hope you and Sheila have a wonderful time in Glasto
Well, apparently the name Eliot is from Heliwr or Heliydd 'Hunter'
One of my faves. Thank you ❤
Gripping, amusing, funny, disturbing, horrifying. Sleep inducing? Hardly! MUST go to bed and perhaps sleep. Have to Nico to the vet tomarrow. Thanks, Tony, for your hard work. Much appreciated!
Good night 😴
@@sleepy-folklore Thanks! I meant I probably wouldn't sleep out of worry for Dog Nico. I will listen again giving this the attention it deserves when I have Nico home safe and sound from his operation. Your'tee bst, Tony!
I fell asleep tonight listening to you and had a dream about you. I was in a store, and heard you talking and asked you to please speak in Welsh so I could hear what it sounded like! 😂

@@sleepy-folklore well, I don't know if my awake self wants to hear Welsh as much as my sleeping self did! But thanks. I will give that a listen. Thanks for many hours of entertainment. Awake or asleep!
