@@moritzrathmann2529 Basically, plunderphonics/downtempo artists take existing songs (typically lounge music), slow it down, play with the pitch, and occasionally shuffle some sections. It's essentially inverse nightcore, it's not transformative enough to be considered a remix. I don't say this to rag on the genre, I love downtempo, but it's not viable in commercial platforms due to this.
@@jagger8595 if thats the case then id absolutely adore to find the original tracks, but at the same time there are so many details that i feel are unique to modest by default. is that even possible in plunderphonics ?
@@JaleLkharrat It's usually very easy to find the song: Expand the description of the video, and you have a list of songs. RUclips was able to identify 6 of them in this case. Just listen to them and figure out which is which. Sometimes it can't identify it, and that makes it harder, you can try looking at the artist's bandcamp for extra information on samples, or message them directly. This also should answer your last question.
Oh this one is good. I feel like a cool, sexy detective despite just doing a boring desk job as the setting sun streams in on me through dusty old blinds.
Another banger from modest by default. They should also release these on spotify or soundcloud at least😢
It's plunderphonics, it can't be released on those platforms due to copyright
What does it mean why? Is it Mixes?
